So, here’s my question: What would those who identify as leftists do if one of their high profile icons were openly eliminated? For the sake of argument, let’s say the U.S. government (or one of its proxies) — with the full support of the corporate media — overtly silenced Bernie Sanders for his “political revolution” and recent anti-Wall Street rhetoric.
Technically, of course, it’s not all men…but when it’s impossible to differentiate between the predators and the allies, the safe choice in this culture is to see all men as guilty till proven innocent. When it’s rampant, global, increasing exponentially, and now recruits boys as young as 10, what value does saying “not all men” provide except offering less accountability for the phallocentric criminals?
Just when you think the Left (sic) couldn’t sink any lower…
It ain’t exactly The Breakfast Club, but imagine a classroom filled with 12 year old kids – seventh graders serving after-school detention – all of them eating snacks while staring at their phones. Let take a closer look at six of them, shall we?

I deeply relate to Cory’s quote above but to take things further, I wonder why any of us even bothers with the documenting.
Let’s say I’m on a NYC street corner as a pedestrian pushes past me – too harried to realize that she’s stepping directly into the path of an oncoming SUV. I reach out, grab hold of her jacket, and yank her back to safety…only to realize it was none other than Democratic frontrunner for the White House, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Islamic State terror, says Donald J. Trump, “is probably why I’m No. 1 in the polls.” His formula is frighteningly simple and frighteningly…well, frightening. “They’re chopping off our heads in the Middle East,” Trump ominously reminds us. “They want to kill us. They want to kill our country. They want to knock out our cities.” So, when faced with such an enemy, would the Republican frontrunner consider the nuclear option? “I don’t rule out anything,” he promised.
We can continue laughing and mocking and meme-ing. Or we could recognize this pattern for where it could lead us. Or we could ask the Japanese for a history lesson.
