Original Air Date: July 04th, 2009 Mad Gear on the Sega CD? Hell yeah! For a time, the Sega CD version was the best console version of Final Fight ever made and the game still holds up incredibly well to this day. This game has Guy, Cody and Haggar all in the same game and the inclusion of Poison and Roxy, not to mention excellent animation and an amazing soundtrack. This is what most would consider a must-have Sega CD game, so if you're gonna get this system and you love beat-em-ups, be sure to add it to your collection if you can find it. It's all the awesomeness of Final Fight on the Sega CD. Enjoy.

Here is a video from Final Fight CD for the Japanese Mega CD. The ending to the Japanese version is a bit longer than the US version. The scene where Cody and Guy have a quick talk about Jessica was edited out from the US Sega CD version....

Final Fight CD Stage One: Metro City Slums
Yep Octaneblue, I'm doing it. Despite the fact that Final Fight had many ports, this one is by far the most notable for a variety of reasons. The answer being that this one sticks closely to the arcade version of Final Fight. The only difference is that the remixed music which certainly gives some credit, a choice of three characters, a time attack mode, two players and all of the stages which really rocks. Let's get started with stage one of Final Fight CD... Metro City Slums.

This is also where Haggar, Cody, Guy, Poison, Sodom/Katana, Rolento, and Hugo all came from, so if you've played them in various Street Fighter or Vs. series games, this is where they originated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- There's more stuff on the links down here! FINAL FIGHT CD / Mega CD / Sega CD / Longplay
Final Fight (ファイナルファイト?) is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up game originally released by Capcom as a coin-operated video game in 1989. It was the seventh game released by Capcom for their CP System arcade game hardware. The player takes control of one of three vigilantes who must rescue a kidnapped young woman from a street gang. The game was originally conceived as a sequel to the original Street Fighter titled Street Fighter '89, but the title was changed before its release when the game's genre changed from a one-on-one competitive fighting game to a side-scrolling action game similar to Double Dragon or Golden Axe. Final Fight was ported to various platforms, such as the Super NES and Mega CD, since its original coin-op release. Final Fight was followed by a series of sequels that were produced primarily for the home console market, and some of the game's characters would reappear in later Street Fighter games.

Sega CD - Final Fight CD (Time Attack Mode)
Sega CD - Final Fight CD (Time Attack Mode)
The first Sega CD video I have ever made. Then again, it is the first video I have made on any Sega console. This is one of the best ports for Final Fight ever made. (Yes, the SNES port was terrible) This video shows only the time attack mode, where I play it 3 times, with all 3 characters. It's weird I do best with Haggar on this mode, even though he is my worst character when it comes to the actual game. This was played on the KEGA Fusion emulator. (I only own a Dreamcast out of all the Sega consoles)

Final Fight CD Stage Four: Industrial Area
Final Fight CD Stage Four: Industrial Area
This level was excluded entirely in the SNES ports of this game. Only in the Arcade and the Sega CD versions have this and we get to face off against a military bastard that is cheap with his grenades... I lost almost all my lives on this guy. Damn, he was a bitch to handle... here's Stage Four, the Industrial Area.

Improved graphics over the cart versions and feels a bit smoother to play. Also the music/sound is much better. This vid is much shorter than I wanted it to be because the battery in my camera went dead but, you can get the picture

Final Fight CD time attack run
Final Fight CD time attack run
A two player TA run to get the most kills possible in the time allowed. A very rusty one as the video reveals all too clearly(only about 75). If we manage a better one I'll replace this one. Kiken from Shmups.com playing as Haggar, myself as Cody.
