Rakesh Diwana Rakesh Diwana who plays a character og Maharaj Ji in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is said to have undergone a weight loss surgery but, due to some complications following a surgery passed away on 27th April, 2014. 7. Vivek Shauq Vivek Shauq was a noted actor, comedian, writer and singer. He died of a heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai. 8. Abir Goswami Abir Goswami who was starred in Kkusum and Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli died an untimely death due to a cardiac arrest in 2013. 9. Dilip Dhawan Dilip Dhawan who was best known for his role as Guru in the television serial Nukkad, Dhawan also acted in serials like Janam, Deewar and Tere Mere Sapne died due to heart attack. 10. Nafisa Joseph MTV VJ and model Nafisa Joseph committed suicide by hanging herself after her marriage to businessman Gautam Khanduja was called off.
