Posterous Install Guide
StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Posterous.
- Copy the StatCounter code.
- Log into your Posterous.com account (opens in a new window) with your username and password.
- You will see a list of "Your Spaces". Click on the icon next to the Posterous space on which you'd like to add StatCounter.
- Select "Customize" from the drop down list.
- Select "Advanced" and "Enable Advanced Theming".
- A box will open up similar to the one below. Select "OK".
- Your Posterous site code will open up in the window. Scroll down to the bottom of the site code. Install your previously generated StatCounter code directly before the < / body> tag.
- Select "Save I'm Done".
StatCounter is now active on your Posterous.com site and will immediately begin recording visitor information.
