Czech graphic artist Adam Pizurny has created a disconcerting series of GIFs that depict a human head undergoing some all sorts of digital manipulation and deconstruction in such ways as dissolving, deflating, duplicating, expanding and even sprouting a bit. According to Pizurny, his inspiration came from a childhood love of art and a need to create.

When I was a kid, I wanted to become an inventor. I fulfilled my dream but in a slightly different way. Throughout my childhood I drew on paper until I discovered graffiti and fell in love with it. Graffiti has opened doors to a wonderful world of discovering type, colors and shapes. Because I grew up alongside a computer, I have started to combine everything I love digitally, and one day someone told me it is called graphic design.

DC All Access has released a cosplay music video that highlights some of the best DC Comics themed costumes at WonderCon 2016 in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Moet is a beautiful longhaired champagne-colored cat who went blind due to neglect. But neither her history nor her blindness has dampened her playful spirit. Rescued and adopted by the benevolent Dr. Emily Shotter, Moet now lives a really great life in Muscat, Oman with Emily, Luna, Lily and Cosmo. Moet is also a columnist, writing for The Daily Mews.

It’s now been more than a year since I was in my “forever home”. My mum is just the best and loves me lots (I think maybe I’m her favourite, which annoys sisfurs and brofur – two of whom arrived after me – mum rescued Lily from a tiny birdcage in a horrible local market and Cosmo came from another country where he was abandoned!). We are a happy family, but sometimes I have to tease Luna to play with me. I like to play a lot. Sometimes mum says I never sit still. But I do, I like sleeping too, because there are so many nice places to curl up – my mum’s bed, three cat trees (one of which is like a real tree) and two comfy sofas. My mum also has a nice balcony, which she says she made ‘safe’ by enclosing it. We are allowed to go out whenever we like!

The Backyard Scientist and Mark Rober recently teamed up to test the strength of oobleck (a combination of corn starch and water) and give viewers tips on surviving a grenade blast. The pair put oobleck through some extreme tests by attacking it with a chainsaw, bb gun, and a propane-powered golf ball canon to see if it would behave as a liquid or solid.

For their grenade video, they test whether a person would be safer from a grenade blast on land or under water using balloons filled with a combination of air and water to stand in for humans.

How It Should Have Ended has teamed up with Screen Junkies to make After Credits, a new animated series where they imagine what would happen if popular films were given after credits scenes. In episode four, they take visualize what an after credit in the film Interstellar would look like.
