Aurelius Ambrosius, better known in English as Saint Ambrose (c. between 337 and 340 – 4 April 397), was a bishop of Milan who became one of the most influential ecclesiastical figures of the 4th century. He was one of the four original doctors of the Church.
Ambrose was born into a Roman Christian family between about 337 and 340 and was raised in Trier. His father was Aurelius Ambrosius, the praetorian prefect of Gaul; his mother was a woman of intellect and piety. Ambrose's siblings, Satyrus (who is the subject of Ambrose's De excessu fratris Satyri) and Marcellina, are also venerated as saints. There is a legend that as an infant, a swarm of bees settled on his face while he lay in his cradle, leaving behind a drop of honey. His father considered this a sign of his future eloquence and honeyed tongue. For this reason, bees and beehives often appear in the saint's symbology.
After the early death of his father, Ambrose followed his father's career. He was educated in Rome, studying literature, law, and rhetoric.Praetor Anicius Probus first gave him a place in the council and then in about 372 made him consular prefect or "Governor" of Liguria and Emilia, with headquarters at Milan, which was then (beside Rome) the second capital in Italy.
Matthew Leonard (November 26, 1929–February 28, 1967) was a United States Army soldier who received America's highest military decoration — the Medal of Honor — for his actions in the Vietnam War.
Leonard was born in Eutaw, Alabama. He married his elementary school sweetheart, Lois, and they had five children.
Matthew Leonard entered the Army from Birmingham, Alabama. He served in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. On February 28, 1967, Leonard was serving as a platoon Sergeant with Company B, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division near Suoi Da, South Vietnam. When his platoon came under attack on that day, Sergeant Leonard organized the defense and encouraged his men. Despite suffering several wounds, he continued to command and eventually charged an enemy machine gun. He was wounded again during the charge, and died soon after.
For his actions on that day, Sergeant Leonard received the Medal of Honor. Leonard's widow Lois and her family were presented with his Medal of Honor by President Lyndon B. Johnson during a ceremony at the Pentagon on December 19, 1968.
Mike Aquilina is a popular author working in the area of Church history, especially patristics, the study of the early Church Fathers.
He is the author or editor of more than thirty books, including The Fathers of the Church (2006); The Mass of the Early Christians (2007); The Resilient Church (2007); Living the Mysteries (2003); and What Catholics Believe (1999). His books have been translated into many languages, from Croatian and Portuguese to German and Braille. The Grail Code has appeared in ten languages since its publication in 2006.
Critics have praised Aquilina's work for making the Fathers accessible to non-academic readers: "Most scholars … study the paper trail — homilies, letters, teaching manuals, works of theological disputation … Aquilina loves the words, too. But he also finds the sermon in the stuff, the theology expressed in the little things that the first Christians left behind — fading murals on catacomb walls, pottery and dishware, pieces of coinage, ancient hymns and Mass prayers, common household items … The point is that for Aquilina, the little things matter — because they tell us big things about what Catholics believe and how they look at the world." Dr. John Grondelski said in the National Catholic Register: "Aquilina has made a vocation and career out of, in many ways, single-handedly popularizing patristics."

(Sweet embrace)
Must I remember your face
so well
what do I do here with this hunger
Oh I am not old
I'm told
but I am not young
Oh and nothing can be done
Don't start
my heart
is a smoking gun
Oh and nothing can be done
Nothing can be done
Nothing can be done
Oh nothing can be done
When I'm faithless
You are faithful
When I'm lonely
You surround me
And when I am empty
You drown me in your sweet embrace
And when I am broken
You come restore my joy again
La-la-la, hey la-la
La-la-la, I sing for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
To demonstrate my love for you
When I'm far away
Then you draw me
When I am afraid
You surround me
And when I am empty
You drown me in your sweet embrace
And when I am broken
You come restore my joy again
La-la-la, hey la-la
La-la-la, I sing for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
To demonstrate my love for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
La-la-la, I sing for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
To demonstrate my love for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
La-la-la, I sing for you
La-la-la, hey la-la
