Grog is any of a variety of alcoholic beverages. The word originally referred to a drink made with water or "small beer" (a weak beer), lemon or lime juice, and rum, which British Vice Admiral Edward Vernon introduced into the Royal Navy on 21 August 1740. Vernon wore a coat of grogram cloth and was nicknamed Old Grogram or Old Grog. However, Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, which agrees with this story of the word's origin, states that the word "grog" was first used in this sense in 1770, though other sources cite 1749. The citrus juice was added to prevent spoilage, then it was also found to prevent scurvy, two reasons to continue the practice.
In modern times the term "grog" has had a variety of meanings in a number of different cultures.
Modern versions of the drink are often made with hot or boiling water, and sometimes include lemon juice, lime juice, cinnamon, or sugar to improve the taste. Additionally in the USA, Apple cider is sometimes substituted for water. Rum with water, sugar, and nutmeg was known as bumbo and was more popular with pirates and merchantmen. By contrast, in Australia and New Zealand, the word has come to mean any alcoholic drink.

Samuel Martins Torres Santiago Mira (born July 17, 1979), better known by his stage name Sam the Kid (STK), is a Portuguese rapper and producer.
Mira's albums are normally named according to words which when broken apart present a completely different meaning.Although Mira's first album, Entre(tanto), had been released in 1999, his second album, Sobre(tudo), attracted the attention of the recently created Loop Recordings, which offered him a contract. It was his third album, released at the end of 2001, the instrumental Beats Vol. 1: Amor, that began to notice a significant level of success, being considered by fans and critics to be one of the greatest Portuguese releases of the year. 2001 proved to be an important and active period for Portuguese hip-hop, and Sam the Kid was one of the most significant artists that year, joining names such as Mind da Gap, Bullet, Chullage, Micro and Valete. "Beats Vol. 1" Was followed up by "Pratica(mente)" in 2006.

Plot: To add flavor to her rock soup, the Fat Broad commands Wiley, Peter, Thor, etc. to catch a turkey. The problem is that no one knows what a turkey is except for the turkey himself. In spite of this, the chase is on. Mostly a series of running gags, this animated special did a superb job of capturing the humor of Johnny Hart's B.C. comic strip.

This is one of my favorite Grog moments. It's from Critical Role RPG Show Episode 11: The Temple Showdown From 1h49m28 to 1h53m36
Grog never suspected, the power of that old cracked urn he found, but when he put it on his head, he began to dance around.
I own nothing. Just sharing an awesome moment from an awesome show.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Album comes out on June 2, 2012. (all this time travel has got me a little disoriented.) I did a little research, and found out how to make Grog. Here is the recipe. You'll need: 1 shot of rum 1 - 2 heaping tablespoons concentrated lime juice 1 1/2 cups water 1 dirty glass optional: sparkling water more shots of rum THIS JUST IN: our GENIOUS guitar player josh just pointed out that by carbonating Grog, we are essentially making Aether Grog!

Miscellaneous
Bar Scene Part One
There's no water and I'm sitting in a bar by myself
And the lights are reflecting off those silver jangly pieces
The fat man's dog keeps biting at my heels
Now I'm through with standing, let the fat man lay me down
Chorus
From across the carpet crawls a tutu, with a drinks tray
With a white piece of paper, a message from a dead friend
The words I could not decipher
But the meaning was hard to misunderstand
Then with her lips to my ear, she told me what he had said...
Chorus
You take it away, you take it away
Sometimes things just move that way
You take it away, you take it away
Sometimes things just move that way
Sometimes things just move that way
