Part 1 - This video includes several trains arriving, departing and passing by at the low level of Smethwick Galton Bridge train station, just outside Birmingham, on 7/9/11. Although more trains pass by here than trains that stop, the station is quite busy due to the fact that there are 2 railway lines, a lower level serving main destinations such as Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Holyhead, Aberystwyth and Liverpool Lime Street, and a higher level serving main destinations such as Kidderminster, Worcester, Great Malvern, Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Dorridge and Stratford-Upon-Avon. I decided to film these videos from platform 3 for easy access returning home. I had recently arrived from Wolverhampton, and was planning to return back there in a few hours after doing a bit of train spotting on both levels of the station for the day. The station is situated just outside Birmingham and West Bromwich, near the M5 motorway and Smethwick Galton Bridge itself. It is between Sandwell & Dudley train station and Smethwick Rolfe Street train station on the low level (situated on the West Coast Main Line) and between The Hawthorns train station and Langley Green train station on the high level. A train station, also called a railroad station (mainly in the United States) or railway station (mainly in the British Commonwealth) and often shortened to just station, is a railway facility where trains regularly stop to load or unload passengers or freight. The world's oldest railway station built for steam locomotives still in use is Broad Green railway station in Liverpool, England, which was built in 1830 and is on the Liverpool to Manchester Line. The world's oldest terminal station was Crown Street railway station in Liverpool, built in 1830, also on the Liverpool to Manchester line. The station was the first to incorporate a Train shed. The station was demolished in 1836 as the Liverpool terminal station moved to Lime Street railway station. The station was converted to a Goods station terminal.

★ Watch In 720p HD! ★ Part 1 - This video includes several trains arriving, departing and passing by at the low level of Smethwick Galton Bridge train station, just outside Birmingham, on 7/9/11. Although more trains pass by here than trains that stop, the station is quite busy due to the fact that there are 2 railway lines, a lower level serving main destinations such as Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Holyhead, Aberystwyth and Liverpool Lime Street, and a higher level serving main destinations such as Kidderminster, Worcester, Great Malvern, Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Dorridge and Stratford-Upon-Avon. I decided to film these videos from platform 3 for easy access returning home. I had recently arrived from Wolverhampton, and was planning to return back there in a few hours after doing a bit of train spotting on both levels of the station for the day. The station is situated just outside Birmingham and West Bromwich, near the M5 motorway and Smethwick Galton Bridge itself. It is between Sandwell & Dudley train station and Smethwick Rolfe Street train station on the low level (situated on the West Coast Main Line) and between The Hawthorns train station and Langley Green train station on the high level. This is a video about the latest and greatest mine cart station I designed and built for the private SMP Minecraft server I run (no mods, all legit). Part 1 - This video includes several trains arriving, departing and passing by at the low level of Smethwick Galton Bridge train station, just outside Birmingham, on 7/9/11. Although more trains pass by here than trains that stop, the station is quite busy due to the fact that there are 2 railway lines, a lower level serving main destinations such as Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Holyhead, Aberystwyth and Liverpool Lime Street, and a higher level serving main destinations such as Kidderminster, Worcester, Great Malvern, Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Dorridge and Stratford-Upon-Avon. I decided to film these videos from platform 3 for easy access returning home. I had recently arrived from Wolverhampton, and was planning to return back there in a few hours after doing a bit of train spotting on both levels of the station for the day. The station is situated just outside Birmingham and West Bromwich, near the M5 motorway and Smethwick Galton Bridge itself. It is between Sandwell & Dudley train station and Smethwick Rolfe Street train station on the low level (situated on the West Coast Main Line) and between The Hawthorns train station and Langley Green train station on the high level. This is a video about the latest and greatest mine cart station I designed and built for the private SMP Minecraft server I run (no mods, all legit). This station is the successor to an older one I built back in Beta 1.2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIgeahhqgKc). Though it may not be as large and pretty, this fine station packs many features into a sleek, and aesthetically pleasing design, and uses all the new technology that has been added since 1.2 (the most notable being: redstone repeaters, minecart powered rail, and pistons).
FEATURES (basically everything from the old station, except cooler):
-15 Destinations
-Innovative piston track selector
-Automatic cart collection and storage
-3x3 piston door
-Noteblock departure song
-Sweet underwater river track (that took forever btw I don't recommend building one lol)
WARNING: This station design no longer works since redstone mechanics were changed slightly (when minecraft left beta).
