Hatred (or hate) is a deep and emotional extreme dislike, directed against a certain object or class of objects. The objects of such hatred can vary widely, from inanimate objects to animals, oneself or other people, entire groups of people, people in general, existence, or the whole world. Though not necessarily, hatred is often associated with feelings of anger and disposition towards hostility against the objects of hatred. Hatred can drive oneself to extreme actions. Actions upon people or oneself after a lingering thought are not uncommon. Hatred can result in extreme behavior including violence, murder, and war.
Philosophers have offered many influential definitions of hatred. René Descartes viewed hate as an awareness that something is bad combined with an urge to withdraw from it. Baruch Spinoza defined hate as a type of sorrow that is due to an external cause. Aristotle viewed hate as a desire for the annihilation of an object that is incurable by time. ((Hatred is sorrow with the accompanying idea of an external cause. (When something, or someone, gives us sorrow, we feel hatred towards that thing or person.)) David Hume believed that hate is an irreducible feeling that is not definable at all.
Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bryant enjoyed a successful high school basketball career at Lower Merion High School, where he was recognized as the top high school basketball player in the country. He decided to declare his eligibility for the NBA Draft upon graduation, and was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. As a rookie, Bryant earned himself a reputation as a high-flyer and a fan favorite by winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest.
Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. A heated feud between the duo and a loss in the 2004 NBA Finals was followed by O'Neal's trade from the Lakers after the 2003–04 season. Following O'Neal's departure Bryant became the cornerstone of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise. He led the NBA in scoring during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons, setting numerous scoring records in the process. In 2006, Bryant scored a career-high 81 points against the Toronto Raptors, the second most points scored in a single game in NBA history, second only to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game in 1962. He was awarded the regular season's Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) in 2008. After losing in the 2008 NBA Finals, Bryant led the Lakers to two consecutive championships in 2009 and 2010, earning the NBA Finals MVP Award on both occasions.

The forgeries will be left behind, giving the impression that the thieves abandoned their haul when they fled. For a single day the gallery is open to the public under the Doors Open scheme and the trio plan to use this to their advantage. Mike brings on board another old friend, small time crook Charlie Calloway, but Charlie is in debt to a gang boss known as the Geordie and wants a painting to buy him off. The gang use a fake fire drill to pull off the theft and, despite getting locked in the gallery, are successful. Laura returns to Mike, who confesses what he has done but Gissing has double-crossed the others, absconding with all the paintings and leaving Allan,Charlie and Mike at the mercy of the Geordie. It is down to Laura to save the situation.
