A robot goes on a quest to find his creator in the desert lands outside his city. Not built for the harsh environment outside his city, a robot takes his chances and braves the barren landscape in a desperate attempt to find his creator. With his knee joints slowly breaking down, it’s only a matter of time before his fate will be decided.

Director's Statement:
We Were Not Made For This World is part II of The Robot Scriptures -- a three-part short film series about the origin, evolution, and exodus of artificial intelligence. The idea for the series first came about when I was working for a very large tech company that was constantly considering the impending robot singularity. I began thinking about life from their point of view. The Robots that is. I thought, what happens when human beings die out and all that are left are the robot species? At that point, what would the robots know about their origin? Their creators? Their God? My hunch is, they would be asking many of the same questions we do about our own human origin -- some leaning toward spiritual answers, some scientific, some ridiculous. This film explores these questions.

Deep into a civil war between humans and android’s, the world is divided between those that believe androids with artificial intelligence (AI) deserve human rights, and those that believe otherwise. While most people are just trying to survive the war with their lives intact, Sam, an inexperienced engineer, is determined to save her partner, Dani, a noble human soldier who falls injured while fighting for AI android rights.
Desperate to bring Dani back to life, Sam manages to capture Dani’s soul before it has left their body and begins an experimental procedure that merges Dani’s soul with a malfunctioning android - X72. It is only through this act of outrageous political defiance that Sam will be able to preserve Dani’s consciousness.

In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

An astronaut orbiting the Earth ponders on the quietude of space, and begins to reminisce about his memories with his brother back on Earth. He revisits a particular day in his brother's life, where his dark past is unfolded through celestial imagery. As the story of his brother is told, we discover the terrible secrets of their lives. The truth is written in the stars, but what will we uncover?

Dust
Dust consists of particles in the atmosphere that come from various sources such as soil, dust lifted by weather (an aeolian process), volcanic eruptions, and pollution. Dust in homes, offices, and other human environments contains small amounts of plant pollen, human and animal hairs, textile fibers, paper fibers, minerals from outdoor soil, human skin cells, burnt meteorite particles, and many other materials which may be found in the local environment.
Domestic dust and humans
House dust mites are present indoors wherever humans live. Positive tests for dust mite allergies are extremely common among people with asthma. Dust mites are microscopic arachnids whose primary food is dead human skin cells, but they do not live on living people. They and their faeces and other allergens they produce are major constituents of house dust, but because they are so heavy they are not suspended for long in the air. They are generally found on the floor and other surfaces until disturbed (by walking, for example). It could take somewhere between twenty minutes and two hours for dust mites to settle back down out of the air.

Dust (Benjy Davis Project album)
Dust is Benjy Davis Project's third studio album. It was released on September 18, 2007. Benjy Davis Project was soon signed to Rock Ridge Music in August 2008, and re-released Dust on November 4, 2008. The new release was remixed and included three new songs. The song "Sweet Southern Moon" was featured in an advertisement campaign for Louisiana-based Abita Brewing Company.

The idea for the series first came about when I was working for a very large tech company that was constantly considering the impending robot singularity. I began thinking about life from their point of view. The Robots that is. I thought, what happens when human beings die out and all that are left are the robot species? At that point, what would the robots know about their origin? Their creators? Their God? My hunch is, they would be asking many of the same questions we do about our own human origin -- some leaning toward spiritual answers, some scientific, some ridiculous. This film explores these questions.

Deep into a civil war between humans and android’s, the world is divided between those that believe androids with artificial intelligence (AI) deserve human rights, and those that believe otherwise. While most people are just trying to survive the war with their lives intact, Sam, an inexperienced engineer, is determined to save her partner, Dani, a noble human soldier who falls injured while fighting for AI android rights.
Desperate to bring Dani back to life, Sam manages to capture Dani’s soul before it has left their body and begins an experimental procedure that merges Dani’s soul with a malfunctioning android - X72. It is only through this act of outrageous political defiance that Sam will be able to preserve Dani’s consciousness.

Director's Statement:
We Were Not Made For This World is part II of The Robot Scriptures -- a three-part short film series about the origin, evolution, and exodus of artificial intelligence. The idea for the series first came about when I was working for a very large tech company that was constantly considering the impending robot singularity. I began thinking about life from their point of view. The Robots that is. I thought, what happens when human beings die out and all that are left are the robot species? At that point, what would the robots know about their origin? Their creators? Their God? My hunch is, they would be asking many of the same questions we do about our own human origin -- some leaning toward spiritual answers, some scientific, some ridiculous. This film explores these questions.

Deep into a civil war between humans and android’s, the world is divided between those that believe androids with artificial intelligence (AI) deserve human rights, and those that believe otherwise. While most people are just trying to survive the war with their lives intact, Sam, an inexperienced engineer, is determined to save her partner, Dani, a noble human soldier who falls injured while fighting for AI android rights.
Desperate to bring Dani back to life, Sam manages to capture Dani’s soul before it has left their body and begins an experimental procedure that merges Dani’s soul with a malfunctioning android - X72. It is only through this act of outrageous political defiance that Sam will be able to preserve Dani’s consciousness.

In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed – ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Dust
Dust consists of particles in the atmosphere that come from various sources such as soil, dust lifted by weather (an aeolian process), volcanic eruptions, and pollution. Dust in homes, offices, and other human environments contains small amounts of plant pollen, human and animal hairs, textile fibers, paper fibers, minerals from outdoor soil, human skin cells, burnt meteorite particles, and many other materials which may be found in the local environment.
Domestic dust and humans
House dust mites are present indoors wherever humans live. Positive tests for dust mite allergies are extremely common among people with asthma. Dust mites are microscopic arachnids whose primary food is dead human skin cells, but they do not live on living people. They and their faeces and other allergens they produce are major constituents of house dust, but because they are so heavy they are not suspended for long in the air. They are generally found on the floor and other surfaces until disturbed (by walking, for example). It could take somewhere between twenty minutes and two hours for dust mites to settle back down out of the air.
