Police are appealing for information about the robbery of a bus driver at Macquarie Park in October last year.
About 11.30pm on Saturday 19 October 2013, the driver was inside a bus stopped at a bus bay outside Macquarie Centre.
Police were told a man entered the bus holding a beer bottle behind his back.
When the bus driver asked him to dispose of the bottle, the man allegedly became aggressive and took coins from the cash tray near the driver's seat and assaulted the driver.
The man then got off the bus and allegedly threw the beer bottle.
The man, and a woman with him, were last seen entering a taxi described as a white Ford station wagon stopped at a taxi rank nearby.
Police were alerted to the incident and commenced an investigation.
Detectives would now like to speak to a man and woman who may be able to help with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid 20s, about 160cm tall, and of muscular build with a 1cm scar or mark across the bridge of his nose.
He was last seen wearing three-quarter length grey pants and a dark T-shirt.
The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in her mid 20s, about 170cm tall, and of medium build with blonde shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing a dark purple, long-sleeved top and dark blue jeans.
The driver sustained minor cuts to his hand and grazes to his arm and knee, but did not require medical treatment.

Macquarie Park, New South Wales
Macquarie Park is a suburb in northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Macquarie Park is located 12 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Ryde. Macquarie Park is part of the Northern Suburbs region.
Macquarie Park was part of the suburb of North Ryde until it was gazetted as a suburb in its own right on 5 February 1999, and many businesses still use North Ryde as the address. Both suburbs share the 2113 postcode but Macquarie University, which is located at the northern part of the suburb, has its own postcode of 2109. Macquarie Park is also the location for the Lane Cove River Tourist Park where Home and Away now film the Summer Bay caravan park scenes.
History
The area between Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers was originally known by its Aboriginal name Wallumatta. The Aboriginal name survives in a local park, the Wallumatta Nature Reserve, located at the corner of Twin and Cressy Roads, North Ryde.

Park
A park is an area of natural, semi-natural, or planted space set aside for human enjoyment and recreation or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats. It may consist of grassy areas, rocks, soil, and trees, but may also contain buildings and other artifacts such as monuments, fountains or playground structures. In North America, many parks have fields for playing sports such as soccer, baseball and football, and paved areas for games such as basketball. Salvation Army Toy Run for the Mid North Coast Area which was rode on Saturday 15th November 2014. Beautiful hot sunny day we donated toys to kids who may not receive a toy for Christmas. We rode from LUSC, through Laurieton, along Ocean drive then along the beach roads into Port Macquarie. We finished at Westport park after riding through the town centre of Port Macquarie.
