Stretton Westwood

Stretton Westwood is a hamlet in Shropshire, England.

It is located in the parish of Much Wenlock and is two miles southwest of the town, on the B4371 road to Church Stretton; its name derives from it being on the road to Stretton.

It lies near to Wenlock Edge and there are a number of quarries in the vicinity, some of which are operational whilst the rest are now disused.

Westwood is the general name for the area; close by to Stretton Westwood, but on the road to Bourton rather than to Church Stretton, is the smaller hamlet of Bourton Westwood, also in Much Wenlock parish. There was once a Westwood Halt railway station, on the now closed railway line.

Dacia Duster

The Dacia Duster is a compact SUV produced jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia since 2010. It is also marketed as the Renault Duster in certain markets, such as India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mexico, South Africa and in South America. It was officially launched at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and is the third model based on the Logan platform, after the Sandero.

In 2014, 40% of the Duster units sold worldwide were badged Dacia and 60% (70% in 2013) were sold under the Renault marque. In 2013, the Dacia Duster was the third best selling SUV in the world.

Design

The Duster was initially introduced in the ice racing version prepared for the Andros Trophy, presented for the first time on 17 November 2009. The production version was revealed to the media on 8 December 2009, and was subsequently launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.

Based on the B0 platform, the Duster measures 4.31 metres (169.7 in) in length, 1.82 metres (71.7 in) in width and has 210 mm (8.3 in) of ground clearance. Its luggage space has a volume of up to 475 litres (16.8 cu ft), while with the rear benchseat folded and tipped forward, its carrying ability can exceed 1,600 litres (57 cu ft).
