Damn that NJT weekend schedule... To get from Convent Station to Metropark via SEC Junction, I have to wait an hour for the transfer. This is because the M&E; train arrives at SEC Junction 2 min after the Trenton train leaves. Oh well, at least I managed to catch a few NJT runs. Only two Amtrak runs here (Acela Express 2203 and Northeast Regional 153). Can you find them? Enjoy =)

As I was returning home from New York City I decided to check out some of the NJ Transit specials running to and from the Meadowlands for the Super Bowl! The Super Bowl trains consisted of an ALP-45DP pushing or pulling 10 multilevel cars. Some of the trains had special graphics on them while others stayed normal.
It was great to see all the different graphics that where displayed on the trains.

On my way home from Union, I had to wait at Secaucus Junction for my train to pull in at 6:30. To kill the time, I chose to film some of the trains passing through and pulling in. I decided to ignore the eastbound trains and focus only on the westbound trains. In addition, due to the sheer volume of trains passing through, I can't really identify train numbers for some of them.
1: Multilevel II Cab Car 7058 leads Train 3955 into the station, running 4 minutes behind schedule. ALP-46A 4635 is at the end.
2: Northeast Regional 193 cruises past with AEM-7 941 on the point, running 7 minutes late.
3: Train 3171 slowly rolls in, led by Arrow III 1468. Trailing is Unit 1462.
4: Acela Express 2167 passes by with Power Cars 2033 and 2027, running nearly an hour late.
5: ALP-46A 4655 pulls an express train slowly past the station, meeting an eastbound express train/deadhead. Cab Car 7002 is at the end of the express, and Cab Car 7011 is at the end of the eastbound train.
6: Train 6651 cruises through, led by ALP-46A 4630. Cab Car 7006 is behind 4630, and Cab Car 7003 is trailing.
7: Cab Car 6069 leads Train 3271 in. ALP-46A 4638 brings up the rear.
8: Train 3729 rolls through with Arrow III 1504 leading the way, running 7-10 minutes late. Trailing is Arrow III 1427.
9: Acela Express 2119 cruises through with Power Cars 2024 and 2021, running 6 minutes behind schedule.
10: Cab Car 7019 leads Train 3957 through the station. Trailing is ALP-46 4605.
11: Train 3373 arrives with ALP-45DP 4508 on the point, running 7 minutes late. This is one of the new trains that provide direct service from New York to Bay Head. Train 3266 can be seen departing as 3373 pulls in, led by Cab Car 7014 and running about 6 minutes late. ALP-46 4610 is at the end of 3266, and bringing up the rear of 3373 is Multilevel Cab Car 7037.
12: Cab Car 6072 leads a westbound train through the station. ALP-45DP 4518 is trailing, and Cab Car 5012 is in front of it.
13: A westbound train crawls past, led by Cab Car 6026. ALP-46 4608 powers the set, and Cab Car 5011 is in front of it.

On my way home from Union, I had to wait at Secaucus Junction for my train to pull in at 6:30. To kill the time, I chose to film some of the trains passing through and pulling in. I decided to ignore the eastbound trains and focus only on the westbound trains.
