Ouzoud waterfalls, Azilal, Morocco
Ouzoud Waterfalls (Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco.
Ouzoud means "the act of grinding grain" in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region.
The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use. One can also follow a narrow and difficult track leading to the road of Beni Mellal. While descending the gorges from the "wadi el-Abid" in a canyon sometimes one does not distinguish the bottom which is nearly 600 metres down.
It is the most visited site of the region. In the vicinity, green valleys, mills, orchards and a superb circuit of the gorges of the El Abid River (in Arabic, "Slaves' River" ) are found. Many local and national associations lead projects to protect and preserve the site.

Cette région est d'ailleurs particulièrement connue pour la beauté de ses paysages.
Tous les ans, en été, les habitants des vallées alentours viennent célébrer, chacun à leur tour, le marabout enterré dans la qoubba au toit vert.

Last weekend I visited Ouzoud I and my friends, It is marvelous place. We enjoyed time playing guitars, many tourist like it especially with the sound of waterfalls coming from high mountains of Grand Atlas.
Ouzoud Waterfalls (French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco.
Ouzoud means "the act of grinding grain" in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region.
The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use. One can also follow a narrow and difficult track leading to the road of Beni Mellal. While descending the gorges from the "wadi el-Abid" in a canyon sometimes one does not distinguish the bottom which is nearly 600 metres down.

Una buena parte de los 300 chalets y 2700 apartamentos que hay en complejo pueden acoger ya a sus primeros residentes. Por su parte, el puerto deportivo ha puesto en servicio 800 amarres La región de Mediterrania Saïdia cuenta con unas bellas y largas playas, de hecho el paseo marítimo de la estación tiene 6 km de largo. Además, en sus alrededores hay algunos lugares interesantes para visitar como la ciudad de Oujda en la que, aunque cuente con un parco patrimonio monumental, se respiran los aromas del Marruecos más profundo.

Zaouiat Ahansal est un petit et très joli village, dans la province d'Azilal, adossé à une barrière de falaises ocres dominant les eaux tumultueuses d'un torrent frangé de verdure.
Cette région est d'ailleurs particulièrement connue pour la beauté de ses paysages.
Tous les ans, en été, les habitants des vallées alentours viennent célébrer, chacun à leur tour, le marabout enterré dans la qoubba au toit vert.
Vous entendrez aussi, dans le village, à travers les moucharabiehs de la Zaouiat, les chants lancinants des femmes répondant aux hommes.

Last weekend I visited Ouzoud I and my friends, It is marvelous place. We enjoyed time playing guitars, many tourist like it especially with the sound of waterfalls coming from high mountains of Grand Atlas.
Ouzoud Waterfalls (French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco.
Ouzoud means "the act of grinding grain" in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region.
The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use. One can also follow a narrow and difficult track leading to the road of Beni Mellal. While descending the gorges from the "wadi el-Abid" in a canyon sometimes one does not distinguish the bottom which is nearly 600 metres down.
It is the most visited site of the region. In the vicinity, green valleys, mills, orchards and a superb circuit of the gorges of the El Abid River (in Arabic, "Slaves' River" ) are found. Many local and national associations lead projects to protect and preserve the site.

Mediterrania Saïdia, en Marruecos, es un complejo turístico de alto nivel que cuenta con el tercer puerto deportivo del Mediterráneo en número de amarres. Este destino cuenta con nueve hoteles de alta categoría (dos hoteles de 5* y siete de 4*), ocho residencias turísticas, así como doce colonias de vacaciones. En total, la capacidad de acogida será de 17.000 camas. En junio de 2009 abrieron ya sus puertas el primer hotel cinco estrellas del proyecto, que pertenece a la cadena Barceló, y un 4* de Iberostar. Una buena parte de los 300 chalets y 2700 apartamentos que hay en complejo pueden acoger ya a sus primeros residentes. Por su parte, el puerto deportivo ha puesto en servicio 800 amarres La región de Mediterrania Saïdia cuenta con unas bellas y largas playas, de hecho el paseo marítimo de la estación tiene 6 km de largo. Además, en sus alrededores hay algunos lugares interesantes para visitar como la ciudad de Oujda en la que, aunque cuente con un parco patrimonio monumental, se respiran los aromas del Marruecos más profundo.
