Transformers is the first animated television series in the Transformers franchise. The series depicts a war among giant robots that can transform into vehicles and other objects. Written and recorded in America, the series was animated in Japan and South Korea. The entire series was based upon the Diaclone and Microman toy lines originally created by Japanese toy manufacturer Takara, which were developed into the Transformers toy line by American company Hasbro. The series was supplemented by a feature film, The Transformers: The Movie (1986), taking place between the second and third seasons.
In Japan, the series was called Fight! Super Robot Life Form Transformers for Seasons 1 and 2, and Transformers 2010 for Season 3. Following the conclusion of the series in 1987, the Japanese created Transformers: The Headmasters, a sequel series.
Due to the 1992 franchise-wide relaunch under the name Transformers: Generation 2, the original series and its toy and comic book parallels are referred to as Transformers: Generation 1, aka G1. Initially a fan-coined term, it has since made its way into official use as a retronym. Although not a completely new show, new CGI features such as bumpers, alter the appearance of the old episodes.

Let's be honest, the Transformers was a glorified toy commercial but it was awesome.
The series depicts an epic war among giant robots that can transform into vehicles and objects.
The series was based upon Hasbro's Transformers toy line, itself based upon the Diaclone and Microman toy lines originally created by Japanese toy manufacturer Takara.
The series also had a feature film, The Transformers: The Movie (1986), taking place between the second and third seasons.
It was one of the best cartoons from my childhood and something that I still really enjoy today.
New generations have been added but the Generation One Series as it has come to be known is in my opinion the best, I have combined each seasons intro together for ease of viewing.

In a new Prime Productions Unlimited series called, "What if Wednesday", we ask the question... "What if Transformers: The Movie Galvatron's portrayal was influenced by Frank Welker's TV show Galvatron?" Obviously there is only 1 Frank Welker, and there are very VERY few attempts at imitating such a great voice actor's portrayal of Galvatron as was seen in The Transformers TV show during season 3. For good reason too... Welker is one of the most talented voice actors in history and truthfully cannot be imitated. Here we pay our respects and attempt take little influences from Welker's performances with The Transformers TV Show's portrayal to boldly attempt to answer the question... "What if they made Transformers The Movie Galvatron more like the persona seen in Transformers The TV Series Galvatron?"
In this fan dub, we witness the birth of Galvatron, and the death of Starscream. There are so many dubs using a Leonard Nimoy influenced Galvatron, but only an extremely rare few attempts at a TV Series Frank Welker influenced Galvatron. So here it is YouTube! An attempt at doing a Welker influenced version of Galvatron, which so few have ever even tried. Critics will be critics...but feedback will be education. Feedback is appreciated. Let the slaughter begin!

Let's be honest, the Transformers was a glorified toy commercial but it was awesome. The series depicts an epic war among giant robots that can transform into vehicles and objects. Picking up where the Headmasters Series left off in previous dubs, we continue and pay our respects to the Headmasters Ultimate Fan Project using many of the same cast members, as we usher in the Prime Productions era for the future of Headmasters as The Prime Productions Version (PPV). Picking up where Dark Heroes and others have left off in the series, we begin with Episode 7, "The Veil of Mystery".
Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing.
