When you go on the TV as an official spokesperson, they usually put you in front of a blue or green screen, and then put all sorts of stuff behind you. Or maybe just the Eiffel Tower.

Among other things, deputy Patrick Balkany said: "There are no poor people in France. There are people who choose to be homeless - but we feed them, we house them, we wash them...."
