Plot: Shankar Narayana is an honest politician who meets with a near-fatal accident. Some years later, Shankar's son Ajay has grown up to become a police officer. Back in India, Shankar finally awakes from a long coma. Ajay creates an elaborate home-life charade to shield his still-fragile father from any stress or shock. Plot: Abhimanyu alias Manu lives in a small town in India with his dad, Shyam Lal, mom, and unmarried sister, Tulsi. When the lecherous son, Pannalal, of wealthy Ram and Parvati, returns home, he is taken in by Tulsi's beauty and forces himself upon her, leaving her to commit suicide, but Ram saves her just in time. When Manu finds out that Pannalal is responsible for Tulsi's state, he goes to plead with Pannalal to marry Tulsi, he scoffs at and humiliates him. Ram, Tulsi, Pyare, their friend, Ram and his U.S. returned wealthy industrialist friend, G.S. Parmeshwaran, then get together and plot against Pannalal - which results in Pannalal getting married to Tulsi; and Ram's daughter, Geeta, getting married to Manu. Enraged at this deception, Pannalal swears revenge, and takes Tulsi with him to his mistress, Lalita, and asks her to serve her, which Tulsi agrees to do. But Pannalal is not satisfied with this - for his aim is to marry Lalita - at any cost - even if it means killing Tulsi.

Bharat used to love Sneh, but she married wealthy Vijay Kapoor, leaving him embittered. Then things change for the better when Bharat wins a 10 Lakh Rupee lottery. They pay off their mortgage, move into a bigger house, Ram gets plastic surgery and an artificial leg, while Bharat gets ready to get engaged to Pooja, his co-worker. Plot: When Jailer Vishwanath Pratap Singh slaps arch-criminal Dr. Michael Deng, he does not realize he has re-shaped his own future, as soon after his two sons, and daughter-in-law are mercilessly gunned down by Deng's men; his youngest son is crippled; and his wife, Rukmani loses her vocal chords. Plot: Hindi-speaking collegian Sapna lives a wealthy lifestyle in Dona Paula, near Panaji, Goa, India, along with her Professor dad, Kundanlal, and mom. Their immediate neighbors are Tamil-speaking vegetarian tenants, V. Sivaramakrishan, his wife, Vandana and son, Vasudevan, and detest the Kundanlals' meat-eating habits. Both families are aghast with surprise and anger when they find out that Sapna and Vasudevan are in love with each other. Plot: In a small town in the state of Punjab, India, lives a honest farm worker, Harnek Singh alias Nek, who works hard for his employer, Jagirdar Joginder Singh. One day the Jagirdar asks his assistant, Tulsi, to send Nek out of town for about 20-25 days. When Nek returns home, Joginder is pleased with him and allocates 6 acres of land so that he can be independent, and marry Kammo. A delighted Nek marries Kammo and they settle down to a harmonious married lifestyle. Soon Kammo becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son, Raju. It is then that their world is turned upside down when Nek finds out that the child is not his but that of Joginder, who had raped Kammo in his absence. Angered he kills a man named Kanhaiya, is arrested, tried in Court, and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Nek breaks off all ties with Kammo, suspecting her of infidelity. Years later, Raju has grown up and is in love with a beautiful woman named Chandni who he wants to marry. When he tells his mother about her, she refuses to giver her permission and blessings, but instead wants him to marry another village belle by the name of Nimmi, who she approves of. Watch what happens when Raju persists in knowing what is the reason why his mother does not approve of Chandni.

Plot: After the retirement of his dad, the onus is on Bharat to look after the Delhi-based family. He has two younger college-going brothers, Deepak and Vijay, and a sister of marriage age, Radha. Vijay takes step to secure his own future, by turning to crime, which is strongly opposed by Bharat, and as a result Vijay leaves the house. Mohan is Sheetal's boss, and finds her very attractive. When he proposes marriage, she accepts, and soon both are married. This leaves Bharat devastated, unable to deal with life, and unable to afford the basic needs of Roti (food), Kapada (Clothing), and Makaan (Shelter), he must now decide to carry on honestly, or otherwise.
