The supermodel posted a video to Instagram of her lifting over 100 pounds Kate Upton hip thrusts just hours before hitting up the Vanity Fair Oscar party Sunday night. Back in December, Kate showed off the same landmine Kate Upton deadlifts while her trainer, Ben Bruno, could be heard encouraging her behind the camera. “A lot of woman are scared to lift heavy weights because they fear they’ll bulk up and look masculine,” Bruno told The Insider With Yahoo of Kate’s sweaty workouts. “The key though is to focus on getting stronger on the right things.” Kate Upton Bum Workout
He added that Kate “chases strength gains on squats, deadlifts, and Romanian deadlifts… And she can do over 100 pounds for 10 reps. She does hip thrusts with around 200 pounds for 10 reps and pushes a heavy sled weighing close to 400 pounds.”
Ben also revealed that the Sports Illustrated model steers clear of crash dieting and focuses on eating protein while limiting her sugar and alcohol intake. “Kate has done an amazing job and it’s great to see her inspiring woman to train the right way,” he said.

Katherine "Kate" Upton (born June 10, 1992) is an American model and actress known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, first in 2011, when she was named Rookie of the Year, and again in 2012, when she was announced as the cover model.
Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Her uncle is U.S. Representative Fred Upton, Republican of Michigan's 6th congressional district.
As a young equestrian, Upton showed at the American Paint Horse Association and competed on a national level. With her horse Roanie Pony, she won three APHA Reserve World Championships – 13 and Under Western Riding, 13 and Under Horsemanship, and 14–18 Western Riding. She was named the 13 and Under Reserve All-Around Champion, giving her a total of four reserve championships (2nd place). In addition, Upton ended up third overall on the APHA youth Top Twenty. With a second horse, Zipped, she won 14–18 Western Riding and was included in the top 5 in 14–18 Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Pleasure in 2009.

The supermodel posted a video to Instagram of her lifting over 100 pounds Kate Upton hip thrusts just hours before hitting up the Vanity Fair Oscar party Sunday night. Back in December, Kate showed off the same landmine Kate Upton deadlifts while her trainer, Ben Bruno, could be heard encouraging her behind the camera. “A lot of woman are scared to lift heavy weights because they fear they’ll bulk up and look masculine,” Bruno told The Insider With Yahoo of Kate’s sweaty workouts. “The key though is to focus on getting stronger on the right things.” Kate Upton Bum Workout
He added that Kate “chases strength gains on squats, deadlifts, and Romanian deadlifts… And she can do over 100 pounds for 10 reps. She does hip thrusts with around 200 pounds for 10 reps and pushes a heavy sled weighing close to 400 pounds.”
Ben also revealed that the Sports Illustrated model steers clear of crash dieting and focuses on eating protein while limiting her sugar and alcohol intake. “Kate has done an amazing job and it’s great to see her inspiring woman to train the right way,” he said.

Kate Upton first modeled clothing for Garage and Dooney & Bourke.[7] Kate Upton was the 2010--11 face of Guess.[17] In 2011, Kate Upton appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.[5] Kate Upton was featured in the body paint section and named Rookie of the Year for that issue. Kate Upton has since modeled for Beach Bunny Swimwear, and has appeared in Complex and Esquire as "The Woman of the Summer".
In April 2011, an Internet video of Kate Upton doing the dougie hip-hop dance at a Los Angeles Clippers game went viral and served to increase her popularity. Guy Trebay of The New York Times observed that this served to illustrate the power of social media to bestow stardom upon Kate Upton, a model, which had previously been the domain of top designer runway shows.[24] In April 2012, Kate Upton appeared in a video of herself performing the Cat Daddy dance to the song of the same name by The Rej3ctz, which also went viral.[25]

On my recent trip to Italy I was traveling with a group of other bloggers, learning all about the region of Gargano. In an earlier video, I got a lesson from a dialect coach on how to get an authentic Londoner accent. Before we got to the meat of the lesson we had a discussion about the definition of an English accent. Here's the video. As my coach, Sarah Sheperd said, it's a real "bug barrier" or pet-peeve of the English when they hear people referring to an English accent thinking there is simply one accent. The fact of the matter is, there are many accents within London and throughout the UK that are quite diverse. In this video, we try to shed some light on the subject. This experience in Sevilla with flamenco was so special. Let me explain how it came about.
In 2009 during journalism school I made a short documentary about flamenco in New York City. It was simply a class assignment that peaked my interest. Flamenco had revealed itself as a soulful and passionate art that called to me. There is an undeniable resonance I feel with the cries, rhythms and intensity of the music and dance. And I love that Flamenco is an improvisation. Each artist listening to the other, creating, expressing and communicating together. It serves as therapy not just for the artists but for spectators as well.
Earlier this year, Expedia offered me the opportunity to participate in their Find Your Storybook campaign. They told me that I could go anywhere I wanted, all I needed to do was plan the trip and go.
And while so many destinations peaked my interest, I wanted to take the opportunity to finally experience Flamenco in it's birthplace. So I reached out to local organizations and guide companies in Sevilla to plan my trip. I was in search of my Travel-with-Kate-local. And I needed someone who could speak English and who could serve as my ambassador into the world of Flamenco. And as it turned out, Toursbylocals.com was able to find me the perfect person, Maria La Serrana.
Immediately upon connecting with Maria, we felt a synergy. We decided on the activities we would do together on camera. And it seemed the possibilities were endless. She really is the person to know if you want to experience Flamenco in Sevilla. And Maria was so enthusiastic about introducing me to her world of Flamenco. There is much we filmed that did not make it into this video! I'll have to edit a second one that includes more from our classes, other flamenco dancers and a very special, impromptu jam session.

Here are the steps:
Step one:
First, put your transit clothes to the side. I've got jeans and a tank with a sweater. This outfit is comfy and versatile. Include a small purse, you'll use for the trip. And the jewelry you'll wear all weekend. This sweater will be my go to sweater any time I need warmth all weekend.
Step two:
Throw in your favorite pair of shorts and your favorite light jeans or capris. If your jeans or capris are already in your transit clothes throw in a pair of cropped leggings in case you want to work out.
Step Three:
Throw in your 2 favorite casual tops that can go on top of your jeans or shorts.
And throw in 1 favorite dressy top.
Step Four:
Pick your favorite sundress that you can wear during the day or during the night -- with or without your jeans or leggings.
Step Five:
One pair of your favorite PJ's appropriate to your lodging situation. Like, be prepared in case other ppl might be seeing you in your pj's.
Step Six:
Pack those extras in a baggy.
4 pairs underwear
2 bra's -- remember you'll also have your bra you are wearing in transit. Make sure to pack the right colors. You may want to include a sports bra for physical activity.
3 pairs socks -- Appropriate to shoes
1 bathing suit -
1 scarf/sarong -
Step Seven:
Toiletries in a baggy -- Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, face wash, face cream, makeup remover, toothbrush, toothpaste, basic makeup, brush.
Step Eight:
Pick your two to three pairs of shoes - no more than that!
1 pair of sandals
1 pair flats
1 pair heels or tennis shoes
Put one pair with your transit clothes. The other two go in your suitcase.
Pack it all up and you are DONE!!
So easy, right??

On my recent trip to Italy I was traveling with a group of other bloggers, learning all about the region of Gargano. Among my companions were fellow travel vloggers Cailin O'Neil of Travel Yourself and Rob Lloyd of Stop Having a Boring Life.
The three of us are undoubtedly kindred spirits - pursuing a lifestyle that allows us the freedom to travel the world on a regular basis. And we realized it might be time to team up on a few videos giving our travel tips.

In an earlier video, I got a lesson from a dialect coach on how to get an authentic Londoner accent. Before we got to the meat of the lesson we had a discussion about the definition of an English accent. Here's the video.
As my coach, Sarah Sheperd said, it's a real "bug barrier" or pet-peeve of the English when they hear people referring to an English accent thinking there is simply one accent. The fact of the matter is, there are many accents within London and throughout the UK that are quite diverse.

And, after familiarizing yourself with JRL even briefly, I promise you “normal” won’t be the first word to come to mind. "Pretentious" might be, but, frankly, Lee is fond of the word. In fact, he even named his own line of pocket squares “Pretentious Pocket,” as his own toast to the douchebags.
You might have seen him before, probably on social media, where his Internet presence encroaches upon the size of his ego. I mean, take a look at his Instagram; it's a storyboard for an Action Bronson verse. According to JRL, "If your life isn't a postcard, it's not worth the stamp.”
If you’re not familiar with his social media persona, then you may have seen him in the tabloids. He’s certainly no stranger to making news; in fact, a number of his celebrity spats have been publicized in the New York Times and New York Post.
Again, anything but normal.
In the words of JRL, “Normal is the ugliest word in the English language. Average is a close second.” For Lee, these words are synonymous with mediocrity, and those who simply accept mediocrity are schmucks – and fall in line to those who stand out. Literally speaking.
In this feature, Lee takes us to the airport, which doubles as his home office, and shows us a few “travel tips” in a way only JRL could -- with style, arrogance and, well, hilarity.
While these tips might seem to be superficial or petty, if you look a little deeper, the “line” at the airport can be seen as a microcosm of life. A lot of times, those who wait stay waiting – while, those with the ambition and persistence to seek alternate routes to get ahead usually do.

Tapas and Spain go together like baguettes and France. As promised here is my first episode from Sevilla, Spain chasing my passions and my storybook vacation with Expedia. In this video, a local, David Ciudad of the website Notjustatourist.com, showed me a couple of his most beloved restaurants in the Triana neighborhood of Sevilla.
Triana is a bustling part of town that is markedly different from the rest of the city. The concentration of historic architecture and manicured gardens found across the river in Sevilla are replaced here by a vibrant local scene. Triana has it's own festivals and is a hub of Flamenco culture. In fact, many who live in Triana identify as Trianeros rather than Sevillians.
Whether in Triana, in Sevilla-proper or Spain at large, I find that eating tapas is a really fun and social way to dine. Often in bars like we visited in the video you have the option to stay standing while eating or you can find a seat. Tapas are best enjoyed by sharing and trying as many tastes as you can. With all the flavors, I tend to feel more satisfied after a meal of tapas than if I do with regularly coursed meals. All that variety makes for a special experience.

What do you do on your first day in your destination when you are jet-lagged and exhausted? Rushing from one historical monument or tourist attraction to the next on that first day sounds no fun. And staying in the hotel room all day is a no-no! So what do we do?
In this video from Sevilla on my first full day in town, I was asking myself this very question. But lucky for me some cheerful locals came to my rescue. I met David, Javi, Anna and Jose-Antonio out for a typical, lazy, Sunday afternoon in Sevilla during the Spring. Turns out it was the perfect itinerary to distract me from my jet-lag and immerse me into local life.
In the video we get a glimpse into the neighborhood of Alameda de Hercules. This part of town has a cultural energy that is really special. Not long ago it was known as a rough neighborhood. But Sevilla has been going through a transformation over the last few decades and this area has been revived as a hub for dining, living and gathering.
Along the Alameda you can find locals enjoying themselves all day and all week long. During the weekend and holiday evenings the promenade is busy well into the night.
It seems all demographics, young to old, can be found here intermingling. And in this neighborhood, you will find few tourists in comparison to the Jewish Quarter. This means you'll get an authentic perspective on local life.
