Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato (born August 20, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. Her earliest roles included Angela on Barney & Friends, before she became better known for her starring roles in the Camp Rock movies, as Sonny Munroe in the Disney sitcom Sonny with a Chance, and as the star of the 2009 movie Princess Protection Program. She is also involved in philanthropic activities through charity work and various social and environmental causes.
As a solo musical artist, Lovato released her debut album Don't Forget on September 23, 2008. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 selling 89,000 copies in the first week. It has since shipped over 500,000 copies, earning a gold certification in the United States. Lovato released her second album, Here We Go Again, on July 21, 2009. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 108,000 copies in the first week. Her third studio album, Unbroken, was released on September 20, 2011 and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. She is working on her fourth studio album.

Céline Marie Claudette Dion, CC OQ, (French pronunciation: [selin djɔ̃] (
listen); born March 30, 1968), is a Canadian singer. Born to a large family from Charlemagne, Quebec, Dion emerged as a teen star in the French-speaking world after her manager and future husband René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990, she released the English-language album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English-speaking areas of the world.
Dion had first gained international recognition in the 1980s by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. Following a series of French albums in the early 1980s, she signed on to CBS Records Canada in 1986. During the 1990s, with the help of Angélil, she achieved worldwide fame after signing with Epic Records and releasing several English albums along with additional French albums, becoming one of the most successful artists in pop music history. However, in 1999 at the height of her success, Dion announced a hiatus from entertainment in order to start a family and spend time with her husband, who had been diagnosed with cancer. She returned to the top of pop music in 2002 and signed a three-year (later extended to almost five years) contract to perform nightly in a five-star theatrical show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Paradise, Nevada.

Plot: Maxime and Gerard are a couple of white-collar criminals condemned to 5 years in prison. Tra stanze affrescate, fucili e lunghe braccia conquistate tra i vari livelli del gioco, i due, interfacciati dalle console, si aggirano tra sterminate stanze e rampe di scale fino a ritrovarsi insieme sul tetto della villa per il match finale.
Uno sci-fi movie anni settanta con dentro l'estetica di Wes Anderson, l'immaginario di Gondry e la follia paranoica di David Lynch. Nonostante quest'affermazione un pò manichea lo sguardo di Giacomo Triglia (già regista dei videoclip di Cristina Donà, Eugenio Finardi, Brunori Sas) riesce come sempre a sintetizzare il tutto in modo elegante e geniale.

CURIOSITA' DEL DESERTO DEL SAHARA EGIZIANO
La sabbia è costantemente sollevata, trascinata e trasportata via in turbini vorticosi.
Così le dune del deserto dell'Egitto si formano, si modellano, mutano secondo il soffiare dei venti.
Sollevate dal vento, le particelle più piccole di sabbia rimangono sospese a mezz'aria; quelle di media grandezza compiono salti in avanti di 2 o 3 metri e quando ricadono ne mandano in aria altre; quelle più grandi vengono sospinte raso terra.
Secondo l'andamento dei venti, avremo dei tipi particolari di dune.
Le dune a forma di stella si originano nei punti in cui confluiscono venti forti da diverse direzioni.
Le dune a mezza luna, chiamate anche barcane, sono create dai venti forti che accumulano la sabbia intorno agli ostacoli incontrati.
Le dune a spada si formano dove la sabbia è più abbondante e sono parallele alla direzione dei venti dominanti.
Le dune longitudinali sono dovute ai venti più deboli e sono perpendicolari alla direzione dei venti dominanti.
I granelli di sabbia più piccoli sono ammassati dal vento in dune alte anche 200 metri che danno origine al deserto sabbioso, detto erg.
La sabbia, infatti, è formata solo dalle particelle comprese tra 0,15 e 0,40 millimetri di diametro: il vento non riesce a sollevare quelle più grandi, e disperde solo quelle piccole
Nel deserto dell'Egitto occidentale incontriamo un altro tipo di deserto chiamato reg, che si è formato dall'erosione continua e costante dei rilievi da parte del vento e dagli sbalzi di temperatura fra il giorno e la notte, lasciando il posto a immensi pianori ricoperti di sassi, ciottoli, particolarmente inospitali.
Solo poche forme di vegetazione, come l'acacia spinosa, riesce a sopravvivere in queste pianure.
Ed è proprio un'acacia spinosa enorme quella che abbiamo incontrato dopo due giorni di viaggio nel deserto.
E' incredibile come questa acacia possa sopravvivere in mezzo a tanta aridità e senza acqua.
Le nostre guide beduine ci dicono che quest'acacia ha più di cento anni, e in effetti il suo tronco è robusto, la sua chioma è molto frondosa e sembra molto vecchia.
Queste acacie abbiamo radici molto estese e profonde per succhiare acqua dalle falde sotterranee anche in profondità.
Vi ricordate i vecchi film western, magari quelli di John Ford, dove si vedevano quelle splendide inquadrature su vaste porzioni di deserto, dove si vedevano rotolare cespugli di erba secca?
Ebbene, quel tipo di erba la incontri anche nel deserto egiziano e basta un leggero soffio di vento per vederla rotolare.
Questa erba si chiama Salsola kali. Si lascia andare, molla gli ormeggi (se così possiamo dire) per cercare acqua o umidità da altre parti. Esternamente il groviglio sembra composto da sterpaglia secca e morta, ma se il terreno sul quale si fermano è adatto, può riattaccare le radici al suolo e ritornare a vivere perché al suo interno scorre ancora linfa vitale che viene subito attivata.
Questa sembra una buona una strategia di sopravvivenza.
