HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "death_cause" is not recognized
Paul Charles Caravello (July 12, 1950 – November 24, 1991) better known by his stage name Eric Carr, was an American musician who was the drummer for the rock band Kiss from 1980 to 1991. Caravello was selected as the new Kiss drummer after Peter Criss left, when he chose the stage name "Eric Carr" and took up the "Fox" persona. He remained a member of Kiss until his death from heart cancer on November 24, 1991, at the age of 41.
Carr was born as Paul Charles Caravello on July 12, 1950, to Albert and Connie Caravello. He was born and grew up in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn in New York City. Because his father worked most of the time, Carr didn't see that much of him, and "never went to a baseball game or that kind of stuff" with his father. He spent a lot of time alone in his room, playing with toy soldiers and toy monsters.
Caravello attended the High School of Art and Design. He planned at first to be a cartoonist, then changed his mind quickly thereafter and decided to study photography. According to him, he ended up wasting "absolutely every day of high school. I got no work done, did nothing to further my career, wasted time, and wound up getting drunk in the darkroom with my friends all the time. We never got caught because we could see through the one-way glass whenever a teacher would come. It wasn't like I was getting drunk every day, you know. Half a cup of vodka in those days was enough to get you drunk." However, he has described himself as overall "a real good kid. I didn't do anything to make trouble."
George Peter John Criscuola (born December 20, 1945), better known as Peter Criss, is an American musician and actor, best known as a co-founder, the original drummer, and an occasional vocalist of the hard rock band Kiss. Criss established the "Catman" character for his Kiss persona.
George Peter John Criscuola is the oldest of the five children to parents Joseph and Loretta Criscuola; his father's family came from Scafati, Salerno, Italy. He grew up in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. He was a childhood friend of Jerry Nolan, who would later find success as the drummer for the New York Dolls.
He was an avid art student and a swing aficionado. While playing with bandleader Joey Greco, Criss ended up studying under his idol, Gene Krupa, at the Metropole Club in New York. This turned into an active musical career as he went on to play jazz and rock with a number of bands in New York and New Jersey throughout the 1960s.
Criss was involved with a number of bands throughout the mid-to-late 1960s. It was during this time that Criss joined Chelsea, who had a two-album deal with Decca Records; the group released a self-titled album in 1970. They never recorded a second album, and in August 1971 became Lips (a trio consisting of Criss and his Chelsea bandmates Michael Benvenga and Stan Penridge). By the spring of 1972, Lips was just the duo of Criss and Penridge.
Eric Singer (born Eric Doyle Mensinger; May 12, 1958) is an American hard rock and heavy metal drummer, best known as a member of Kiss, The Catman. He has also performed with artists such as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, Badlands, and Gary Moore as well as his own band ESP. In his career, Singer has appeared on over 75 albums and 11 EPs.
Singer was born Eric Doyle Mensinger in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Euclid, Ohio. His father, Johnny Mensinger, was of German descent and was a local big band leader who played around the area as well as on cruise ships from the States to Europe and back. Young Eric began playing drums from an early age, and was inspired by bands such as Humble Pie, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles and Queen and drummers such as John Bonham, Keith Moon, Cozy Powell, Roger Taylor, Bill Ward, and Buddy Rich.
Eric worked at King Musical instruments before going pro.
Singer's first professional drumming job was as Lita Ford's touring drummer in 1984. In 1985 he joined Black Sabbath, replacing original drummer Bill Ward, who had left the band after the Live Aid reunion. Singer would participate in the recording of the albums Seventh Star and The Eternal Idol and was invited by his Black Sabbath colleague Ray Gillen to join the latter's new formed band Badlands. Singer accepted and played on the band's self-titled debut album. Singer left the group in 1989 as he would join Paul Stanley as his touring drummer on his solo tour of the United States and Canada. Singer played with Olivia Newton-John in the music video for "Culture Shock". He later revealed in an interview that he obtained that gig because he was working for Lita Ford at the time.
The given name Eric, Erik, or Erick is derived from the Old Norse name Eiríkr (or Eríkr in Eastern Scandinavia due to monophthongization). The first element, ei- is derived either from the older Proto-Norse *aina(z) meaning "one" or "alone" or from Proto-Norse *aiwa(z) meaning "ever" or "eternal". The second element -ríkr derives either from *rík(a)z meaning "ruler" or "prince" (cf. Gothic reiks) or from an even older Proto-Germanic *ríkiaz which meant "powerful" and "rich". The name is thus usually taken to mean "one ruler", "autocrat", "eternal ruler" or "ever powerful", "warrior", and "government".
The most common spelling in Scandinavia is Erik. In Norway, another form of the name (which has kept the Old Norse diphthong) Eirik is also commonly used. In Finland, the form Erkki is also used. The modern Icelandic version is Eiríkur, while the modern Faroese version is Eirikur. Éric [eʁik] is used in French, and in Germany Eric, Erik and Erich are used.
Although the name was in use in Anglo-Saxon England, its use was reinforced by Scandinavian settlers arriving before the Norman Invasion. It was an uncommon name in England until the Middle Ages, when it gained popularity, and finally became a common name in the 19th century. This was partly because of the publishing of the novel Eric, or, Little by Little by Frederick William Farrar in 1858.
The word Beth may refer to:
Beth is a popular female name in English; it is usually a nickname for:
I do not own the rights to this song. Lyrics: Beth, I hear you callin'. but I can't come home right now. Me and the boys are playin', And we just can't find the sound. Just a few more hours, and I'll be right home to you. I think I hear them callin'. oh beth what can I do? Beth what can I do? You say you feel so empty, that our house just ain't a home. And i'm always somewhere else, and you're always there alone. Just a few more hours, and I'll be right home to you, I think I hear them callin', oh Beth what can I do? Beth what can I do? Beth, I know you're lonely, and I hope you'll be alright. Cause me and the boys will be playin' all night.
A great song that SHOULD have been on Hot In The Shade. Written by Eric, Bruce Kulick, and Adam Mitchell - Featuring Eric Carr on Drums, Bass, and Lead Vocals, and Bruce Kulick on Guitar. The BEST KISS song KISS never put on one of their albums. It's better than a lot of songs that they DID put on their albums... Eric Carr was a great drummer, a talented musician and songwriter, and a really good human being. I had the good fortune to meet him at the NAMM show in January of 1990, and he had none of the usual Rock Star Ego. He was just another fan who just happened to get a good gig. He never forgot that. He is greatly missed, and I wanted to put something together to remind everyone just how special he was. I think this is pretty close to what I wanted.

KISS - Beth with Eric Singer on vocals. Live and unplugged Zürich 10.6.2015 Meet & Greet Session
Filmed in Sydney, Australia in February 2003. KISS consisted of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons (who else ? ) original member Peter Criss and Tommy Thayer . When "Detroit Rock City" was released in mid-August 1976 it failed to make much of an impact on the charts. The three anthemic releases ("Shout It Out Loud," "Flaming Youth," and "Detroit Rock City") were failing to push the album, however some radio stations soon started playing the soft and emotional B-side, "Beth." The impact this had quickly resulted in wide exposure for both the band and the album. By mid-September Casablanca had issued "Beth" as the A-side of a single, backed with "Detroit Rock City." The resulting single hit #7 on both the Billboard and Cashbox singles charts and provided KISS with their first hit and a RIAA gold ...
Rate and Comment ! For you, Black Diamond with Eric Carr on vocals ! This is during the Animalize Tour, in 1984. Enjoy !
From my 1984 DVD Animalize, this is in 480P Kiss Animalize Live Uncensored is a live video by the American rock band Kiss recorded at Cobo Hall on December 8, 1984 during Kiss' Animalize Tour. It was originally aired by MTV. The tour featured arguably the most varied setlist Kiss has ever played, featuring songs from seven of the band's studio releases up to that point. Three songs from Animalize were played, and many of the band's more popular songs were performed. The show was filmed on the same day temporary guitarist Bruce Kulick was named an official member, replacing Mark St. John. As suggested by its title, Animalize Live Uncensored features plenty of filthy on-stage banter from singer/guitarist Paul Stanley. Paul Stanley- rhythm guitar, lead vocals Gene Simmons- bass guitar, lead...

Would Revenge have been recorded? Would the reunion tour still happen? Would Eric Carr return to the band after Peter left? Would Eric wear the Fox makeup or the Cat makeup? This leads into some discussion about how we each felt about KISS during the 80's, well actually starting with The Elder. And... Eric Carr interviewed by Eddie Trunk on WDHA at the time "Smashes, Thrashes, and Hits" was released. https://twitter.com/Metalfavs
This interview was done on December 23, 1989 at a radio station called WCWP (88.1 fm), based somewhere in New York. The interview I have was actually split up into a few parts, but I decided to put them together because it's easier than changing over to the next every couple of minutes :)
John Majhor interviews Paul Stanley and Eric Carr on Toronto Rocks the same day I see my first KISS concert at Maple Leaf Gardens. Good times!
Eric carr 7 months and 12 days before he died, 3 days after open heart sergery.
Eric Carr is asked about Vinnie Vincent in a radio interview on WCWP 12.23.1989. https://twitter.com/Metalfavs
Paul Stanley and Eric Carr took some time out to host a few hours of airtime on Mtv. I remember coming home from classes around lunch time and catching them. I quickly threw in a VHS tape and caught what I could. They apparently guest hosted two days in a row during the afternoon shift. I always wondered if Paul borrowed Kevin DuBrow's wig that day. LOL

Oh yeah …
Does it cut like a knife?
Heard it all before
Ain't nobody's fool
In the heat of the night
Just gotta know the score
Hungry on the outside
Burning on the inside
Don't let me beg for more … yeah
Can't feel the sting
Can't feel the bite
Don't give a damn
When lightning strikes
You know you can't see a thing
When you're looking through the eyes of love
Tell me once again now
Can't see a thing when you're looking through the eyes
of love
Did you put up a fight?
Had it all figured out
Always thought you had be tough
Being tough ain't enough
Take this heart of stone
Make it bleed tonight … yeah
Are you ready for love?
Ready for the real thing
Got fire running though my blood
Don't give a damn if it's wrong or right
Don't make me wait all night
Can't rub it out
Can't have it all
Heart on a string
Back to the wall
Can't fee the sting
Can't feel the bite
Don't give a damn
When lightning strikes
You know you can't see a thing
When you're looking through the eyes of love
Tell me once again now
Can't feel a thing when you're looking through the eyes
of love
