This is a video of the old display of ceiling fans from my collection that I had set up in my garage from circa 2007-2010. There were 17 fans installed total, all completely functional in their respective locations. This video shows them on low and high, as well as the spin down time for most of them. Some continue to spin past the amount of memory left on the card I was using at the time.

Alright all ceiling fan lovers, the time you've been waiting for is finally here! :D A YouTube video of showing all the ceiling fans in my house running on all 3 speeds (and turning the light-kit on (especially for low and high speeds) for those who are interested of seeing that). :D The brands (installed) including Encon, Sierra, Seagull Lighting, Heritage, and two Hampton Bays. The Encon (from late 80's) and Sierra fans (from around mid-to-late 80's) are Original to this house (and we moved here in 2002 which was 10 years ago now), and the Hampton Bay fans were bought in late 2000's and the the Seagull Lighting and Heritage fans were bought in the early 2010's.

Fanimation is home of the world's largest (and presumably only) fan museum, with hundreds of fans from the 1800s to present!
There are a great many ceiling fans installed EVERYWHERE in the company, including every single office and cubicle. There is also a great deal of fan-related artwork and memorabilia posted everywhere.
I try to show and demonstrate as many fans as possible including some of my favorites: The Enigma (including a prototype version), the Air Shadow, the Avaston, the Torto, and the Levon,
I do not know the names of many of the Fanimation models, if viewers could comment with the names of all the models shown, that would be very much appreciated!
I buy, sell, and trade vintage ceiling fans. I also do commercial fan/lighting related projects, am connected with several major fan manufacturers, and work with the fan museum at Fanimation. Ceiling fan
A ceiling fan is a mechanical fan, usually electrically powered, suspended from the ceiling of a room, that uses hub-mounted rotating paddles to circulate air.
A ceiling fan rotates much more slowly than an electric desk fan; it cools people effectively by introducing slow movement into the otherwise still, hot air of a room, inducing evaporative cooling. Fans never actually cool air, unlike air-conditioning equipment, but use significantly less power (cooling air is thermodynamically expensive). Conversely, a ceiling fan can also be used to reduce the stratification of warm air in a room by forcing it down to affect both occupants' sensations and thermostat readings, thereby improving climate control energy efficiency.

Falling Down
Falling Down is a 1993 psychological thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Ebbe Roe Smith. The film stars Michael Douglas in the lead role of William Foster, a divorcé and unemployed former defense engineer. The film centers on Foster as he goes on a violent rampage across the city of Los Angeles, trying to reach the house of his estranged ex-wife in time for his daughter's birthday party. Along the way, a series of encounters, both trivial and provocative, cause him to react with violence and make sardonic observations on life, poverty, the economy, and commercialism. Robert Duvall co-stars as Martin Prendergast, an aging LAPD Sergeant on the day of his retirement, who faces his own frustrations, even as he tracks down Foster.
The title of the film, referring to Foster's mental collapse, is taken from the nursery rhyme "London Bridge Is Falling Down", which is a recurring motif throughout the film.
Plot
William Foster is an engineer, recently laid off in the early 90s recession, and under a restraining order keeping him away from his recently divorced wife Beth and their child, Adele. Stuck in a traffic jam Foster abandons his car, planning to walk across Los Angeles to "go home" and attend Adele's birthday party. He repeatedly calls his ex-wife from a phone booth and runs out of change. Police Sergeant Martin Prendergast happens on the abandoned car, helping moving it off the road while musing about it being his last day before retirement.

This is a video of the old display of ceiling fans from my collection that I had set up in my garage from circa 2007-2010. There were 17 fans installed total, all completely functional in their respective locations. This video shows them on low and high, as well as the spin down time for most of them. Some continue to spin past the amount of memory left on the card I was using at the time.

Alright all ceiling fan lovers, the time you've been waiting for is finally here! :D A YouTube video of showing all the ceiling fans in my house running on all 3 speeds (and turning the light-kit on (especially for low and high speeds) for those who are interested of seeing that). :D The brands (installed) including Encon, Sierra, Seagull Lighting, Heritage, and two Hampton Bays. The Encon (from late 80's) and Sierra fans (from around mid-to-late 80's) are Original to this house (and we moved here in 2002 which was 10 years ago now), and the Hampton Bay fans were bought in late 2000's and the the Seagull Lighting and Heritage fans were bought in the early 2010's.

Fanimation is home of the world's largest (and presumably only) fan museum, with hundreds of fans from the 1800s to present!
There are a great many ceiling fans installed EVERYWHERE in the company, including every single office and cubicle. There is also a great deal of fan-related artwork and memorabilia posted everywhere.
I try to show and demonstrate as many fans as possible including some of my favorites: The Enigma (including a prototype version), the Air Shadow, the Avaston, the Torto, and the Levon,
I do not know the names of many of the Fanimation models, if viewers could comment with the names of all the models shown, that would be very much appreciated!
I buy, sell, and trade vintage ceiling fans. I also do commercial fan/lighting related projects, am connected with several major fan manufacturers, and work with the fan museum at Fanimation.
