The summer season is here, and as you get your wardrobe beach-ready, here's how you can complete the look with stylish goggles. Be it the vintage wayfarers of the round frames — when it comes to sunglasses, young Indoreans are smart. They are choosing to not splurge, but buy smart. Pocket-friendly, stylish and chic, the sunglasses in every young Indorean's wardrobe make a statement of their own. Here's a lowdown on these stylish pairs and why they are popular among youngsters.
Indore's markets have the coolest glares.Indore's small stalls and the most famous .Novelty market offers youngsters myriad options of shades. Not only sunglasses but other summer essentials such as caps and bandanas are also in demand in this market. "The sunglasses which are available at the city's markets are quite popular among youngsters and at par with the ones being sold at markets in metro cities. It is always good to sport branded eyewear, there is no harm in owning some shades from the local markets. They are as cool as the branded ones and can be flaunted once in a while," shared Sonam Shukla, a city fashion enthusiast, who purchased a pair of John Lenon goggles recently."
Are you Pool Party ready?
As soon as summer sets in, Indoreans begin letting their hair down with pool parties. Be it birthdays, farewells or a party for any other ocassion, youngsters of the city just like anything by the poolside. So, if it is a get-together beside the pool, then a pair of glares is a must, apart from a sunscreen with great SPF. Shruti Soni, an MBA student, who had her farewell party last week, shared, "While setting out for the party, I forgot to carry my glares. So, I took a stop at Rajendra Nagar area and found the apt shades for the party. They were a pair of blue reflectors, which increased my style quoteint doublefolds for the party. And I purchased the pair just for `150. These pairs are apt for such parties as you don't feel the pinch even if you lose them."

Most people believe that protecting their eyes is the key to overall health. Be it protecting the eyes from direct sunlight or simply shielding them from the dust, sunglasses are a must have. Nikhar Gupta uses glares for safer driving and recovery. He says, "I live in Mhow and am working in Indore. I need to ride daily and the helmet is just not enough to protect me from the sunlight. I camouflage my face with a pair of biker sunglasses that I bought from the wayside near Medicaps College. These sunglasses are good for seasonal use. I use them roughly and it doesn't pinch my pocket to retire them every two months." Aishwarya Roy, an air hostess by profession, says the glares make her feel good, "They add oomph to your style. In fact that's the first thing anybody would notice about you if you are sporting sunglasses. No matter what look you're going for, from classically cool to modern and fashionable, there's a pair of sunglasses that will make you look and feel great." Sahil Joshi, a youngster, shares "I am a Karan Kundra fan and he has been sporting great sunglasses off late. I definitely can't afford the branded sunglasses but thanks to the novelty market, the first copies suffice. The silver reflectors are in vogue and I bought these after seeing Karan sporting them."
