Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate
A thousand lies, they call at night
From the dark side of my life
Stop the game, (there's) no need to masquerade
A time and place, a place in time
A lot of mountains left to climb
Stop the blame, there's no time to hesitate
chorus:
One night a day, one step away
The way we play the game
Nothing remains the same
One night a day, one step away
The young become the old
As mysteries unfold
Am I the clown? Am I the one?
Or just a poor fox on the run
I need a change, not a foolish masquerade
A rolling stone sheds its' moss
Ambitious striving causing loss
Stop the blame, just a road got in the way
(chorus)
Life turns me inside out
Time turns me upside down
I'm running like a fool, scream and shout
Who can monitor my life?
Who can navigate my fight?
I'm running like a fool, scream and shout
(chorus)
