Lyric Pieces (Norwegian: Lyriske stykker) is a collection of 66 short pieces for solo piano written by Edvard Grieg. They were published in 10 volumes, from 1867 (Op. 12) to 1901 (Op. 71). The collection includes several of his best known pieces, such as Wedding Day at Troldhaugen (Bryllupsdag på Troldhaugen), To Spring (Til våren), March of the Trolls (Trolltog), and Butterfly (Sommerfugl).
The theme of the first piece in the set, Arietta, was one of the composer's favorite melodies. He used it to complete the cycle in his very last lyric piece, Remembrances (Efterklang) — this time as a humorous waltz.
In 2002, Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes recorded a CD with 24 of the lyric pieces on Grieg's own 1892 Steinway grand piano at Troldhaugen, the composer's residence. Among other notable pianists to make recordings of the collection are Isabel Mourão – the Brazilian pianist was also the first to record the complete Lyric Pieces, Walter Gieseking, Sviatoslav Richter, Emil Gilels, Eva Knardahl, Andrei Gavrilov, Håkon Austbø, Einar Steen-Nøkleberg, Irina Mejoueva, Gerhard Oppitz, Stephen Hough, and Javier Perianes. A few recordings and piano rolls of Grieg himself performing also exist, and they have been published by the Norwegian record label Simax.

Mikhail Vasilievich Pletnev (Russian: Михаи́л Васи́льевич Плетнёв, Mikhail Vasil'evič Pletnëv; born 14 April 1957) is a Russian concert pianist, conductor, and composer.
Pletnev was born into a musical family in Arkhangelsk, then part of the Soviet Union. His father played and taught the bayan, and his mother was a pianist. He entered the Central School of Music at the age of 13, studying under Evgeny Timakin, and, in 1974, entered the Moscow Conservatory, studying under Yakov Flier and Lev Vlassenko. At age 21, he won the Gold Medal at the VI International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1978, which earned him international recognition and drew great attention worldwide. The following year he made his debut in the United States. He also taught at the Moscow Conservatory. Pletnev has acknowledged Sergei Rachmaninoff as a particularly notable influence on him as a musician.
In 1988, Pletnev was invited to perform at the superpower conference in Washington, D.C., where he met and befriended Mikhail Gorbachev. From this friendship, he gained the support to found two years later the Russian National Orchestra in 1990, the first non-government-supported orchestra in Russia since 1917, and became its first principal conductor. He and the orchestra made their recording debut on Virgin Classics, releasing Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony and Marche Slave in 1991. He stepped down as Principal Conductor in the late 1990s, but remained the orchestra's artistic director. Mikhail Pletnev was principal guest conductor of the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland from 2008 to 2010.
Pokémon (ポケモン, Pokemon, /ˈpoʊkeɪˌmɒn/ POH-kay-mon) is a media franchise owned by The Pokémon Company, and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995. It is centered on fictional creatures called "Pokémon", which humans known as Pokémon Trainers catch and train to battle each other for sport.
The franchise began as a pair of video games for the original Game Boy, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. The franchise now spans video games, trading card games, animated television shows and movies, comic books, and toys. Pokémon is the second-most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo's Mario franchise.
The franchise celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006. Cumulative sales of the video games (including home console games, such as Hey You, Pikachu! for the Nintendo 64) have reached more than 200 million copies. In November 2005, 4Kids Entertainment, which had managed the non-game related licensing of Pokémon, announced that it had agreed not to renew the Pokémon representation agreement. Pokémon USA Inc. (now The Pokémon Company International), a subsidiary of Japan's Pokémon Co., now oversees all Pokémon licensing outside of Asia. As of 2013, the Pokémon media franchise has grossed revenues of ¥4 trillion worldwide (equivalent to US$37.76 billion). The brand earned $2 billion in 2014 alone.

TELL ME, IS SHE EV'RYTHING I SEE
OR IS SHE REALLY NOT THE ONE FOR ME?
WE KNOW, AND THOUGH SOME MAY DISAGREE,
BUT DO THEY KNOW THE WAY WE WANT TO BE?
AND DO I STILL BELIEVE IN STORIES I'VE BEEN TOLD?
ARE ALL THE THINGS SHE BRINGS ME WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD?
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD,
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD.
BUILDING SOMETHING, ONE THING MADE TO LAST,
AND HOLDING SOMETHING SPECIAL FROM THE PAST.
AND DO I STILL BELIEVE IN STORIES WE'VE BEEN TOLD?
ARE ALL THE THINGS SHE BRINGS ME WORTH HER WEIGHT IN GOLD?
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD, (gotta believe me)
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD.
AND DO I STILL BELIEVE IN STORIES I'VE BEEN TOLD?
ARE ALL THE THINGS SHE BRINGS ME WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD?
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD,
OH YEAH, (oh yeah) PURE GOLD, (come on, over here, babe)
OH YEAH, PURE GOLD,
PURE GOLD, (pure gold) PURE GOLD,
EV'RYTHING SHE BRINGS ME IS
(Ev'rything she brings me is) PURE GOLD,
(Ev'rything she brings me is pure gold)
PURE GOLD, I SAID, PURE GOLD.
