About us

The Australia-Thailand Institute (ATI) was established in 2005 to promote bilateral relations with Thailand and to expand institutional and people-to-people links.

About the Institute

The Australia-Thailand Institute (ATI) was established in 2005 to advise the Australian Government, through the Minister for Foreign Affairs, on broadening and deepening the relationship between Australia and Thailand and to undertake and support programs that strengthen next generation links between Australia and Thailand. Every year the Institute carries out a number of regular programs, as well as administering an annual grants round.

The ATI invites grant applications each year between 1 March and 1 May for projects commencing the following financial year. A link to our online application form will be made available from this website during these dates only.
