CLEVELAND -- Charged with facing yet another of baseball's top offenses, Indians starter Josh Tomlin altered his pitch mix, which led to superb results ... They didn't put a curveball into play until Donaldson led off the sixth inning with a groundout to shortstop on the first pitch he saw ... Tomlin threw 16 curves in either 0-0 or 0-1 counts, and his first six first-pitch curves all went for strikes....

I think to your point, though, I think it's really cool that he is pitching, because he embodied so much of what we like about our team. And for him to be pitching in these games I think everybody is excited about it ... One, I thought he really pitched according to the game plan and stayed with it and he was very prepared. The other thing, and you get into this time of year you're going to face good pitching....
