Director Joel Schumacher inherited the Batman franchise from Tim Burton and began steering it in the campier direction of the Sixties television show with this third installment. First-time Batman/Bruce Wayne (Val Kilmer), in his only outing as the Caped Crusader, is effectively brooding as he ponders strange dreams about his parents' death and escapes his own near-demise at the hands of Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones), a former district attorney driven insane and turned into a master criminal when a gangster throws acid in his face. Meanwhile, as sexy psychologist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) tries to analyze and seduce both Bruce Wayne and Batman, Wayne Enterprises employee Edward Nygma (Jim Carrey) reacts badly to getting fired, using his self-invented mind-energy device to transform into the super-intelligent Riddler. The Riddler teams up with Two-Face to bring down Batman and drain the minds of Gotham City residents with his device, while Batman gets some much-needed help in the form of circus performer Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell), out for vengeance after being orphaned by Two-Face.

Batman Forever is a 1995 American superhero film produced by Tim Burton and directed by Joel Schumacher. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Returns (1992), with Val Kilmer replacing Michael Keaton as Batman. The plot focuses on Batman trying to stop Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey) in their villainous scheme to drain information from all the brains in Gotham City. He gains allegiance from psychiatrist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) and orphaned ward Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell).
The film had a change in tone compared to the previous installments, becoming more family-friendly since Warner Bros. considered that the previous film, Batman Returns, underperformed at the box office due to its violence and dark overtones. Production was troubled, with many actors considered for the main roles. Batman Forever received mixed reviews upon release, but was a success with audiences, out-grossing Batman Returns with over $336 million worldwide and becoming the sixth-highest grossing film of 1995.

First-time Batman/Bruce Wayne (Val Kilmer), in his only outing as the Caped Crusader, is effectively brooding as he ponders strange dreams about his parents' death and escapes his own near-demise at the hands of Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones), a former district attorney driven insane and turned into a master criminal when a gangster throws acid in his face. Meanwhile, as sexy psychologist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) tries to analyze and seduce both Bruce Wayne and Batman, Wayne Enterprises employee Edward Nygma (Jim Carrey) reacts badly to getting fired, using his self-invented mind-energy device to transform into the super-intelligent Riddler. The Riddler teams up with Two-Face to bring down Batman and drain the minds of Gotham City residents with his device, while Batman gets some much-needed help in the form of circus performer Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell), out for vengeance after being orphaned by Two-Face.

I was going through the deleted scenes from the Batman Forever DVD and decided to remaster/edit this specific scene.
Why ? Because in the DVD it was basically raw footage from a 35mm camera, and with the power of editing, I tried my best to make this scene come to life.

Batman Forever: The Arcade Game (PS1) Playthrough [60 FPS]- NintendoComplete
A complete playthrough of Acclaim's 1996 PlayStation beat 'em up arcade port, Batman Forever: The Arcade Game. Played through on hard mode. I think I about had a nervous breakdown during practicing this game so much, I don't ever remember playing such an awkward and absurdly difficult Final Fight brawler style game- this really is a harder game than Streets of Rage 3. And it's nowhere near as good. Given that this was Acclaim's first in-house developed arcade game, when viewed against the general quality of anything they produced, this game's general mediocrity is hardly surprising. I do love the hideously campy shuffle walk, and the really cheese moves that try to mimic Turtles in Time (when Batman kicks the guy straight into the screen, or uses the grappling hook), and the one-liners... -

I think I about had a nervous breakdown during practicing this game so much, I don't ever remember playing such an awkward and absurdly difficult Final Fight brawler style game- this really is a harder game than Streets of Rage 3. I do love the hideously campy shuffle walk, and the really cheese moves that try to mimic Turtles in Time (when Batman kicks the guy straight into the screen, or uses the grappling hook), and the one-liners are pretty awesome.
But seriously, even on easy, this game is painfully hard. Don't torture yourself unless you are extremely good at these games and have a ton of patience to learn all the weird quirks in this one. It can be fun if can dedicate the time do that :)

Complete playthrough of Batman Forever The Arcade Game on Sega Saturn using Robin. Due to the somewhat dubious collision detection it's quite tricky to complete normally. So we exploited Robin's spin kick heavily for this playthrough, QCF+Kick which not only inflicts heavily damage, but includes a large number of invulnerable frames of animations, making the game very easy to finish. If you're in any doubt about the quality of Batman Forever after Randomised Gaming Nightmares video on it, this should help clear up any debate, it's a terrible game in every aspect.
