New Suicide Squad Pics & Character Descriptions Subscribe Now! ► http://bit.ly/SubClevverMovies The Suicide Squad’s rap sheets are in and we’ve got the details right now on Clevver News Feed. Though we’ve learned plenty about the Joker, Harley Quinn and Enchantress, there hasn’t been much information on the rest of the Squad – until now! We’ve been able to guess at some of the various characters’ back stories thanks to the comics, but a new Empire Magazine cover story is shedding some new light on the characters that will make up “Task Force X”. We know that Viola Davis will play “Amanda Waller”, the government official who is the brainchild behind the Suicide Squad and Davis describes as relentless in her evil ways. Though she has no superpowers, Davis explained her power lies in her intelligence and ruthlessness to get ahead, which eventually leads her to forming Task Force X for morally questionable purposes and also allows her to inject her unwilling participants in the neck with nanobombs that she threatens to explode if they don’t comply with no remorse. Being so bad, Waller has no problem surrounding herself with many of the same. Actor Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays famous Batman villain, “Killer Croc” in the film and while he’s usually known for being a big, dumb menace, the actor says there’s a little more to the “cannibal with rage issues.” Joining Croc will be Karen Fukhara as “Katana”, whom the actress describes as a sword wielding killer with a moral agenda. While the other members of the Task Force have been pretty much forced to participate, Katana actually volunteers to be a member of the team and fans of the comics will be happy to hear that her ability to trap the souls of her victims in her sword will be utilized in the film. Though there’s been little seen of Adam Beach’s “Slipknot”, the actor describes him as someone who can climb anything and hang people from there and as you can guess from his name, he’s really good with knots. Jay Hernandez will be playing “Chato Santana” aka “El Diablo”, whom the actor says is the only guy who isn’t really jumping at the chance to kill people when he’s let loose. Jai Courtney, who has been showing up in pretty much every movie lately, will be playing the not so cool sounding “Captain Boomerang”. Though we don’t know too much about him outside of his love for boomerangs, Jai says director David Ayer advised him to quote “Find your inner shitbag” for the role. Not much to go on, but definitely gives us an idea of the kind of guy we’re going to be dealing with. The person leading this band of misfits on the ground will be Joel Kinnaman’s “Rick Flagg”, a character the actor says is working at the highest level of operation in the government, killing as many people as he’s lost in his life. Kinnaman reveals that the Task Force X team member that will be giving Flagg the most trouble will be Will Smith’s “Deadshot”. Smith explained to Empire that the film opens with him getting a huge score, offering up a chance for him to restart life with his daughter, but the mission goes wrong and lands him in Waller’s company. That storyline is very in-line with the character in the comics, but Smith also revealed another storyline that aligns with what we saw in the animated film, Assault on Arkham. According to Smith, Deadshot will have his eyes on Margot Robbie’s “Harley Quinn” with a possible love triangle between Harley, Deadshot and Jared Leto’s “Joker”. I don’t know about you, but The Joker is probably the last person I’d want to be stuck in a love triangle with.
