Menschen am Sonntag - ganze film - People On Sunday 1930 (public domain)
This public domain movie is a classic example of film noir and one of my favorite movies. In it, a guy is poisoned by radiation poisoning put in his drink, and he knows he is going to die, but in with his remaining time he dedicates himself to discovering who killed him, and why.
It wasn't on YouTube yet so I thought I'd put it up. Orchard-L, author of Boundless Ocean, Missing, and who is helping me make Saturated Dreamers, recommended the movie to me.

Pleasures of the living flesh verses the rantings of fanatical religious preachings are aptly displayed in this screen adaptation of W. Somerset Maugham's story Miss Sadie Thompson. Sadie Thompson (Joan Crawford) is a sassy prostitute who lands in Pago Pago in the South Pacific after an epidemic grounds the ship on which she's booked passage. Sadie's good looks, free spirit, and quick wit soon attract the attention of a group of American soldiers stationed on the island; while most are motivated by simple lust, the naive Sgt. O'Hara (William Gargan) falls in love with Sadie, thoroughly unaware of her checkered past and real profession. Rev. Alfred Davidson (Walter Huston father of actor director John Huston), a fire-and-brimstone pompous preacher bent on bringing salvation to the soldiers, is quickly onto Sadie's occupation and ways, and is determined to convince her to change her ways. Sadie slowly but surely is softened by Davidson's conviction, but the preacher soon finds himself all too human and is turned on himself by her sensual presence; O'Hara also learns the truth about Sadie, but hatches his own plan to "reform" her -- marriage. • Filmed on Catalina Island off the coast of California.
• This was Joan's first film made on loan-out to a studio other than MGM.
• Other famous "Sadie Thompson"s: Jeanne Eagels (1922, stage); Gloria Swanson (1928 silent film); 1935 (Tallulah Bankhead, stage); Rita Hayworth (1953 film). Carroll Baker appeared in a 1970 TV version.
• Screenwriter Maxwell Anderson also wrote a radio play that Joan appeared in later in the 1930s: "Mary of Scotland" for the Lux Radio Theater.
• Joan's fellow cast members were cool to her during filming. Walter Catlett went so far as to tell her, "Listen, fishcake, when Jeanne Eagels died, Rain died with her." (JCB)
• While filming on Catalina Island, Joan usually stayed in her cottage evenings, playing Bing Crosby records over and over, to the annoyance of her fellow cast and crew. (JCB)
• Joan's marriage to first husband Doug Fairbanks, Jr., was on the rocks during filming. She often refused to take his calls and was short with him when he sailed out for a visit, claiming he was ruining her concentration. She went into seclusion after the film wrapped in the summer of '32, and a belated honeymoon trip to Europe proved fruitless. The couple were officially divorced 7 months after Rain's release.
• Joan discovered she was pregnant during filming and told Fairbanks that she had slipped on the deck of a ship while shooting, losing the baby.
Rain (1932) is a film that all reliable and government sources prove the U.S.A. made and produced film is in the public domain as its copyright lapsed and was not renewed more than 50 years ago. 90 Day Wondering (1956) United States Army/Warner Bros. Directed by seasoned Warner Bros. animator Chuck Jones and featuring the voice of Mel Blanc, we see young soldier Ralph Phillips re-entering the civilian world and puzzling over reenlisting.
Two spritely characters, Pete and Re-Pete, try to sway his decision. Since this was produced for the U.S. Army, we can guess which argument comes out on top. The character Ralph Phillips shows up as a hyper-imaginative kid in other Warner Bros. cartoons in Boyhood Daze and From A to Z-Z-Z-Z. He also appears as a young adult facing the draft in Drafty, Isn't It?

TRISTEN GASPADAREK (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Tristen (Born Tristen Gaspadarek, 1983) is an American musician and songwriter. She grew up in Lansing, IL, a blue collar suburb of Chicago, where at the age of 8, her musician father encouraged her to take up the piano. Growing up with access to her father's modest home studio, Tristen was able to experiment with songwriting and recording from a young age. Initially inspired by the local Oldies station 104.3 and The Beatles she began writing her own songs. It was not long before she picked up the guitar and started performing her original material in local coffeehouses. After graduating from De Paul University in 2007, where she studied relational group and organizational theories of communication, she moved to Nashville, TN to focus on her music. Immersing herself in the burgeoning Nashville indie scene, she began recording songs on a $200 Mbox Mini and posting them to MySpace. When she had an album's worth of her home recordings, she self-released them as the record Teardrops & Lollipops, packaging CDs in handsewn sleeves she would sell at shows.
In February 2011 she released her label debut Charlatans At The Garden Gate to critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone magazine praising the record for its "catchy refrains with multiple meanings," and "ear-tugging melodies with hidden hooks."[2] The album was also recognized favorably by NPR,[3] Spin Magazine,[4] The Onion AV Club,[5] and Paste Magazine[6] among many others. At the close of 2011 her record Charlatans At The Garden Gate was cited in many year end lists including American Songwriter Magazine's "Top 50 Albums Of 2011."[7] "Charlatans At The Garden Gate" was also honored by Nashville Alt-Weekly the Nashville Scene as the "Top Local Album of 2011"[8]
Since the release of Charlatans At The Garden Gate Tristen has extensively toured North America with artists including The Elected, Justin Townes Earle, Ezra Furman and the Harpoons as well as other indie bands. She also made her debut at many summer festivals in both the United States and Canada including Bonnaroo where she was named by both Spin and American Songwriter as an "Artist To Watch" at the festival. "Baby Drugs" was featured on the HBO television series "Enlightened" and MTV's reality TV show "Teen Mom".
On March 4, 2013 Tristen reached her goal on Kickstarter to support the release of her new album C A V E S. Backers received downloads, CDs, vinyl, limited edition items such as quilted record covers, quilts, valentines, personally recorded songs and a Tristen House Party.[9] C A V E S was released in October 2013.
Tristen released her second LP, C A V E S, in October 2013. C A V E S was recorded partly in Nashville by Battletapes engineer, Jeremy Ferguson, part in Omaha with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M Ward) and was mixed by synth-pop pioneer Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys).[10] Just like her previous album, Charlatans at the Garden Gate, C A V E S was named "Best Local Album of 2013".[11] by the Nashville Scene Critic's Poll and in the "Top 50 Albums of 2013" by American Songwriter.[12] SPIN Magazine claimed that the new sound of C A V E S had recast the songwriter as "a synth pop siren" [13]

Charlie pretends to be a dentist though he is only his assistant. When a patient can't stop laughing from the anesthesia Charlie knocks him out with a club. He is sent to the drug store, gets in a fight with a man who (after a brick in the face) becomes another patient, and pulls the skirt off the dentist's wife (who is out walking). At one point Charlie pulls a tooth (the wrong one) using enormous pliers. Classic Comedy TV Show, Silent film Classic Movie from before the Roaring 20's. watch tv shows for free. This is a retro TV Comedy.

Public Domain is a 2003 Canadian film about reality TV. It was directed by Kris Lefcoe and stars Nicole de Boer, Mike Beaver, Lindy Booth and Dov Tiefenbach. The film is openly critical of reality TV and portrays the hosts and producers as cruel and heartless people. While it was considered a 'feature' film, it has toured film festivals more than it has been screened in cinemas.
Public Domain is a reality TV game show in which the producers infiltrate the contestants' homes without their knowledge and place them under surveillance for the world to see. In a Big Brother-style twist, viewers vote for who they think is the funniest and most dysfunctional contestant, and the top three based on these votes are chosen as the finalists.
Public Domain received mostly positive reviews, although many critics did not choose to review the movie. For example, the movie scored 57% at Rotten Tomatoes but only received seven reviews. Dennis Harvey from Variety did not give the movie a score, however the text of the review was borderline positive.

Sadie Thompson (Joan Crawford) is a sassy prostitute who lands in Pago Pago in the South Pacific after an epidemic grounds the ship on which she's booked passage. Sadie's good looks, free spirit, and quick wit soon attract the attention of a group of American soldiers stationed on the island; while most are motivated by simple lust, the naive Sgt. O'Hara (William Gargan) falls in love with Sadie, thoroughly unaware of her checkered past and real profession. Rev. Alfred Davidson (Walter Huston father of actor director John Huston), a fire-and-brimstone pompous preacher bent on bringing salvation to the soldiers, is quickly onto Sadie's occupation and ways, and is determined to convince her to change her ways. Sadie slowly but surely is softened by Davidson's conviction, but the preacher soon finds himself all too human and is turned on himself by her sensual presence; O'Hara also learns the truth about Sadie, but hatches his own plan to "reform" her -- marriage. Tristen (Born Tristen Gaspadarek, 1983) is an American musician and songwriter. She grew up in Lansing, IL, a blue collar suburb of Chicago, where at the age of 8, her musician father encouraged her to take up the piano. Growing up with access to her father's modest home studio, Tristen was able to experiment with songwriting and recording from a young age. Initially inspired by the local Oldies station 104.3 and The Beatles she began writing her own songs. It was not long before she picked up the guitar and started performing her original material in local coffeehouses. After graduating from De Paul University in 2007, where she studied relational group and organizational theories of communication, she moved to Nashville, TN to focus on her music. Immersing herself in the burgeoning Nashville indie scene, she began recording songs on a $200 Mbox Mini and posting them to MySpace. When she had an album's worth of her home recordings, she self-released them as the record Teardrops & Lollipops, packaging CDs in handsewn sleeves she would sell at shows.
In February 2011 she released her label debut Charlatans At The Garden Gate to critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone magazine praising the record for its "catchy refrains with multiple meanings," and "ear-tugging melodies with hidden hooks."[2] The album was also recognized favorably by NPR,[3] Spin Magazine,[4] The Onion AV Club,[5] and Paste Magazine[6] among many others. At the close of 2011 her record Charlatans At The Garden Gate was cited in many year end lists including American Songwriter Magazine's "Top 50 Albums Of 2011."[7] "Charlatans At The Garden Gate" was also honored by Nashville Alt-Weekly the Nashville Scene as the "Top Local Album of 2011"[8]
Since the release of Charlatans At The Garden Gate Tristen has extensively toured North America with artists including The Elected, Justin Townes Earle, Ezra Furman and the Harpoons as well as other indie bands. She also made her debut at many summer festivals in both the United States and Canada including Bonnaroo where she was named by both Spin and American Songwriter as an "Artist To Watch" at the festival. "Baby Drugs" was featured on the HBO television series "Enlightened" and MTV's reality TV show "Teen Mom".
On March 4, 2013 Tristen reached her goal on Kickstarter to support the release of her new album C A V E S. Backers received downloads, CDs, vinyl, limited edition items such as quilted record covers, quilts, valentines, personally recorded songs and a Tristen House Party.[9] C A V E S was released in October 2013.
Tristen released her second LP, C A V E S, in October 2013. C A V E S was recorded partly in Nashville by Battletapes engineer, Jeremy Ferguson, part in Omaha with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M Ward) and was mixed by synth-pop pioneer Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys).[10] Just like her previous album, Charlatans at the Garden Gate, C A V E S was named "Best Local Album of 2013".[11] by the Nashville Scene Critic's Poll and in the "Top 50 Albums of 2013" by American Songwriter.[12] SPIN Magazine claimed that the new sound of C A V E S had recast the songwriter as "a synth pop siren" [13]

TRISTEN GASPADAREK (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Tristen (Born Tristen Gaspadarek, 1983) is an American musician and songwriter. She grew up in Lansing, IL, a blue collar suburb of Chicago, where at the age of 8, her musician father encouraged her to take up the piano. Growing up with access to her father's modest home studio, Tristen was able to experiment with songwriting and recording from a young age. Initially inspired by the local Oldies station 104.3 and The Beatles she began writing her own songs. It was not long before she picked up the guitar and started performing her original material in local coffeehouses. After graduating from De Paul University in 2007, where she studied relational group and organizational theories of communication, she moved to Nashville, TN to focus on her music. Immersing herself in the burgeoning Nashville indie scene, she began recording songs on a $200 Mbox Mini and posting them to MySpace. When she had an album's worth of her home recordings, she self-released them as the record Teardrops & Lollipops, packaging CDs in handsewn sleeves she would sell at shows.
In February 2011 she released her label debut Charlatans At The Garden Gate to critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone magazine praising the record for its "catchy refrains with multiple meanings," and "ear-tugging melodies with hidden hooks."[2] The album was also recognized favorably by NPR,[3] Spin Magazine,[4] The Onion AV Club,[5] and Paste Magazine[6] among many others. At the close of 2011 her record Charlatans At The Garden Gate was cited in many year end lists including American Songwriter Magazine's "Top 50 Albums Of 2011."[7] "Charlatans At The Garden Gate" was also honored by Nashville Alt-Weekly the Nashville Scene as the "Top Local Album of 2011"[8]
Since the release of Charlatans At The Garden Gate Tristen has extensively toured North America with artists including The Elected, Justin Townes Earle, Ezra Furman and the Harpoons as well as other indie bands. She also made her debut at many summer festivals in both the United States and Canada including Bonnaroo where she was named by both Spin and American Songwriter as an "Artist To Watch" at the festival. "Baby Drugs" was featured on the HBO television series "Enlightened" and MTV's reality TV show "Teen Mom".
On March 4, 2013 Tristen reached her goal on Kickstarter to support the release of her new album C A V E S. Backers received downloads, CDs, vinyl, limited edition items such as quilted record covers, quilts, valentines, personally recorded songs and a Tristen House Party.[9] C A V E S was released in October 2013.
Tristen released her second LP, C A V E S, in October 2013. C A V E S was recorded partly in Nashville by Battletapes engineer, Jeremy Ferguson, part in Omaha with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M Ward) and was mixed by synth-pop pioneer Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys).[10] Just like her previous album, Charlatans at the Garden Gate, C A V E S was named "Best Local Album of 2013".[11] by the Nashville Scene Critic's Poll and in the "Top 50 Albums of 2013" by American Songwriter.[12] SPIN Magazine claimed that the new sound of C A V E S had recast the songwriter as "a synth pop siren" [13]

5- In the "House on Haunted Hill" (1959), a millionaire has invited 5 guests to his haunted mansion and anyone who can survive the night, gets a reward of 10,000 dollars. ENGINEERED FOR THE STREETS | SINCE 1984 | NEVER COMPLY In June of 1988, Stacy Peralta and Craig Stecyk arrived at Wildberry Court in Edison, NJ to film me for Bones Brigade Video Four: Public Domain. They carried with them the very first samples of my first ever Pro-Model skateboard, which I would be seeing, holding in my hands and riding for the first time. For the next 2.5 days we would film in New Jersey, New York and Washington DC. This footage is basically a long-form version of my part in Public Domain, gently edited down by Mark Nisbet. The character of Charlie Chan was created by author Earl Derr Biggers, who wrote several mystery novels featuring the character. Biggers based Charlie Chan in part on a Honolulu police officer named Chang Apana. Both the character of Charlie Chan and the real-life Chang Apana worked in Honululu and were accomplished, respected police officers of Chinese descent, but the similarities seem to end there. The first screen appearances of Charlie Chan were in silent serials and the character also had a small role in the 1929 early talkie "Behind That Curtain." In 1931, Fox studios cast Warner Oland as Charlie Chan, who had previous experience playing Asian roles. For the most part, Warner Oland played Chan as a soft-spoken, polite detective, an aspect that was noticeably different from Earl Der... -

The first screen appearances of Charlie Chan were in silent serials and the character also had a small role in the 1929 early talkie "Behind That Curtain."
In 1931, Fox studios cast Warner Oland as Charlie Chan, who had previous experience playing Asian roles. For the most part, Warner Oland played Chan as a soft-spoken, polite detective, an aspect that was noticeably different from Earl Derr Biggers' original, more assertive Charlie Chan. However, Chan's wise proverbs and powers of deduction remained much the same in the films as they were in the novels. Warner Oland had a very successful run as Charlie Chan from 1931-37, and starred in perhaps the most acclaimed Chan film, "Charlie Chan at the Opera," co-starring Boris Karloff. 48:29 - Using the special code. It reveals the whole map, unlocks all doors, gives you unlimited time and health/energy (probably lives too, but can't die so don't know... so probably not... why would they even bother doing that if you can't die anyway?... yeee.. rambling).
This game is pretty much made for A500 CPU speed as the intro doesn't play the sound properly (same in a few other places) with A1200 CPU speed. But, the game runs very slow with A500 speed on both the isometric and shooting parts. So, I'm playing with A1200 speed during the levels (most of them and most of the time anyway. Will explain in the next paragraph), but A500 during cutscene-stuff.
The first "PROTECT THE INNOCENT" part is played with A500 speed, as it's a bit easier then, doesn't move as fast. The second one is played with A1200. Much nicer now, but a bit harder. The third is A500 again. Did this so you can see the speed differences between A500 and A1200 (it's emulated so might not be accurate to the real thing). 48:29 - Using the special code. It reveals the whole map, unlocks all doors, gives you unlimited time and health/energy (probably lives too, but can't die so don't know... so probably not... why would they even bother doing that if you can't die anyway?... yeee.. rambling).
This game is pretty much made for A500 CPU speed as the intro doesn't play the sound properly (same in a few other places) with A1200 CPU speed. But, the game runs very slow with A500 speed on both the isometric and shooting parts. So, I'm playing with A1200 speed during the levels (most of them and most of the time anyway. Will explain in the next paragraph), but A500 during cutscene-stuff.
The first "PROTECT THE INNOCENT" part is played with A500 speed, as it's a bit easier then, doesn't move as fast. The second one is played with A1200. Much nicer now, but a bit harder. The third is A500 again. Did this so you can see the speed differences between A500 and A1200 (it's emulated so might not be accurate to the real thing).
