Filmul urmărește destinul principalelor personaje din Un comisar acuză la începutul anului 1941. După ce fusese împușcat la finalul filmului anterior și crezut mort, comisarul Moldovan revine pentru a-și lua „revanșa” față de Paraipan și de colonelul Zăvoianu, vinovați de moartea mamei sale și de încercarea de ucidere a sa. Lupta comisarului cu legionarii se desfășoară pe fundalul evenimentelor tulburi din ianuarie 1941 care au culminat cu rebeliunea legionară. Moldovan reușește să-l omoare pe Paraipan și să-l aresteze pe Zăvoianu, dar în încercarea de a-l aresta pe Horia Sima îi este ucis unicul său copil.

Filmul ficționalizează câteva evenimente reale petrecute în noiembrie 1940 (masacrul de la Jilava, asasinarea profesorilor Nicolae Iorga și Virgil Madgearu), în perioada Statului Național-Legionar.[1] Comisarul Moldovan este însărcinat cu anchetarea unui masacru organizat în noiembrie 1940 de un comando legionar la închisoarea Viraga. Masacrul a avut ca țintă mai mulți adversari ai regimului politic de extremă dreaptă din România anului 1940, încarcerați la Viraga, printre care și un grup de activiști comuniști. Pentru a scoate adevărul la lumină, Moldovan trebuie să lupte nu doar cu Legiunea, ci și cu influenții protectori ai acesteia din sferele înalte ale puterii. Deși reușește să descopere adevărul și să-i ucidă pe legionarii care au participat la masacru, comisarul Moldovan este împușcat la finalul filmului pe dealul de la Mănăstirea Plumbuita.

1. Moldova's production of wine is the highest in the world per capita. Despite beeing a small country there are vineyards almost all over the place. Moldova is placed the 12th among the top world wine exporters.
2. The greatest ruler of Moldova, Stefan cel Mare, (1457-1504) won 46 out of 48 battles fought. He was also the cousin of Vlad the Impaler (yes, the famous Dracula), although they weren’t always on the best of terms.
3. Moldova has a break away territory. Transnistria, which sits just on the other side of the Nistru River in what is officially Moldova, declared its independence in 1990. It is not officially recognized by any country in the United Nations (UN) and since the end of the War of Transnistria in 1992, has held a de facto independent status. Transnistria has its own currency, president, government, border patrol, etc. (Unofficially) Transnistria is backed and maintained by Russia, which maintains an army of 2500 soldiers and a large ammunitions depo.
4. Moldovan language is Romanian. In 1939 the language’s alphabet was converted to Cyrillic, a move by the Soviets to distinguish (and divide) the Moldovan ethnic group from Romanians. Shortly after Communism fell in 1989, the Moldovan government passed a law switching the alphabet back to Latin script. Moldovans themselves though are still roughly split as to whether they speak “Moldovan” or Romanian.
5. The land that makes up current Moldova has seen a number of conquerors, rulers, and kingdoms vie for its strategic position (mostly) in between the Dniester and Prut Rivers. Aside from being a part of the Romanian nation state (Romanian United Principalities), modern-day Moldova was also once a vassal state to the Ottoman Empire and part of the Russian Empire.
6. Chisinau (New Spring in old Romanian) is one of Europe’s greenest capitals, with many parks, squares and plazas. For the first time Chisinau was mentioned in historical documents on 17 July 1436. It got status of a city in 1818 soon after becoming a part of Russian Empire. Chisinau became a capital city in 1940 when there was established Moldavian Soviet Socialistic Republic. After USSR dissolution Chisinau was declared to be the capital city of Moldova and it is the capital city till nowadays.
7. It is traditional to see large floor rugs hanging on the walls as decoration. This is a custom spread out through Eastern Europe. Aside from serving as a decoration, the wall hanging would also protect from the cold in the winter, which used to be a lot colder before global warming started to show its effects.

Viorel Moldovan
Viorel Dinu Moldovan (born 8 July 1972 in Bistrița) is a retired Romanian football forward, who was a key part of the Romanian national team in the 1990s. He is the assistant coach of Romanian national team.
Career
On the club level, Moldovan played for Gloria Bistrița (1990–93), Dinamo București (1993–95), Neuchâtel Xamax (1995–96), Grasshoppers (1996–98), Coventry City (1998), Fenerbahçe (1998–2000), Nantes (2000–04), Servette (2004–05), FCU Politehnica Timișoara (2005), and Rapid București (2005–2007).
The most successful years of his career occurred while playing for Neuchâtel Xamax and Grasshoppers between 1996 and 1998 in Switzerland (he was the Swiss Super League topscorer in 1996 and 1997), for Fenerbahçe between 1998 and 2000 and for Nantes between 2000 and 2004. He was a determinant player when Nantes won the French Ligue 1 in 2001. During his brief spell in England with Coventry City he scored twice, once in the FA Cup against Aston Villa and once in the league against Crystal Palace.

Sergiu Nicolaescu
Sergiu Florin Nicolaescu (Romanian: [ˈserd͡ʒju nikolaˈesku]; 13 April 1930 – 3 January 2013) was a Romanian film director, actor and politician. He was best known for his historical films, such as Mihai Viteazul (1970, released in English both under the equivalent title Michael the Brave and also as The Last Crusade), Dacii (1966, Les Guerriers), Razboiul Independenţei (1977, War of Independence), as well as for his series of thrillers that take place in the interwar Kingdom of Romania, such as Un comisar acuză (1973, A Police Inspector Calls). The beautiful and talented Joanna Pacuła starred in his film Ultima noapte de dragoste (The Last Night of Love) in 1979 before eventually emigrating to the U.S. where she went on to very successful career.
He died following surgical complications of peritonitis which led to cardiac arrest.
Early life and education
Sergiu Nicolaescu was born in Târgu Jiu, but grew up in Timişoara, where his family moved when he was 5 years old. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest as a mechanical engineer. After graduation he started to work as a camera operator. He was hard-working, well-organized, curious, intelligent and keen of learning. During these years he acquired many of the skills that have proved so useful when making his later movies.

Lupta comisarului cu legionarii se desfășoară pe fundalul evenimentelor tulburi din ianuarie 1941 care au culminat cu rebeliunea legionară. 2. The greatest ruler of Moldova, Stefan cel Mare, (1457-1504) won 46 out of 48 battles fought. He was also the cousin of Vlad the Impaler (yes, the famous Dracula), although they weren’t always on the best of terms.
3. Moldova has a break away territory. Transnistria, which sits just on the other side of the Nistru River in what is officially Moldova, declared its independence in 1990. It is not officially recognized by any country in the United Nations (UN) and since the end of the War of Transnistria in 1992, has held a de facto independent status. Transnistria has its own currency, president, government, border patrol, etc. (Unofficially) Transnistria is backed and maintained by Russia, which maintains an army of 2500 soldiers and a large ammunitions depo.
4. Moldovan language is Romanian. In 1939 the language’s alphabet was converted to Cyrillic, a move by the Soviets to distinguish (and divide) the Moldovan ethnic group from Romanians. Shortly after Communism fell in 1989, the Moldovan government passed a law switching the alphabet back to Latin script. Moldovans themselves though are still roughly split as to whether they speak “Moldovan” or Romanian.
5. The land that makes up current Moldova has seen a number of conquerors, rulers, and kingdoms vie for its strategic position (mostly) in between the Dniester and Prut Rivers. Aside from being a part of the Romanian nation state (Romanian United Principalities), modern-day Moldova was also once a vassal state to the Ottoman Empire and part of the Russian Empire.

It got status of a city in 1818 soon after becoming a part of Russian Empire. Chisinau became a capital city in 1940 when there was established Moldavian Soviet Socialistic Republic. After USSR dissolution Chisinau was declared to be the capital city of Moldova and it is the capital city till nowadays.
7. It is traditional to see large floor rugs hanging on the walls as decoration. This is a custom spread out through Eastern Europe. Aside from serving as a decoration, the wall hanging would also protect from the cold in the winter, which used to be a lot colder before global warming started to show its effects.

1. Moldova's production of wine is the highest in the world per capita. Despite beeing a small country there are vineyards almost all over the place. Moldova is placed the 12th among the top world wine exporters.
2. The greatest ruler of Moldova, Stefan cel Mare, (1457-1504) won 46 out of 48 battles fought. He was also the cousin of Vlad the Impaler (yes, the famous Dracula), although they weren’t always on the best of terms.
3. Moldova has a break away territory. Transnistria, which sits just on the other side of the Nistru River in what is officially Moldova, declared its independence in 1990. It is not officially recognized by any country in the United Nations (UN) and since the end of the War of Transnistria in 1992, has held a de facto independent status. Transnistria has its own currency, president, government, border patrol, etc. (Unofficially) Transnistria is backed and maintained by Russia, which maintains an army of 2500 soldiers and a large ammunitions depo.
4. Moldovan language is Romanian. In 1939 the language’s alphabet was converted to Cyrillic, a move by the Soviets to distinguish (and divide) the Moldovan ethnic group from Romanians. Shortly after Communism fell in 1989, the Moldovan government passed a law switching the alphabet back to Latin script. Moldovans themselves though are still roughly split as to whether they speak “Moldovan” or Romanian.
5. The land that makes up current Moldova has seen a number of conquerors, rulers, and kingdoms vie for its strategic position (mostly) in between the Dniester and Prut Rivers. Aside from being a part of the Romanian nation state (Romanian United Principalities), modern-day Moldova was also once a vassal state to the Ottoman Empire and part of the Russian Empire.
