At the end of the rainy season in September, the Wodaabe travel to In-Gall to gather salt and participate at the Cure Salée festival, a meeting of several nomadic groups. Here the young Wodaabe men, with elaborate make-up, feathers and other adornments, perform dances and songs to impress women. The male beauty ideal of the Wodaabe stresses tallness, white eyes and teeth; the men will often roll their eyes and show their teeth to emphasize these characteristics. The Wodaabe clans will then join for their week-long Guérewol celebration, a contest where the young men's beauty is judged by young women.

A rare example of Herzog tackling the "ethnographic" corner of the documentary genre, with wonderfully mystical results! Herdsmen of the Sun tells of the Wodaabe tribe, a nomadic African community (self-described as "the most beautiful people on earth") who annually practices a festival called Gerewol, in which females choose their mates from a lineup of super-elaborately adorned men with wild makeup, feathers and kaleidoscopic robes draping their seven-foot frames. Starting with the first scene, Herzog accentuates the ethereal nature of this rite further by layering early 20th-century recordings of opera on the soundtrack; the film's dreamlike depiction of a foreign people, very much at odds with the purist cinema vérité tradition of ethnography without adornment, is the embodiment of Herzog's own "Minnesota Declaration": that through "imagination and stylization", there can be such a thing as a poetic, ecstatic truth. O vídeo é resultado de uma intervenção em imagens de documentários sobre a amazônia realizados nos anos trinta, e que são objeto de pesquisa da minha tese doutorado. Durante a exploração da relação entre os mapas, a representação geográfica e sua manifestação nos filmes, propósito inicial da pesquisa, deparei-me com uma série de conexões impensadas que tomaram rumo próprio, estabelecendo relações entre questões que aparentemente não tinham vizinhança nenhuma. O geográfico e o biológico, o macro e o micro, como elementos dispostos e representados nos mapas, ou por eles silenciado, se constituem num ponto de partida para estabelecer conexões outras que deslocam as imagens de seu contexto original. A superposição de imagens de mapas — em quanto planos de intervenção do território — com imagens de sobrevoos de aviões e imagens resultado de percursos feitos a través de google earth sobre os rios que aparecem nas filmagens, tentam colocar em tensão a ideia da representação do território e suas diversas formas simbólicas de apropriação. Essas imagens se encontram em diálogo com os desenhos feitos por henri michaux sob os efeitos da mescalina, como uma rememoração da sua viagem pelo amazonas em 1927, e que operam como formas diferentes de apreensão do espaço, onde o macro e o micro se superpõem e se contêm. A selva é um organismo vivo.
Nesse processo, as imagens não foram somente objeto de intervenção. Camadas de som, constituídas por fragmentos tomados dos próprios filmes foram constituindo uma paisagem sonora que articulou as imagens, suas continuidades e desenvolvimentos. Vozes, cantos e sons da floresta se entrecruzam para criar um cenário povoado de discursos fragmentados, opostos e em confrontação: ideias repetitivas que se constituíram em hegemônicas das representações sobre a floresta — lugar inabitado, não visitado previamente e suscetível de ser transformado pelas forças do desenvolvimento e do progresso — são entrecruzadas por um canto funerário bororo, que enuncia a presença em ausência dos habitantes da floresta.

Bororo people
The Bororo people are an indigenous people of Brazil, living in the state of Mato Grosso. They also extended into Bolivia and the Brazilian state of Goiás. The Western Bororo, now extinct, lived around the Jauru and Cabaçal rivers. The Eastern Bororo (Orarimogodoge) live in the region of the São Lourenço, Garças, and Vermelho Rivers. The Bororo live in eight villages.
Names
The Bororo, whose name means "village court" in their language, are also known as the Araés, Araripoconé, Boe, Coroados, Coxiponé, Cuiabá, and Porrudos people.
Culture
While searching for missing explorer Percy Fawcett in 1930, a wayward party including Aloha Wanderwell filmed the daily activities of the Bororo. A 32-minute silent film from the trip survives as part of the Smithsonian Institution's Human Studies Film Archives and documents a ceremonial dance, a first contact scenario with Boboré villagers, and Bororo men experiencing sympathetic labor pains. Anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss lived for some time among the Bororo during his first stay in Brazil (1935–1939). Their mythology features extensively in his book The Raw and the Cooked.

Here Listen to the President of BADA speaking during the installation of the Library. She leads Banten Community as President of Community Development. Madam Njolai Elfrida the BADA president was very happy to see EFA installing such a huge Library .This Enough 4 All Community Library has impacted the lives of over 600 rural children in more than 10 rural schools in lover Nkum Sub-Division in NW Cameroon. The situation in rural areas is unbearable .Needless to say, education and schooling of children was never a priority for the community. In addition due to many reasons including social taboo, inaccessibility, violent situations, child’s right violation, and severe lack of awareness in people the children here were never encouraged to attend school. We therefore created EFAO to see all children study in all communities especially the girls and minorities. We help Minority “bororo’’ children to study with scholarships. Child-friendly facilities, including interactive learning tools and games allow these children to grow up in an environment conducive for their holistic development. EFAO also provides counselling to parents to make them understand the importance of education. Promoting developmental workshops among the rural tribal communities is also a part of the project. Looking forward to fill the human resource center with IT tools and start an agricultural project that will address so many SDGs to make like better to the poor community. Equally we are planing to come out with some informal and vocational training to help youths gain skills in advocacy to do some activities that are income regenerating that can employ them and that equally addresses social problems under SDGs. Durante a exploração da relação entre os mapas, a representação geográfica e sua manifestação nos filmes, propósito inicial da pesquisa, deparei-me com uma série de conexões impensadas que tomaram rumo próprio, estabelecendo relações entre questões que aparentemente não tinham vizinhança nenhuma. O geográfico e o biológico, o macro e o micro, como elementos dispostos e representados nos mapas, ou por eles silenciado, se constituem num ponto de partida para estabelecer conexões outras que deslocam as imagens de seu contexto original. A superposição de imagens de mapas — em quanto planos de intervenção do território — com imagens de sobrevoos de aviões e imagens resultado de percursos feitos a través de google earth sobre os rios que aparecem nas filmagens, tentam colocar em tensão a ideia da representação do território e suas diversas formas simbólicas de apropriação. Essas imagens se encontram em diálogo com os desenhos feitos por henri michaux sob os efeitos da mescalina, como uma rememoração da sua viagem pelo amazonas em 1927, e que operam como formas diferentes de apreensão do espaço, onde o macro e o micro se superpõem e se contêm. A selva é um organismo vivo.
Nesse processo, as imagens não foram somente objeto de intervenção. Camadas de som, constituídas por fragmentos tomados dos próprios filmes foram constituindo uma paisagem sonora que articulou as imagens, suas continuidades e desenvolvimentos. Vozes, cantos e sons da floresta se entrecruzam para criar um cenário povoado de discursos fragmentados, opostos e em confrontação: ideias repetitivas que se constituíram em hegemônicas das representações sobre a floresta — lugar inabitado, não visitado previamente e suscetível de ser transformado pelas forças do desenvolvimento e do progresso — são entrecruzadas por um canto funerário bororo, que enuncia a presença em ausência dos habitantes da floresta.

Child-friendly facilities, including interactive learning tools and games allow these children to grow up in an environment conducive for their holistic development. EFAO also provides counselling to parents to make them understand the importance of education. Promoting developmental workshops among the rural tribal communities is also a part of the project. Looking forward to fill the human resource center with IT tools and start an agricultural project that will address so many SDGs to make like better to the poor community.
Equally we are planing to come out with some informal and vocational training to help youths gain skills in advocacy to do some activities that are income regenerating that can employ them and that equally addresses social problems under SDGs.

Produced by the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee (IPACC) and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA) in cooperation with the Association des Femmes Peules Autochtones du Tchad (AFPAT)
In 2011 – 2012, indigenous peoples’ organisations came together with meteorologists, UN agencies, and other international cooperation agencies to explore the impacts of climate change on nomadic herding communities, and the possibility for bringing in traditional knowledge into national policy platforms.
This film is the second of a two part series entitled Climate Governance, documenting indigenous peoples’ responses to climate change, and the mobilisation of different forms of knowledge to create dialogue between scientists, decision-makers and communities at risk of conflict and climate vulnerability.
‘Dangers in the bush, map of good faith’, the latest release of the series, takes us to the village of Baїbokoum in southern Chad, where M’Bororo herders use Participatory 3 Dimensional Modelling (P3DM), a mapping method part of the Participatory GIS family, to represent their oral and traditional knowledge of their landscape and ecosystem to their farming neighbours and the State authorities.
The map is constructed as a training exercise, supported by CTA, with indigenous pastoralists participating from around Chad, Niger, Cameroon, Uganda, Tanzania and northern Kenya. The event takes place in the holy month of Ramadan – which raises not only the question of traditional knowledge, but also of Islamic values in finding solutions and accepting responsibility for the conservation and sustainable management of lands and waters. During the project, Muslim herders work together, and pray together even though they come from different parts of Africa. They discover that they are facing similar problems of exclusion, vulnerability and impacts of climate change and land use changes.
The map – born in the context of communal tensions and uncertainty – is done in good faith, uniting people who have felt in competition with each other for rights of way, water and resources, to see their territory in a more holistic way and seek solutions based on cooperation, dialogue and good faith. The film is being launched at the 18th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Doha, Qatar on 27 November 2012.

At the end of the rainy season in September, the Wodaabe travel to In-Gall to gather salt and participate at the Cure Salée festival, a meeting of several nomadic groups. Here the young Wodaabe men, with elaborate make-up, feathers and other adornments, perform dances and songs to impress women. The male beauty ideal of the Wodaabe stresses tallness, white eyes and teeth; the men will often roll their eyes and show their teeth to emphasize these characteristics. The Wodaabe clans will then join for their week-long Guérewol celebration, a contest where the young men's beauty is judged by young women.

Herdsmen of the Sun tells of the Wodaabe tribe, a nomadic African community (self-described as "the most beautiful people on earth") who annually practices a festival called Gerewol, in which females choose their mates from a lineup of super-elaborately adorned men with wild makeup, feathers and kaleidoscopic robes draping their seven-foot frames. O vídeo é resultado de uma intervenção em imagens de documentários sobre a amazônia realizados nos anos trinta, e que são objeto de pesquisa da minha tese doutorado. Durante a exploração da relação entre os mapas, a representação geográfica e sua manifestação nos filmes, propósito inicial da pesquisa, deparei-me com uma série de conexões impensadas que tomaram rumo próprio, estabelecendo relações entre questões que aparentemente não tinham vizinhança nenhuma. O geográfico e o biológico, o macro e o micro, como elementos dispostos e representados nos mapas, ou por eles silenciado, se constituem num ponto de partida para estabelecer conexões outras que deslocam as imagens de seu contexto original. A superposição de imagens de mapas — em quanto planos de intervenção do território — com imagens de sobrevoos de aviões e imagens resultado de percursos feitos a través de google earth sobre os rios que aparecem nas filmagens, tentam colocar em tensão a ideia da representação do território e suas diversas formas simbólicas de apropriação. Essas imagens se encontram em diálogo com os desenhos feitos por henri michaux sob os efeitos da mescalina, como uma rememoração da sua viagem pelo amazonas em 1927, e que operam como formas diferentes de apreensão do espaço, onde o macro e o micro se superpõem e se contêm. A selva é um organismo vivo.
Nesse processo, as imagens não foram somente objeto de intervenção. A selva é um organismo vivo.

Madam Njolai Elfrida the BADA president was very happy to see EFA installing such a huge Library .This Enough 4 All Community Library has impacted the lives of over 600 rural children in more than 10 rural schools in lover Nkum Sub-Division in NW Cameroon. The situation in rural areas is unbearable .Needless to say, education and schooling of children was never a priority for the community. In addition due to many reasons including social taboo, inaccessibility, violent situations, child’s right violation, and severe lack of awareness in people the children here were never encouraged to attend school. We therefore created EFAO to see all children study in all communities especially the girls and minorities. We help Minority “bororo’’ children to study with scholarships.
Child-friendly facilities, including interactive learning tools and games allow these children to grow up in an environment conducive for their holistic development. EFAO also provides counselling to parents to make them understand the importance of education. Promoting developmental workshops among the rural tribal communities is also a part of the project. Looking forward to fill the human resource center with IT tools and start an agricultural project that will address so many SDGs to make like better to the poor community.
Equally we are planing to come out with some informal and vocational training to help youths gain skills in advocacy to do some activities that are income regenerating that can employ them and that equally addresses social problems under SDGs.

Produced by the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee (IPACC) and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA) in cooperation with the Association des Femmes Peules Autochtones du Tchad (AFPAT)
In 2011 – 2012, indigenous peoples’ organisations came together with meteorologists, UN agencies, and other international cooperation agencies to explore the impacts of climate change on nomadic herding communities, and the possibility for bringing in traditional knowledge into national policy platforms.
This film is the second of a two part series entitled Climate Governance, documenting indigenous peoples’ responses to climate change, and the mobilisation of different forms of knowledge to create dialogue between scientists, decision-makers and communities at risk of conflict and climate vulnerability.
‘Dangers in the bush, map of good faith’, the latest release of the series, takes us to the village of Baїbokoum in southern Chad, where M’Bororo herders use Participatory 3 Dimensional Modelling (P3DM), a mapping method part of the Participatory GIS family, to represent their oral and traditional knowledge of their landscape and ecosystem to their farming neighbours and the State authorities.
The map is constructed as a training exercise, supported by CTA, with indigenous pastoralists participating from around Chad, Niger, Cameroon, Uganda, Tanzania and northern Kenya. The event takes place in the holy month of Ramadan – which raises not only the question of traditional knowledge, but also of Islamic values in finding solutions and accepting responsibility for the conservation and sustainable management of lands and waters. During the project, Muslim herders work together, and pray together even though they come from different parts of Africa. They discover that they are facing similar problems of exclusion, vulnerability and impacts of climate change and land use changes.
The map – born in the context of communal tensions and uncertainty – is done in good faith, uniting people who have felt in competition with each other for rights of way, water and resources, to see their territory in a more holistic way and seek solutions based on cooperation, dialogue and good faith. The film is being launched at the 18th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Doha, Qatar on 27 November 2012.

I have continued to play my Bororo campaign. This post-war period was foundation period for British colonies on north of Bororo borders. Since they lost in war they started to build system for future possible war with Bororo. Bororo did the same, with new reforms of army, with building millitary provinces in north and using spies to shake British crown in this colonies.
For Bororo and South America, this period is all about Europe colonisation and wars with europeans, but also enlargement of British colonies. Also, South American people started lots of wars what made them weak. This will totally change the political map of central South America.
Soon, in the year 1559. the Third Bororo-British war started. At start Bororo totaly defeat British army and taken their South American Colony. But, soon British navy completely blocked the Bororian coast. The continuation of war will be in next video.
