Microsoft Visual Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft. It is used to develop computer programs for Microsoft Windows, as well as web sites, web applications and web services. Visual Studio uses Microsoft software development platforms such as Windows API, Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Store and Microsoft Silverlight. It can produce both native code and managed code.
Visual Studio includes a code editor supporting IntelliSense (the code completion component) as well as code refactoring. The integrated debugger works both as a source-level debugger and a machine-level debugger. Other built-in tools include a forms designer for building GUI applications, web designer, class designer, and database schema designer. It accepts plug-ins that enhance the functionality at almost every level—including adding support for source-control systems (like Subversion) and adding new toolsets like editors and visual designers for domain-specific languages or toolsets for other aspects of the software development lifecycle (like the Team Foundation Server client: Team Explorer).
Visual Studio Code is an open source source code editor developed by Microsoft for Windows, Linux and OS X. It includes support for debugging, embedded Git control, syntax highlighting, intelligent code completion, snippets, and code refactoring. It is also customizable, so users can change the editor's theme, keyboard shortcuts, and preferences.
Visual Studio Code is based on Electron, a framework which is used to deploy Node.js applications for the desktop running on Blink layout engine. Although it also uses the Electron framework, the software is not a fork of Atom, and is actually based on Visual Studio Online's editor (codename "Monaco").
Visual Studio Code was announced, and a preview was released, on April 29, 2015 by Microsoft at the 2015 Build conference.
On November 18, 2015, Visual Studio Code was released under the MIT License and its source code posted to GitHub. Extension support was also announced.
Visual Studio Code is a source code editor that provides a sporadic set of features that have limited scope, as shown in the following table. Many of Visual Studio Code features are not exposed through menus or the user interface. Rather, they are accessed via a .json file (e.g., user preferences) or via the command palette (e.g., installing an extension). The command palette is a command-line interface. However, it disappears if the user clicks anywhere outside it or presses a key combination on the keyboard to interact with something outside it. This is true for time-taking commands as well. When this happens, the command in progress is canceled.
Step by step is a sequence of instructions demonstrating how to perform a task in a worked example.
Step by Step may also refer to:
In communications and information processing, code is a system of rules to convert information—such as a letter, word, sound, image, or gesture—into another form or representation, sometimes shortened or secret, for communication through a channel or storage in a medium. An early example is the invention of language, which enabled a person, through speech, to communicate what he or she saw, heard, felt, or thought to others. But speech limits the range of communication to the distance a voice can carry, and limits the audience to those present when the speech is uttered. The invention of writing, which converted spoken language into visual symbols, extended the range of communication across space and time.
The process of encoding converts information from a source into symbols for communication or storage. Decoding is the reverse process, converting code symbols back into a form that the recipient understands.
One reason for coding is to enable communication in places where ordinary plain language, spoken or written, is difficult or impossible. For example, semaphore, where the configuration of flags held by a signaller or the arms of a semaphore tower encodes parts of the message, typically individual letters and numbers. Another person standing a great distance away can interpret the flags and reproduce the words sent.
Sublime Text is a cross-platform source code editor with a Python application programming interface (API). It natively supports many programming languages and markup languages, and its functionality can be extended by users with plugins, typically community-built and maintained under free-software licenses.
The following is a list of features of Sublime Text:
Sublime Text 2.0.2, the current release, was released on 8 July 2013. Changes from the first version of the software as promoted by Skinner on the official Sublime blog include Retina display support and "Quick Skip Next" functionality."

With this extension, you can connect to SQL Server, Azure SQL Database and SQL Data Warehouses, create and manage connection profiles and most recently used connections, write T-SQL scripts with IntelliSense and Go to Definition, execute your scripts and view results in a simple to use grid, and save the result to json or csv file format and view in the editor.
