Keith Scott grew up in White Plains, New York, but his story really starts in Gainesville, Florida, where he attended college. It was in Gainesville where he met blues legends Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley. Scott would soon relocate to Chicago and begin his own career in the blues. In Chicago, he began hanging out at blues clubs and got to jam with the likes of Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, James Cotton and Little Milton. He would then begin touring with the Jimmy Dawkins blues band before starting his own solo career. He has traveled all over North America playing clubs and festivals. Scott is currently putting the finishing touches on a new album due out on May 16. You can check out Keith Scott in action in the nearby video.
