Interstate 30 (I-30) is an Interstate Highway in the southern United States. While most interstate routes ending in zero are major cross country routes, I-30 is a comparatively short regional route serving only two states. I-30 runs from I-20 west of Fort Worth, Texas, northeast via Dallas, Texas, and Texarkana, Texas, to I-40 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The route parallels U.S. Route 67 (US 67) except for the portion west of downtown Dallas (which was once part of I-20). I-30 intersects with only two of the 10 major north–south Interstates (I-35W, I-35E and I-45) and also with the major Interstate routes I-20, and I-40. I-30 is known as the Tom Landry Freeway between I-35W and I-35E, within the core of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
I-30 is the shortest two-digit Interstate ending in zero in the Interstate system. The Interstates ending in 0 are generally the longest east–west Interstates. It is also the second shortest major Interstate (ending in 0 or 5), behind Interstate 45.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 (Russian language: Я́ковлев Як-3) was a World War II Soviet fighter aircraft. Robust and easy to maintain, it was much liked by pilots and ground crew alike. It was one of the smallest and lightest major combat fighters fielded by any combatant during the war, and its high power-to-weight ratio gave it excellent performance. It proved a formidable dogfighter. Marcel Albert, World War II French ace, who flew the Yak in USSR with the Normandie-Niémen Group, considered it a superior aircraft to the P-51D Mustang and the Supermarine Spitfire. After the war ended, it flew with the Yugoslav and Polish Air Forces.
The origins of the Yak-3 went back to 1941 when the I-30 prototype was offered along with the I-26 (Yak-1) as an alternative design. The I-30, powered by a Klimov M-105P engine, was of all-metal construction, using a wing with dihedral on the outer panels. Like the early Yak-1, it had a 20 mm ShVAK cannon firing through the hollow-driveshaft nose spinner as a motornaya pushka, and twin 7.62 mm synchronized ShKAS machine guns in cowl mounts ahead of the cockpit on the fuselage, but was also fitted with a ShVAK cannon in each wing. The first of two prototypes was fitted with a slatted wing to improve handling and short-field performance while the second prototype had a wooden wing without slats, in order to simplify production. The second prototype crashed during flight tests and was written off. Although there were plans to put the Yak-3 into production, the scarcity of aviation aluminum and the pressure of the Nazi invasion led to work on the first Yak-3 being abandoned in late fall 1941.
"Dirty" 30 is the shortest X0 Interstate, but still serves an important corridor with a lot of clean skyline views. Control City Freak is updated weekly and covers every two digit Interstate Highway in America. I'll be showing control city signs on each 1 and 2 digit (2di) Interstate Highway in the continental United States and will strive to make as complete a record as possible. I'll also be getting into the roadgeek weeds here and there, showing downtown skylines and state border crossings, and making corny jokes. I welcome all to join my geeky tour of every primary Interstate in the country! All images of roads and signs come from Google Street View unless otherwise specified. Follows I-30 East from its beginning west of Fort Worth eastbound to US-75 North in Downtown Dallas and up to the High Five Interchange. All music and equipment FAQ's are in the closing credits.
Interstate 30 is an east-west freeway serving eastern Texas and southern Arkansas, connecting the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with Texarkana and Little Rock.
Proposed improvements would increase safety, connectivity and mobility on I-30 from Cooper Street to SH 161 in Arlington. This includes a new direct connect I-30/SH 360 interchange.

[Verse 1]:
Livin' the life in the quick lane
Only the strong can survive
These streets'll swallow you up man
and eat you alive
Cain't be no poodle
Run tuck yo tail and hide
They'll spaghetti yo noodle man
Element of Surprise
It's goin' around man!
Death in the air
Better not be scared
Cause ay-henas can smell fear
It's not a lot of love but it's a whole lot of hate
Beware of your surroundings
They starving, they ain't
The lake of fire awaits for those with no souls
Hot like a stove
Hotter than hot coals
That's the thought processer of soil soldier
6's on the note and postholer, spinach and yola
I'm talking realer dope money this hustla making
(E-40)
[Hook]:
I'm deep off in this game
Wherever money and I get to it (whatchu living?)
In the fast lane [x8]
[Verse 2]:
Looking up with greenbacks on your mind is a good sign
My name ringing like a high school bell, like a church chime
This ain't chameleon, but go get a glass of wine
Listen to me preach my rhyme, sit back and recline
I'm too real to be unreal to truthful to be fake
Daddy and mommy when they separate ways when I was eight
But it made me great, more stronger and God willing
A few years later, I'm worth a few million
Top billion, killin em with my independent grip
Got rid of my digital scale and started making hits
Flipping all kind of whips visits cutlass and Lexus's
Me and the Clickers St. Charles, God was blessing us
Successfulness, all praises due to Allah
Jesus Jehovah the most highest almighty God
Reverend Therman them other Therman I miss you much
I know you up in heaven watching over us
Get back and help people that's what they taught me to do
Can't save the world but I can help save a few
People talk behind my back laugh and smiled all in my face
Saying my voice was too squeaky and my style was a disgrace[Hook]
