The sun was in clouds. The sun looked out. Exposed a trail of mist and spouts.
Ships followed the ancient lead. Deceiving friends under the sea.
Wow, imagine that? They won't fight back. I got a theory on that.
A whale's heart is as big as a car. A whaler's thought must be smudged by the dark.
They won't fight back. I'm sure they know how. Means they love or are too proud.
They won't fight back. I'm sure they know how. Means they love or too proud.
They swim. It's really free. It's a beautiful thing to see. They sing.
Hunters of land. Hunters of sea. Exploit anything for money.
I refer to anybody that takes advantage of what that is free.
They won't fight back.
It's only a thought that makes it seem right. What you don't see is because of your sight.
Take what you want. Kill what you can. That's just one way of the mind of man.
Take their lives. Sell their parts but there is not taking of their hearts.
If I was lost at sea. That harpoon boat in front of me. It's the whale I'd like to be.
They won't fight back.
They don't know how.
Did you see him there by the willows bending?
The moon's white shots fell like rain from on high
The love from his eyes floated, rivers unending
Into the sands where the spring of our hearts had run dry
Did you see him there and hear his soft calling?
The love sweet song rising from bottomless pain
The lord of our woes, on his wide shoulders falling
He bears in his mercy to break hatred's reign
Did you see him there in the ages of song?
His truth too simple for man to endure
I long to die for him there and I could not
And the dawns treat the sky with rose and azure
Did you see him there?
Did you see him there?
Did you see him there?
Did you see him there? ... there

muito mais...me interessa
eu não estou interessado em nenhuma teoria
nessas coisas do oriente, romances astrais
minha alucinação é suportar o dia-a-dia
meu delírio é a experiência com coisas reais
um preto, um pobre,
um estudante, uma mulher sozinha
blue jeans e motocicletas, pessoas cinzas normais
garotas dentro da noite...revólver:"cheira cachorro"
os humilhados do parque com os seus jornais

amar e mudar as coisas me interessa mais

a solidão das pessoas nessas capitais
a violência da noite...o movimento do trâfego

Our God, He lives forever
He reigns in power and love
Let earth bow down before Him
For He is exalted
[PC]
We look to Yahweh, Yahweh
Forever Yahweh, Yahweh
[V2]
Our hope is God Almighty
His love is greater than all
Lift high the God of heaven
Give all the honour
[PC2]
We look to Yahweh, Yahweh
Our hope is Yahweh, Yahweh
He shall reign forever
He shall reign forever
He shall reign forever and ever
Sitting in a dixon garden.
Wishing that you and i whern't parting
For the last time.
The last time.
And i said,
Why you wanna get married anyway?
That mans got a family.
And then you say,
Couldn't wait on you forever.
Well could i?
I guess not.
Theres an awkward silence for the first time.
In so many years,
As i recall you used to be mine.
And not some property of his.
And i sang.
Ah-La, don't go,
Ah-La, stay.
Ah-La, don't go,
Don't go away...
Maybe i should apologise.
For i treated you so.
And im so sorry that i left you here.
Just wish i could have known.
And you said,
Well you never cared to tell me.
And it's not your fault.
See these things just happen when your dealing with.
The hands on a clock,
Of a woman.
And he treats me fine.
And anyways im getting older,
And she said,
Oh, but i still miss you sometimes.
When the weathers getting colder.
And she sang.
Ah-La, don't go,
Ah-La, stay.
Ah-La, don't go,
Don't go away...
Do we say goodbye?
Or just see you later?
She said,
Don't make me cry.
Cause its enough just to know.
That i won't ever hold you close.
And i won't ever smell your skin.
And i know how im supposed to feel.
but can't we go again singing,
Ah-La, don't go,
Ah-La, stay.
Ah-La, don't go,
Don't go away...
Ah-La, don't go,
Ah-La, stay...
Ah-La, don't go,
Please don't go away.
Don't go away.
Don't go away.
And i said,
Don't go away.
And you said,
Don't go away.
And we sang,
Don't go away...
Once this magnificent animal swam freely in the seas
But now held captive for human greed.
A miserable "life" behind bars and concrete walls
No companion killer whales to hear its calls.
Yes. I'm sickened by what I've seen
And the mass Faroe Islands pilot whale slaughter is Obscene.
My eyes don't easily fill with the tears
But when I watched those whales scream and die
The tears ran freely from my eyes
To see them murded, hacked apart
Was like something tearing indide my heart
Yet one day such creatures might all swim free
Peaceful coexistence - no fear, no need to hide
I've sat by for too long
And I've watched the hurting
Suffer on their own
I have chances everyday
To live like You, die to myself
Give Your love away
And I wonder why
I feel so empty inside
While I sing
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the hungry roam the streets
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the broken are on their knees
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
I keep singing
We are frozen, we are still
For the call to be a city on a hill
And as our melodies resound
We cannot hear the silent cry
This world is screaming out
And we wonder why, ooh yeah
We feel so empty inside
While we sing
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the hungry roam the streets
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the broken are on their knees
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
We keep singing, yeah
Remember salvation's day
When Jesus washed our sins away
The lost are crying out to be saved
While we sing
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the hungry roam the streets
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
As the broken are on their knees
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
We keep singing
But just a song won't heal
The bleeding wounds
Church wake up, we're sleeping
In an empty tomb, yeah
Church arise, arise and shine
Shake yourself from the dust
God is calling us to go
Church arise, arise and shine
Shake yourself from the dust
God is calling us to go
Church arise, arise and shine
Shake yourself from the dust
he Russo-Finnish war broke out on November 30, 1939. It was a time of confusion and dejection: The Second World War had begun only three months before, and the German fist already pounded on several locations. The Finnish resistance was far outnumbered by the Soviet invaders, and yet the sons of Karelia fought bravely and relentlessly. To everybody's surprise, Finland was defeating Russia. However, only partially and temporarily, for the Soviet colossus was and had always been virtually indomitable.
On March 13, Finland signed the Moscow Peace Treaty, in which they were forced to relinquish the Finnish part of Karelia, among other locations. So unfair was this agreement, that it really seemed that Finland lost more territory in peace than in war. The Winter War is often seen as a minor battle, a footnote in world history, but the keen mind should know better: it was this war that led Hitler to underestimate the Russian power, and that, in the end, would cost him dear.
This is the tale of the dormant Finland,
About its people and its luck of the draw,
This is the tale of the conquering Russia,
And its victorious dead that never returned.
The Reds began their crushing crusade,
Towards the land where Väinämöinen once lived,
The land of snowy plains and endless nights,
Of a thousand lakes and seven hundred years of enslavement...
Slumber, chains and bloodstained
Swords, steels that clashed in the deafening silence.
The burning rain fell down on the resistance,
How to endure the weight of the world?
This was another kind of war in two fronts,
There's the human foe and the ruthless cold.
And so this land took the form of a big pool,
Where pride got steeped as many lives were lost,
Who were the heroes? Who were the bad guys?
Where was now the place they used to call home?
[Viktoriya Nikolaevna Shestakova]
Our fathers left their homes to reclaim their honour and to fight for the mothers of mothers...
[Markku Hamalainen]
...They sent strangers into our Karelia, and our beloved soil was desecrated.
Total silence... tearful, mournful
Stillness, not even a sound in the blood-red battlefield.
Over this snow,
Snow that once was white,
Lie the heroes,
The heroes from both sides.
The red covers all,
All we have ever known,
Such a grim sight,
A sight so hard to describe,
Blood-red snow.
And so this tragic tale came to an end,
When peace was signed once blood had been spilt,
Who did survive? Who did win...
If both of their banners were red in the end?
The Finns gave up their sacrosanct land,
The Russians got what they had yearned for so long,
But in the end, what did they all get for themselves?
Nothing but a handful of snow.
Bloodstained, cold and fragile
Snow, the very same snow that covered their bones.
Over this snow,
Snow that once was white,
Lie the heroes,
The heroes from both sides.
The red covers all,
All we have ever known,
Such a grim sight,
A sight so hard to describe,
Aku telah salah...
Ragukan niatmu
Akulah lelaki...
Dengan jiwa bocah
Yang coba dewasa
Yang coba berubah
Mohon dampingilah
Jangan tinggalkan
Hooo...
Tak terbayangkan
Jika kau pergi...
Kau alasanku untuk dewasa
Dan aku tak ingin kau terluka
Segenap jiwa akan ku jaga
Keindahanmu
Menepis sejenak denganku
Bahagia slamanya denganku...
Kau alasanku untuk dewasa
Dan aku tak ingin kau terluka
Segenap jiwa akan ku jaga
Keindahanmu
what a day... another day... a jello song.
i'm winded running lights to win my life all... wrong,
but Lainie, I call and end: a loser's litany.
i've got a girl, a car, guitars, insanity.
seeing exes on the tv.
crazy lovers shagging freely
and the sinners seems dumb.
seems my mission's missing lately,
and i'm bottled up in lazy.
used to be a captain's captain.
reading on... reading on...
seeing eye dog helping none.
so, cage the beat, the demon's roaming sully's street.
and kids, wicked and wild, devour lost elite.
and biggy's blasting back.. his legacy's complete.
and you... with your loverly intentions
hold my hand without a mention
of how i carry on...
carry on, like a straight hack-talker sing-along
and now i feel
it's a long time coming clear...
that here, i fear, lit-up reindeer won't let santa steer
but lainie, with your hand, we'll together take on superman
'cause now i feel it's a long time coming...
what a day... another day... a jello song.
let shoes remove your shoes
