Majali (Arabic: المجالي) is a prominent Bedouin East Jordanian family who have resided in the town of Al Karak since at least the 1770s. The Majali had emigrated to the city from Hebron. Family members ruled Al Karak for long periods and served both the Ottoman Turks and the Hashemite family that has ruled Jordan since 1921. They have occupied senior positions in the government and military.
Majali is a hamlet in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka. It is situated in a coastal region called Kanara. It is situated at the Goa-Karnataka border. Konkani and Kannada are spoken here.
A new year calls for an outing to a new place, where we have never been before, and this time it was a road trip to explore Karwar. Away from the hustle and bustle at the town of Karwar, we found Majali Beach using Google Maps, just about 12km away from Karwar. Contrary to the overcrowded beaches in the region (Goa included), this beautiful beach was quite devoid of any crowd, except for a couple of families and a group of noisy guys. Relax with the soothing sounds of the little waves as the sun sets in a fairly dramatic time lapse sequence, and a little look around the beach and the people there.
