Cloud Nine or Cloud 9 may refer to:
Cloud Nine is the eleventh studio album by English musician George Harrison. The album was recorded and released in 1987 after Harrison had taken a five-year hiatus from his career as a solo artist. The hit single "Got My Mind Set on You" from this album re-established Harrison as a critically acclaimed and commercially significant recording artist. Cloud Nine was the last studio solo album released during Harrison's lifetime.
Frustrated with the changing musical climate, George Harrison suspended his recording career in the early 1980s. Instead of recording, he opted to pursue other interests, including film production with his own company, Handmade Films. The odd soundtrack or charity song would surface during this period, but otherwise, it was a musically silent period for Harrison.
By late 1986, after a substantial break, Harrison felt the desire to make music again. He asked former Electric Light Orchestra leader and fellow musician Jeff Lynne to co-produce a new album with him. After writing a round of new compositions (including the songs already contributed to the 1986 film Shanghai Surprise), Harrison entered his home studio Friar Park in Henley-on-Thames on 5 January 1987 to begin recording his first new commercial album in five years. Having recorded the backing tracks for seventeen songs between January and March, he completed the album's overdubs in August 1987.
There have been many appearances of various spacecraft in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica science fiction television series, with the primary means of travel being FTL.
A ship in the refugee fleet. Named after Adrasteia, in Greek Mythology, was a nymph who was charged by Rhea to raise the infant Zeus in secret to protect him from his father Cronus.
The Adriatic is one of the few civilian ships in the refugee fleet equipped with weapons. The ship was armed with at least a battery of ship-to-ship missiles, the reason for its armament was to protect the fleet while the Galactica was off on missions (such as the attack on the tylium asteroid). The Adriatic joined Laura Roslin's splinter group of ships that go against Adama's orders and returns to the planet Kobol to find the Tomb of Athena. The Adriatic provides defense until the Galactica rejoins the fleet.
The Adriatic is eventually lost while being escorted by Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza through a star cluster in the episode "The Passage".

Morandi is a Romanian Europop music group composed of Marius Moga and Andrei Ştefan Ropcea (Randi). The group's name derives from the first two letters of Moga's name and Ropcea's nickname, Randi, creating Morandi.
Aside from being successful in Romania, the group ranked highly on several pan-European charts (including the MTV Europe chart and the World Chart Express) and became probably the most successful band in the history of Eastern Europe after O-Zone. Their music is very popular among young people in Russia, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Republic of Macedonia, Lithuania and Ukraine. Morandi were nominated as Best Romanian Act both at the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards and 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards and won the award at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards. "Angels" was called "Most successful track 2008" in Russia.
"Colours" is a song written and recorded by British singer-songwriter Donovan. The "Colours" single was released in the United Kingdom on May 28, 1965 through Pye Records (Pye 7N 15866) and a few months later in the United States through Hickory Records (Hickory 45-1324). The "Colours" single was backed with "To Sing for You" (previously included on What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid) on the United Kingdom release and "Josie" (from What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid) on the United States release.
Donovan followed up the success of "Catch the Wind" with "Colours", which featured a similar folk style. The single matched the success of "Catch the Wind" in the United Kingdom, reaching No.4 on the charts. In the United States, "Colours" reached No.61 and marked a decline in the artist's popularity relative to "Catch the Wind". A different mix of the song (without harmonica) was released on his second album Fairytale.
When Epic Records was compiling Donovan's Greatest Hits, they were either unable or unwilling to secure the rights to the original recordings of "Catch the Wind" and "Colours". Donovan re-recorded both songs with a full backing band, and the re-recordings were included on the greatest hits album.
Web colors are colors used in displaying web pages, and the methods for describing and specifying those colors. Colors may be specified as an RGB triplet or in hexadecimal format (a hex triplet). They may also be specified according to their common English names in some cases. Often a color tool or other graphics software is used to generate color values. In some uses, hexadecimal color codes are specified with notation using a leading number sign (#). A color is specified according to the intensity of its red, green and blue components, each represented by eight bits. Thus, there are 24 bits used to specify a web color, and 16,777,216 colors that may be so specified.
The first versions of Mosaic and Netscape Navigator used the X11 color names as the basis for their color lists, as both started as X Window System applications. Web colors have an unambiguous colorimetric definition, sRGB, which relates the chromaticities of a particular phosphor set, a given transfer curve, adaptive whitepoint, and viewing conditions. These have been chosen to be similar to many real-world monitors and viewing conditions, so that even without color management rendering is fairly close to the specified values. However, user agents vary in the fidelity with which they represent the specified colors. More advanced user agents use color management to provide better color fidelity; this is particularly important for Web-to-print applications.

And the solo recording debut of Dennis Edwards on lead replacing David Ruffin. It was said from Berry Gordy himself that he personally hated this song for its reference and theme of drug use, but was over voted by his Motown staff and was released anyway. The idea came from a mention from Otis Williams while touring in '69. Speaking on the success of Sly & The Family Stone and that the group should give it a try while Dennis was intrigued by the multiple lead format. Norman Whitfeild expressed he couldn't be bothered. This song was written two weeks later.. It's also interesting to note that this so...

And now it begins to shine
And you found the eyes to see
Each little drop at dawn of every day
Your smile, it comes back to me
And whatever you may say
Don't let it stop, never fade away
As we got to get out in this world together
Doesn't really matter if we start to make some changes
If that's what it takes
(That's what it takes)
Then I've got to be strong
(That's what it takes)
Don't want to be wrong
If that's what it takes
The closer I get
(That's what it takes)
Into that open door
(What it takes)
I've got to be sure
If that's what it takes
And now that it's shining through
And you can see all this world
Don't let it stop, never fade away
If we got to be in this life forever
Then we'd better be taking all the chances
If that's what it takes
(That's what it takes)
Then I've got to be strong
(That's what it takes)
Don't want to be wrong
If that's what it takes
The closer I get
(That's what it takes)
Into that open door
(What it takes)
I've got to be sure
If that's what it takes
That's what it takes, that's what it takes
That's what it takes, that's what it takes
What it takes, that's what it takes
That's what it takes, what it takes
