Five Minutes to Live is a 1961 American crime film. It was re-titled Door-to-Door Maniac for a re-release in 1966. The film starred Johnny Cash and Cay Forrester who wrote the screenplay for the film that was produced by her husband Ludlow Flower.
The film opens on Fred (Vic Tayback), sitting in a dark room, detailing his most recent bank robbery. He talks about how he has always had a plan for a small town bank robbery. He had teamed-up with hardened criminal, Johnny Cabot (Johnny Cash) to execute his plan. Cabot is to take the wife of the bank's vice president hostage. He is to hold her until he gets a call from Fred informing him that they have the ransom money. Cabot watches the Wilson house as the husband leaves for work and their son heads off to school. At first, posing as a door-to-door guitar instructor, Cabot works his way into the house and takes Nancy Wilson (Cay Forrester) hostage. At the bank, Fred talks his way into Ken Wilson's (Donald Woods) office, and hands him a check for $70,000, informing Wilson that he will withdraw the funds to cover the ransom or his wife will die. He tells Wilson to call home in order to prove that Nancy is being held hostage, and then informs him that if he does not call Cabot back in five minutes that Mrs. Wilson will die. Wilson tells Fred that he's been planning to leave his wife anyway and run off to Las Vegas with his mistress, Ellen (Pamela Mason). He tells Fred that he will be doing him a favor by killing his wife. Fred, however, does not believe that Ken will let his wife die. He is proven correct, as time ticks by, Wilson finally cracks and agrees to pay the ransom. Fred calls Cabot and starts the clock over again. As time ticks away, Fred works on Ken to collect the money so he can leave the bank safely. Meanwhile, at the Wilson house, Cabot is enjoying terrorizing his hostage. Forcing her to listen to him play songs about her impending demise, shooting at her and making sexual advances toward her (which she tries to use to aid her escape to no avail). Back at the bank, Fred has been taken down by the police who arrived after someone tripped the silent alarm. As a result, Cabot is getting nervous having not received his expected call from Fred. Suddenly, in walks Little Bobby (Ron Howard), home for lunch. Around this time the police finally arrive outside the Wilson house. In a panic, Cabot grabs Bobby and runs for it. He runs right into the yard and waiting police gunfire. Bobby pretends as though he's been shot in the fight in order to get Cabot to put him down. After apparently being very upset by the accidental shooting of the young boy, Cabot runs back into the fight and is killed by police. Nancy runs outside to find her son alive and well. The film ends with Mr. Wilson driving to Las Vegas, but with his wife instead of his, now former, mistress.

Five Minutes to Live is a 1961 American neo noir crime film. It was re-titled Door-to-Door Maniac for a re-release in 1966. The film stars Johnny Cash and Cay Forrester, who wrote the screenplay and whose husband, Ludlow Flower, produced. Five Minutes to Live was one of only two theatrical film roles Cash performed on-screen in his career (A Gunfight, ten years later, was the other); he would appear in several made-for-television films and do some voice-over work in film later in his career.
As his partner in crime, Fred Dorella (Vic Tayback), heads to the bank and tries to extort cash from executive Ken Wilson (Donald Woods), Johnny Cabot (Johnny Cash) kidnaps Wilson's wife, Nancy (Cay Forester). Fred tells Ken that, unless he hands over $70,000 in cash, Johnny will kill Nancy. Ken comes up with a ploy to buy some time for the police to assess the situation. Though the scheme is coming unstuck, Fred and Johnny aren't about to go quietly.

D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) is a film noir drama film directed by Rudolph Maté, considered a classic of the stylistic genre. The frantically-paced plot revolves around a doomed man's quest to find out who has poisoned him – and why – before he dies. The film begins with a scene called "perhaps one of cinema's most innovative opening sequences" by a BBC reviewer. The scene is a long, behind-the-back tracking sequence featuring Frank Bigelow (O'Brien) walking through a hallway into a police station to report a murder: his own. Disconcertingly, the police almost seem to have been expecting him and already know who he is.

Yes it's called Queen of the Amazons, and yes its in black & white, and again yes its shot in 1947. So you you've decided to watch it anyway?? Great !!!!
With adding spoilers I loved the bad stunt double replacement towards the end. Its almost as if they realized and just didn't care there were two stunt guys for the hero, and none for the baddie, but we still went ahead anyway with the shoot. Its the classic Woman goes wandering into the jungle looking for her lost Fiance movie.

A cay (/ˈkiː/ or /ˈkeɪ/), also spelled caye or key, is a small, low-elevation, sandy island on the surface of a coral reef. Cays occur in tropical environments throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans (including in the Caribbean and on the Great Barrier Reef and Belize Barrier Reef).
Formation and composition
A cay forms when ocean currents transport loose sediment across the surface of a reef to a depositional node, where the current slows or converges with another current, releasing its sediment load. Gradually, layers of deposited sediment build up on the reef surface. Such nodes occur in windward or leeward areas of reef where surfaces sometimes occur around an emergent outcrop of old reef or beach rock.
The island resulting from sediment accumulation is made up almost entirely of biogenic sediment – the skeletal remains of plants and animals – from the surrounding reef ecosystems. If the accumulated sediments are predominantly sand, then the island is called a cay; if they are predominantly gravel, the island is called a motu.

Johnny Cash
Johnny "J.R." Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and author, who was widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide. Although primarily remembered as a country music icon, his genre-spanning songs and sound embraced rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel. This crossover appeal won Cash the rare honor of multiple inductions in the Country Music, Rock and Roll and Gospel Music Halls of Fame.
Cash was known for his deep, calm bass-baritone voice, the distinctive sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, a rebelliousness coupled with an increasingly somber and humble demeanor, free prison concerts, and a trademark look, which earned him the nickname "The Man in Black". He traditionally began his concerts with the simple "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash", followed by his signature "Folsom Prison Blues".

Cay Forrester
Cay Forrester (born Mila Patricia Crosby December 26, 1921 in Stockton, California died June 18, 2005) was an American film and television actress. She appeared predominantly in minor films with some exceptions, (Advise and Consent, and the Susan Hayward hit Smash Up: Story of a Woman).
Biography
Forrester made her debut as "Kay Forrester" in a 1943 Western Blazing Guns. Her biggest role was in the 1950 cult classic DOA, where Forrester played a married woman who tempts Edmond O'Brien. Shortly after this film she married producer Ludlow Flower Jr and retired from the big screen.
Forrester went on to write and co-star in the 1961 thriller Five Minutes to Live produced by her husband that was notable for the rare big-screen appearance of Johnny Cash. The film was re-released in 1966 under the title Door-to-Door Maniac Forrester was guest-starring on television shows up to the early 1970s. Her final films were two major disaster films with Charlton Heston; Two-Minute Warning and Airport 1975

Five Minutes to Live is a 1961 American neo noir crime film. It was re-titled Door-to-Door Maniac for a re-release in 1966. The film stars Johnny Cash and Cay Forrester, who wrote the screenplay and whose husband, Ludlow Flower, produced. Five Minutes to Live was one of only two theatrical film roles Cash performed on-screen in his career (A Gunfight, ten years later, was the other); he would appear in several made-for-television films and do some voice-over work in film later in his career. As his partner in crime, Fred Dorella (Vic Tayback), heads to the bank and tries to extort cash from executive Ken Wilson (Donald Woods), Johnny Cabot (Johnny Cash) kidnaps Wilson's wife, Nancy (Cay Forester). Fred tells Ken that, unless he hands over $70,000 in cash, Johnny will kill Nancy. Ken comes up with a ploy to buy some time for the police to assess the situation. With adding spoilers I loved the bad stunt double replacement towards the end. Its almost as if they realized and just didn't care there were two stunt guys for the hero, and none for the baddie, but we still went ahead anyway with the shoot. He is proven correct, as time ticks by, Wilson finally cracks and agrees to pay the ransom. Fred calls Cabot and starts the clock over again. As time ticks away, Fred works on Ken to collect the money so he can leave the bank safely. Meanwhile, at the Wilson house, Cabot is enjoying terrorizing his hostage. Forcing her to listen to him play songs about her impending demise, shooting at her and making sexual advances toward her (which she tries to use to aid her escape to no avail). Back at the bank, Fred has been taken down by the police who arrived after someone tripped the silent alarm. As a result, Cabot is getting nervous having not received his expected call from Fred. Suddenly, in walks Little Bobby (Ron Howard), home for lunch. Around this time the police finally arrive outside the Wilson house. In a panic, Cabot grabs Bobby and runs for it. He runs right into the yard and waiting police gunfire. Bobby pretends as though he's been shot in the fight in order to get Cabot to put him down. After apparently being very upset by the accidental shooting of the young boy, Cabot runs back into the fight and is killed by police. Nancy runs outside to find her son alive and well. The film ends with Mr. Wilson driving to Las Vegas, but with his wife instead of his, now former, mistress.

With adding spoilers I loved the bad stunt double replacement towards the end. Its almost as if they realized and just didn't care there were two stunt guys for the hero, and none for the baddie, but we still went ahead anyway with the shoot. Its the classic Woman goes wandering into the jungle looking for her lost Fiance movie.
