Quotes:
Momcilo: Did you find out anything?::Eusebius: I did. It says here that Sljivancanin was sentenced by the International Criminal Tribunal...::Momcilo: Urghhh...::Eusebius: ...for the former Yugoslavia.::Momcilo: Urghhh...::Eusebius: Abbreviation ICTY. And that a certain judge Kevin Parker sentenced him to 10 years' of confinement.::Momcilo: 10 years' of confinemnt? Is that when they confine and shut your intestine for 10 years? Sweet mother of mercy... He did not go to the toilet for 10 years! Imagine if that happened to you. You would not even be able to eat beans!::Eusebius: Yeah, it's one thing when you send someone to the slammer, but 10 years' of confinement? They are really merciless at that ICTY!::Momcilo: Yeah, yeah.::Eusebius: Man, no wonder he gained weight. He probably had some tube through which he extracted faeces from his intestine or something... I don't know how he had confinement for 10 years!
Momcilo: And that judge that sentenced Sljivancanin... What did you say his name was?::Eusebius: Kevin Parker is his name.::Momcilo: Oh, he must be a very honorable judge... Like that judge Smails from "Caddyshack"!::Eusebius: Yes. You know what else?::Momcilo: What?::Eusebius: I just read it... I got the impression that the ICTY is filled with very honourable judges!::Momcilo: Yeah.::Eusebius: Imagine, those Nuremberg Trials only went on for three years before they finished their job! Nuremberg Trials.::Momcilo: Yeah.::Eusebius: And these at the ICTY... they work for 20 years. See how honourable they are? They don't care how long it will take to do their job, as long as they do it their way. And they don't care how much billions of $ they will take from various tax payers from around the world... Or how much billions of $ they will pull out of the UN as long as they do their job the way they want it! That's what I call a real lawyer! I am telling you... these lawyers... for the first time we can see how it pays out to give free hands to non-transparent lawyers to do what ever they want with the world!
Momcilo: Those judges at the ICTY must be truly good people... one of those real philantrophists! Why, I would rename that organization... that court into... into... Amnesty International!
Veselin Sljivancanin: Howdy, I am your new neighbor, Major Veselin Sljivancanin! What's wrong? I am moving right next door. I may drop by to borrow some milk, sugar or a knife.::Klara: Or to disguise yourself as Frankenstein for Halloween.::Veselin Sljivancanin: What?
Veselin Sljivancanin: What an inhospitable city this is. Everyone is avoiding me, looking at me with distrust... What Xenophobia!
Eusebius: Zombie Veselin Sljivancanin!
[first lines]::Momcilo: Eusebius, do you ever think with your smaller brain?::[Cerebellum]::Eusebius: No, I rather think with my bigger brain, because that way I use more brain and am therefore smarter, so I do not have to ask stupid questions!
Eusebius: Do you think anyone will notice?::Momcilo: Nah... If somebody asks, we were throwing compost! What?

Plot: In New York City, December 1822, Dr. Clement Moore - a professor of world literature - is inspired to pen a whimsical Christmas poem for his young children. Influenced by the lore of Old World culture, Moore crafts his poem into a magical tale about a kind and generous gift-bearer that secretly visits homes on Christmas Eve. It is while musing about this mythical character that Moore first learns of the ancient legend of a gift-bearer from the Greco-Roman Era - one that he comes to believe may be the origin of all the similar myths throughout the world. What Moore finds is a story that ironically would one day be lost to the lore he was about to create. He soon discovers the surprising tale of a mighty empire at the crossroads of history, an enigmatic emperor who would forever leave his mark on the world, and an orphan boy named Nicholas, who one day - in the face of unfathomable greed and persecution - would prove that not every hero swings a sword. It is the story of Christmas origins, the story of selflessness and sacrifice, yet ultimately, it is about the power of storytelling and the hope it can bring. It is the now forgotten tale of a legendary saint named Nicholas... Nicholas of Myra.
