Minilogue is a Swedish Progressive House/Techno music group consisting of Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus Henriksson. The name is a blend of minimal (the musical style) and dialogue, which refers to music as a form of communication.
Beside their music production as Minilogue, they are both involved in the group Son Kite, Trimatic and IMPS (with Ian Chaplin and Philip Rex), and Sebastian has the soloprojects as Ooze.
Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus Henriksson came from opposing backgrounds.
Sebastian was trained as a classical musician playing the organ, piano and the violin among other instruments. He even became involved in teaching them until his coming of age at 18 when he formed a band and began experimenting with the sounds in a more contemporary way.
Marcus lived on a diet of Kraftwerk and the Human League until realising his true calling in the techno parties of the 1990s. Through promoting parties he moved on to become one of the bigger DJs in Southern Sweden. It was in a party where they met and decided to combine Sebastian’s musician’s perspective and knowledge with Marcus' DJ skills and experience from the scene.
The Korg Minilogue is a two VCO, four-voice, polyphonic analog synthesizer from Korg, designed by Korg engineer and synthesizer designer Tatsuya Takahashi. It was announced just prior to NAMM 2016, and is priced at $499.99 in the United States, and ¥55,000 in Japan.

We review the affordable analogue four voice poly synth from Korg. And show you how to fix the envelope retrigger issue
Get the Korg Minilogue right here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/minilogue Sweetwater’s synthesis guru, Daniel Fisher, demonstrates the surprisingly affordable Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analogue synthesizer. Fisher zealously shows off the performance potential of the Minilogue, thanks to its generous array of dedicated knobs, toggle switches, and its gorgeous OLED waveform display. Performance demo starts at 1:43. The Korg Minilogue is a true 4-voice polyphony synth, with *each voice* having two Oscillators, a resonant 2/4-pole Lowpass Filter, an Amp, two Envelope Generators, and an LFO. Even the Audio In jack is sent, pre-Filter, to each of the four voices. When in DUO Mode, you have two voices with four oscillators per note. When in UNISON, you have eight oscillators for that...
"You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is in danger by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. And so to whatever degree any one of us can bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building of the new paradigm, then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit, and that after all is what it's really all about." *with excerpts from "The World and its Double" by Terence McKenna (1946-2000) Minilogue Live-Set from the "Free Your Mind" Festival in Arnhem,NL June 4, 2011 photo by Sebastião Salgado
Sequence 14/15 of the recently released "Animals" DVD, a first on Cocoon Recordings. The DVD is available at Cocoon Webshop (20€) or Amazon (21.99€) and it's distributed via Intergroove (CORDVD001). The film is divided into fifteen chapters. Each chapter has a topic of its own and develops a unique visual style. All parts are connected by a certain theme: the conjunctive concept of the film is the idea of universal transformation and movement, which is represented in the animals. The artists follow the surrealist credo that everything is linked with everything else in a hidden way. The only way to uncover these links is art. With its irresistible synthetic dynamics, the film reveals these secret connections.

If you like my stuff, please support me on https://sonicdetours.bandcamp.com I got lucky the other day and bypassed the waiting list for a Korg Minilogue at my local music shop. I have been wanting one of these since they came out and I was not disappointed... this is a fantastic synth! Here's my first performance with my new silver beast. Be sure to listen with head phones or external speakers... the bass is pretty deep and I can't hear it on my MacBook internal speakers at all. As usual, everything was sequenced and mixed in Ableton Live, using plenty of compressors, reverbs and delays. Apart from the drums, all parts were made with the hardware synths you see in the video and the stereo master was recorded in real time on my iPhone 6, along with the video. No multi tracking of pos...

a rare one off studio interview on camera. not something you're likely to see again. same goes for that plunging v neck.
Korg Minilogue is in the lab and under the hands of freckled and speckled Flux... yeah I'm giving it a good tweak and I am quite pleased. check it out.
...Do you love yourself?
You may think that you do
But do you really?
There's only one way to find out
By taking a closer look at what you think, say and do
You may not like some of what you find
But if you're serious about really loving yourself
