"Hesrpestes" The Electrifying Filipino Martial Arts, is one of the few martial arts that originated in the Philippines. Its various techniques, and movements can cause severe damage to the vital parts of the body of an opponent when applied properly. One of the key principles of Herpestes is the moving defense technique, which means before you defend you must move away from the point of attack. The scope or movement of this martial art exhibits great similarity with the fighting movements of a genus herpestes (mongoose) fighting a snake. This martial art is strongly based on moving defense while agile dodging. Before you defend you must move away from the point of attack , then after that, you apply the different techniques and different movements to the opponent. Movements and techniques of this martial art includes several actions such as grabbing, jerking, kicking, slapping, blocking, chopping, striking, and the elbow. The combinations of these movements can be use both defensively and offensively, such that they cause great damage to the opponent.
