Defining Omnipotence: The Omnibenevolence Problem
How can we best define omnipotence and is it reasonable to define omnipotence in ways that leave open other, equally logical, definitions that allow for a larger scope of action? The YT'er Theophage mentioned in the video www.youtube.com His video introducing 'McNothing' "Problems with Omnipotence" www.youtube.com PS: Another issue with defining omnipotent as 'able to do anything that is compatible with its other attributes', also requires an arbitrary order of precedence to be put in place. In other words, why should we expect omnipotence to be curtailed by the requirement to remain consistent with omnibenevolence rather than omnibenevolence to be curtailed by the requirement to remain consistent with omnipotence? In other words, rather than omnibenevolence ruling out actions that would otherwise be logically compatible with omnipotence, why should we not equally expect omnipotence to rule IN actions that would otherwise be incompatible with omnibenevolence? I may make a seperate video on this issue at a later date.

Questions for Rational Dawn on Suffering and Omnibenevolence
This is primarily a video aimed at Rational Dawn with a view to clarifying a few issues regarding Omnibenevolence (and thereby the status of suffering, evil (acts and people) and other related issues) This video is primarily a series of questions. These are the three main questions: 1) Do you have any evidence for God's Omnibenevolence? (Included here is a sub-question regarding arguments for Gods' Omnimalevolence to help put the main question into perspective). 2) How much more suffering would you expect to see if God was NOT Omnibenevolent and can you give me some examples? Note: Many people, such as myself, find it hard to envisage how things would be any different with a disinterested God (or, ofc, no God at all!) hence this is a potentially very enlightening question because one would expect Omnibenevolence to have significant manifestations, especially when allied with omnipotence (especially given, for example, the obvious and apparent contribution of Bob Geldof (an irreligious man, of limited benevolence and potency) who seemingly is more detectable in his benevolence than God). 3)The main question: Can you give me ONE act, or act of omission, which, if carried out by God, would contradict and in doing so falsify, His purported omnibenevolence? ....in other words, theists wave away with their hands evil acts; natural disasters; cancer; cursing and punishing us all for the sins of Adam; condemning sentient beings to eternal suffering for seemingly trivial ...

Omnibenevolence & Hell
Omnibenevolence and Hell: Since every action in our universe is predetermined through causation, it would be immoral for God to cast anyone into Hell. Let me explain: Causation, or cause and effect, exists within our universe. It means that every action is a cause of another action or actions, and every action is also an effect of other actions predating itself. This means that all actions within our universe are caused by something else. Actions are influenced into existence, and therefore, all actions within this universe are predetermined through this causation. Therefore, everyone that performs an action is doing so because they were influenced into doing so. Everyone is powerless and innocent of all actions performed, because every action is predetermined to occur. I am not saying that we should treat every person as being innocent of all actions and crimes committed. It is important in society to correct wrong doings by holding people responsible for their actions. But logically, everyone is powerless and innocent of all actions. Now, if God and Hell exist, you can see that it would be immoral for God to cast anyone into Hell, since everyone is innocent of all actions performed. Here is something important to consider: Prison, or any type of punishment, is designed to correct misbehavior, in hopes of returning the wrong doer back into society. If Hell exists purely for the purpose of punishing wrong doers for eternity, with no plans on returning them back into some ...

Ominpotence and Omnibenevolence - Incompatible with Reality. (Milder Version)
There are only two major possibilities that one can draw from this: -God is NOT omnipotent -God is NOT benevolent The latter is far worse. This is the milder version of my previous video - which will be left online. This is to allow younger viewers to hear the same argument against omnipotence and omnibenevolence.

Definition does not compute... Please revise...
First off, Scope disclaimer: Let me say I'm not saying this disproves any god. Just the God Veritas48 describes as omnipotent, omniscient, AND omnibenevolent. I am inviting him to reassess his definition because this one is a square circle in reality logic land. For taxonomy of belief, watch this one first: www.youtube.com This is a reply to Veritas48's video "Re: Negative Atheism - A Defense" and his assertion circa 13:30 about logical incoherence. I attempt to show how Veritas48's specific assertion that god is omnipotent, omniscient, And omnibenevolent, is inherently incoherent with reality.

Christianity has no free will.
God : the supernatural being that is the perfect and omnipotent omniscient omnibenevolent originator and ruler of the universe : the object of worship in monotheistic religions(Christianity, Judaism and Islam) Omniscience: the quality or state of being omniscient Omniscient : having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight : possessed of universal or complete knowledge Omnipotence: the quality or state of being omnipotent : an agency or force of unlimited power Omnipotent : Almighty : having virtually unlimited authority or influence Omnibenevolent: unlimited or infinite benevolence Benevolence:: disposition to do good : an act of kindness : a generous gift Premise 1) God must have omniscience to be God. Premise 2) God must have omnipotentence to be God. Premise 3) God must have omnibenevolence to be God. Premise 4) God gives free will to all humans. Premise 5) Free will is not possible if God knows what we will do before we do it. Premise 6) God does not have free will if he knows what he will do before he does it. Premise 7) If God can't do anything other than what he knows he will do in the future, then God is impotent. Premise 8) If God has the power to do anything other than what he knew he would do, then God is not omniscient. Premise 9) If God is unable to change his future, then God cannot be omnibenevolent. Conclusion 1) God cannot be both omniscient and omnipotent. Therefore God does not exist. Conclusion 2) God cannot be omnibenevolent and omniscient ...
