Ocelot
The ocelot (/ˈɒsəlɒt/; Leopardus pardalis), also known as the dwarf leopard, is a wild cat distributed extensively within South America including the islands of Trinidad and Margarita, Central America, and Mexico. It has been reported as far north as Texas. North of Mexico, it is found regularly only in the extreme southern part of Texas, although there are rare sightings in southern Arizona.
The ocelot is similar in appearance to a domestic cat. Its fur resembles that of a clouded leopard or jaguar and was once regarded as particularly valuable. As a result, hundreds of thousands of ocelots were once killed for their fur. The feline was classified as a vulnerable species from 1972 until 1996, and is now listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Etymology
The name ocelot comes from the Nahuatl word ōcēlōtl (pronounced [oːˈseːloːt͡ɬ]), which usually refers to the jaguar (Panthera onca) rather than the ocelot.
Taxonomy
The ocelot's genus Leopardus consists of nine species similar to the ocelot, such as Geoffroy's cat and the margay, which are also endemic to South and Central America. All of the cats in Leopardus are spotted, lithe, and small, with the ocelot being the biggest.

O-Force
The O-Force is a superhuman mutant team in the Marvel Comics universe. Their first appearance was in X-Statix #1 and was created by Peter Milligan and Mike Allred.
Publication history
Created by Peter Milligan and Michael Allred, O-Force's only appearance was in the first story arc of the X-Statix comic book series, lasting four issues. After this all of the team's whereabouts and status are unknown after the events of "Decimation" and the "Civil War". The exception is Obituary, who was mentioned in the Civil War: Battle Damage Report one-shot.
Fictional team biography
The team is created for a reality television show where mutants compete for a place in the O-Force team. Three of the trainees (Oink, Oracle and Orifice) are only pictured in a single panel and do not appear with the team.
The O-Force television show airs starring Optoman, Orchid, Overkill and Ozone. They compete in a fight onscreen, with Optoman taking the brunt of it. Later, as the team is assembled, a video is shown across the nation of a practice mission. O-Force's first mission is to rescue a group of actors from a mansion filled with gunmen. X-Statix does not believe the mission is anything more than a set-up to make O-Force look good. This is confirmed by the thought bubbles of Solomon O'Sullivan, O-Force's agent. The gunmen who threaten the actors are killed during the mission.

Land Crabs, also known as Halloween Crabs, are very common in the rainforests of Latin and South America and in fact, while driving at night one can usually see dozens of them crossing the road.
*To be clear, this situation was completely organic. Neither Ocelot nor crab was placed in the scene for the benefit of the video...it was simply a chance encounter between a predator and its pray and we just so happened to be there to witness what happened.
Ocelot’s have a wide range stretching from Argentina to Texas and while they have fairly healthy populations in the topics they are extremely elusive and rarely seen by humans. There has never been another video like this and we feel so extremely fortunate to have had this incredible experience…it’s one encounter we’ll certainly never forget.

Ocelots are wild cats native to Central and South America who may also appear on rare occasion in the southern most parts of North America, though in the past their range extended further into the United States. Ocelots can't roar and are generally considered "small cats" even though they can more than double domestic cats in size (at least the males can)! Ocelots hunt rodents, reptiles, and even fish! They may have up to three kittens in a litter, and on average live up to a decade in the wild.

Range: South and Central America (limited areas in North America)
Diet: rats, iguanas, agoutis, opossums, armadillos, anteaters, deer, monkeys, tortoises, birds, fish, and crustaceans
Size: Males up to 35 pounds (16kg); females half this size

Ocelot
The ocelot (/ˈɒsəlɒt/; Leopardus pardalis), also known as the dwarf leopard, is a wild cat distributed extensively within South America including the islands of Trinidad and Margarita, Central America, and Mexico. It has been reported as far north as Texas. North of Mexico, it is found regularly only in the extreme southern part of Texas, although there are rare sightings in southern Arizona.
The ocelot is similar in appearance to a domestic cat. Its fur resembles that of a clouded leopard or jaguar and was once regarded as particularly valuable. As a result, hundreds of thousands of ocelots were once killed for their fur. The feline was classified as a vulnerable species from 1972 until 1996, and is now listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Etymology
The name ocelot comes from the Nahuatl word ōcēlōtl (pronounced [oːˈseːloːt͡ɬ]), which usually refers to the jaguar (Panthera onca) rather than the ocelot.
Taxonomy
The ocelot's genus Leopardus consists of nine species similar to the ocelot, such as Geoffroy's cat and the margay, which are also endemic to South and Central America. All of the cats in Leopardus are spotted, lithe, and small, with the ocelot being the biggest.
