Tony Douglas (born August 16, 1952 in Point Fortin, Trinidad) is a retired professional football (soccer) forward from Trinidad & Tobago. He spent his professional career in the United States, playing in the North American Soccer League, American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned seven caps, scoring one goal, with the Trinidad and Tobago national football team.
In 1974, Douglas signed with the Los Angeles Aztecs of the North American Soccer League. As the fifth shooter, he converted on the game winning penalty kick for the Aztecs in the 1974 NASL Championship Final. There was a bit of controversy on the play, as he actually missed on his first attempt. The referee however granted him a re-kick after judging Miami goalkeeper Osvaldo Toriani to have come off his line early. In 1976, the Aztecs traded Douglas to the San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for Laurie Calloway. The Earthquakes then sent him on loan to the Utah Golden Spikers of the American Soccer League. In 1977, he moved to the California Sunshine for two seasons. In 1978, he moved to the Cleveland Force for one season in the Major Indoor Soccer League.

Since I hadn't ever listened to a song of Tony's, I figured there was no time like the present to add one! From 1963-1982 he only managed to land 5 singles on the charts, 3 of them making the top 40. This wasn't one of them (#72 in 1976), but it's a great one nonetheless. From what I've read about him on his website, he's still active performing and recording today in his 80's. Couldn't find a picture of the single, so feel free to ogle a few of his album covers. Enjoy!

During the past decades owning a car got natural. More and more households today even own a second or even third car. However in the first years of the 21st century all players in the automotive-business experienced a lot of changes: CO2-restrictions required new technologies and disruptive new mobility-concepts like Uber as well as innovative car-sharing-concepts like DriveNow took care of a lot of movement in this economic sector. Tony Douglas, Head of Strategy, Marketing and Communications at BMW Group, talked about the exciting future of mobility in a Talk.48fwrd-Session on April 26th in Munich. My tentacles ache
This phantom pain is oh so confusing
I'm extraneous matter to the world
And so estranged
Look at me any way you want
My components are human and human and human and human
Strip me down to humanity
And cut me up into human and human and human and human
Into atoms of the fragile
I'm human I'm human I'm human
See I bleed red like you
What was that? Thought I heard you cuckoo
It may be I speak moron fluently
But you may be - if possible - even lamer than me
Yeah you could out-moron me anytime
We'll both stay with the mooncalves
Cause we're both aliens
Equally expendable
Equally valuable
So let's talk moron to moron
What's so great about being unique anyway?
