David Bedella
David Bedella (born September 25, 1962) is an American TV and musical stage actor, perhaps best known for his Olivier award winning role in the controversial Jerry Springer - The Opera. With a baritone voice he can successfully hit notes well into the bass, tenor and the countertenor range.
Life and career
Bedella was born in Chicago, Illinois. Having graduated from Merrillville High School in Merrillville, Indiana he had roles in Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neeley from 1992 to 1995, where he played Caiaphas, in 2000 HMS Pinafore and Brutus in a 2002 productions of Oh What A Night With Luke B.
Bedella then won his most famous role in Jerry Springer - The Opera, where he played both the Warm Up Man "Jonathan Wierus"(in the First Act) named after the 15th century occultist Johann Weyer and Satan in the Second Act. For this role, Bedella received the 2004 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
Bedella then appeared a recurring role as the plastic surgeon Dr. Carlos Fashola in 2004 in the British hospital drama Holby City. He then went on to play the title role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and had a 16-month run playing Frank N Furter in the 2006/2007 UK tour of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show.

David
David (/ˈdeɪvɪd/; Hebrew: דָּוִד, Modern David, Tiberian Dāwîḏ;ISO 259-3 Dawid; Arabic: داوُد Dāwūd; Syriac: ܕܘܝܕ Dawid; Ancient Greek: Δαυίδ; Latin: Davidus, David; Strong's: Daveed) was, according to the Books of Samuel, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and according to the New Testament, an ancestor of Jesus. His life is conventionally dated to c. 1040 – 970 BCE, his reign over Judah c. 1010–970 BCE.
The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.

The Rocky Horror Show
The Rocky Horror Show is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through to the early 1970s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist unveiling his new creation, a sort of Frankenstein-style monster in the form of an artificially made, fully grown, physically perfect muscle man named Rocky Horror, complete "with blond hair and a tan".
Produced and directed by Jim Sharman, the original London production of the musical premiered at the Royal Court Theatre (Upstairs) on 16 June 1973 before moving to several other locations in London and closing on 13 September 1980, running for a total of 2,960 performances and winning the 1973 Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical. Its 1974 debut in the US in Los Angeles had a successful nine-month run but its 1975 Broadway debut at the Belasco Theatre lasted only three previews and forty five showings despite earning one Tony nomination and three Drama Desk nominations. Various international productions have since spanned across six continents as well as West End and Broadway revivals and eight UK tours.

Well I'm pretty sure none of you were expecting this from me, eh? I finally tell you all my thoughts on the latest series of Thomas & Friends which had gotten a lot of acclaim by many of the E2 0-6-0 locomotive's fans. All the episodes in the video will be summed up with the plot and my thoughts afterwards trying to squeeze them into one minute per episode. Don't remind me about some of the video errors, I know about them, so keep shut. Substantially rewritten and retitled Bounce, the show opened on June 20, 2003 at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. The production was directed by Harold Prince, with choreography by Michael Arnold, set design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Miguel Angel Huidor, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and hair design by David H. Lawrence. A new production of the musical, titled Road Show, rewritten without an intermission and without the leading female character of Nellie (who had been added for 2003 production), opened Off-Broadway at The Public Theater's Newman Theater in previews on October 28, 2008, officially opening on November 18, and closing December 28, 2008. John Doyle was the director and designer, with Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani playing brothers Wilson and Addison Mizner respectively, Alma Cuervo as Mama, Claybourne Elder as Hollis, and William Parry as Papa.[8][9][10] This production won the 2009 Obie Award for Music and Lyrics.[11] and the Drama Desk Award, Outstanding Lyrics (Sondheim).[12]
The title changes reflect the creators' attempts to hone the show's story and themes. "Ideally the title is connected to what we hope the show is about," Weidman says.[13]
The musical opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory, London in previews on June 24, 2011, officially on July 6 and closed on September 18. John Doyle was the director and designer, with a cast featuring Michael Jibson, David Bedella and Jon Robyns.[14]
The US regional premier opened at Stages Repertory Theater in Houston, Texas on May 22, 2013, directed by Kenn McLaughlin. The cast featured Tom Frey and L. Jay Meyer, playing Wilson and Addison Mizner, respectively, along with Susan Shofner as Mama, Jimmy Phillips as Papa, and Michael McClure as Hollis. Rounding out the cast were Cameron Bautsch, Bridget Bierne, Hunter Frederick, Sarah Myers, Amanda Parker, Amanda Passanante, Tom Prior and Brandon Whitley.[15]
A Chicago version opened at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on March 13, 2014, starring Andrew Rothenberg as Wilson and Michael Aaron Lidner as Addison.

After beating Gordon the Big Engine in a race to Vicarstown Station, Thomas the Tank Engine is introduced to Gordon's brother, The Flying Scotsman, who is taking part in The Great Railway Show on the Mainland, encouraging Thomas to try and take part as well. Though every engine on Sodor wants to take part, Sir Topham Hatt has not made up his mind yet, and Thomas fears he won't be picked to go to the competition. But after getting an idea to be streamlined for the competition, he passes his idea on to Sir Topham Hatt, who chooses Gordon to be streamlined instead.
At Brendam Docks, Thomas has a run-in with several of the competitors for The Great Railway Show (Teresa Gallagher, David Bedella & Rob Rackstraw) when their rail ferry docks there by mistake, and as a result, one of them is left behind. The engine, a beautifully-painted one from India named Ashima (Tina Desai), makes a bad first impression on Thomas after almost making him fall off the dock, but upon getting another idea regarding her paintwork from Annie and Clarabel, he heads to the Steamworks to be repainted, but is forced to reveal his new idea to Sir Topham Hatt, who selects James and Emily to be repainted instead. Running into Ashima again after learning she took Annie and Clarabel down his branch line, Thomas is convinced by her to just be himself and take part in the shunting challenge at The Great Railway Show since he is so good at shunting.
However, thanks to a trick by Diesel involving Den, Dart, and Paxton, Thomas suffers an accident with Norman at Knapford Junction, and has to be left behind to have his front end mended while Percy takes his place. In the end, Thomas is able to go, despite not being fully repaired when he discovers that Gordon left without his safety valve being properly installed while he was being streamlined, which means his boiler could overheat at high speeds.
At The Great Railway Show, Henry loses the strength competition, James and Emily lose the Best Decorated Engine award to Ashima's fellow engine from India, Rajiv, and due to not waiting to have his safety valve installed, Gordon's boiler explodes and he loses the race. Thomas takes Percy's place in the shunting competition, but sacrifices his chances to win when he sees Ashima's track blocked by a derailed flatbed and switches tracks with her so he hits the flatbed instead. However, the judges decide to award Thomas the win alongside Ashima for his excellent sportsmanship. Sir Topham Hatt and the other Sodor engines are very proud of Thomas.
With The Great Railway Show over, Thomas invites Ashima to come back to Sodor to catch her ferry home to India there, allowing her to spend some more time with her new friends while Diesel, stuck in a crate, sails away on a ship leaving Sodor.

Hero of the Rails is a 2009 CGI feature-length special and film spin-off of the TV series Thomas & Friends.
One summer on the Island of Sodor, Spencer (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: Glenn Wrage) arrives to help the Duke (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: William Hope) and Duchess (voiced by UK: Teresa Gallagher/US: Jules de Jongh) with the construction of their new summer house. After being an absolute nuisance to all of the other engines by teasing and bossing them around, Thomas (voiced by UK: Ben Small/US: Martin Sherman) accepts Spencer's challenge to a contest of strength, taking heavy cargo around the island. Thomas's brakes fail after climbing a tall hill, and he runs out of control through an overgrown, abandoned line. There, Thomas finds an old abandoned Japanese engine named Hiro (voiced by Togo Igawa). Hiro doesn't want the Fat Controller (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) to find out, fearing he will be scrapped, so Thomas promises to keep him his secret and work to make Hiro "Master of the Railway" once again. Later, he's taken to the Sodor Steamworks for repairs, where he finds old parts for Hiro. He takes them with permission from Victor (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: David Bedella), the Steamworks engine, only to discover that Hiro's hiding place is dangerously close to the Duke and Duchess's new summer house.
The following day, Thomas tells Percy (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Martin Sherman) about Hiro, and asks him to do his own job while he helps Hiro. Percy misplaces his own mail trucks and breaks down while doing Thomas's job, so Thomas brings him to the Steamworks. The Fat Controller finds out about this and scolds Thomas by forcing him to do Percy's work. With nobody else to ask for help, Thomas tells the rest of his friends about Hiro. They all work together in bringing Hiro new parts, distracting Spencer, and keeping the operation a secret from the Fat Controller while Thomas and Percy try to find the missing mail trucks. Hiro makes friends with all of the engines, but gradually grows homesick. On the day that the last necessary part for Hiro is to be delivered, Spencer discovers Percy's mail trucks, only to be cornered by Thomas, James (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) and Toby (voiced by UK: Ben Small/US: William Hope). The Fat Controller accuses Spencer of stealing the trucks and demands he return them to Percy.
While Thomas and Hiro wait for Percy with the last part, they hear Spencer's whistle and run. Spencer finds them and gives chase, but without the last part, Hiro falls apart and is forced to a stop. Spencer is suddenly distracted by Gordon (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) while Thomas moves Hiro to a new hiding place. The Duke and Duchess are furious with Spencer for abandoning his own work, and Thomas asks to assist him, in order to keep his eye on Spencer and to gain the trust of the Fat Controller. Meanwhile, the other engines visit Hiro to keep his spirits up. When Thomas finally decides to tell the Fat Controller about Hiro, Spencer tries to stop him, but he is foiled by a rickety bridge which collapses beneath him.
When Thomas explains Hiro's situation to the Fat Controller, he reassures Thomas that he would never have scrapped the "Master of the Railway", and the following day, Thomas and Percy bring him to the Steamworks. There, Victor and his assistant, Kevin the Crane (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: Kerry Shale), work together to restore Hiro. Once he's as good as new, Hiro with Rocky (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: Glenn Wrage) rescues Spencer, and they work with Thomas on the summerhouse. Spencer apologizes to the two engines, saying they are "both fine engines and fine friends." Hiro misses his home island, so the Fat Controller arranges for Hiro to return home. A farewell party is held at the docks, and Thomas promises Hiro that Sodor will always be his home too.

Well I'm pretty sure none of you were expecting this from me, eh?
I finally tell you all my thoughts on the latest series of Thomas & Friends which had gotten a lot of acclaim by many of the E2 0-6-0 locomotive's fans. All the episodes in the video will be summed up with the plot and my thoughts afterwards trying to squeeze them into one minute per episode.
Don't remind me about some of the video errors, I know about them, so keep shut.
My thoughts on the voice cast (as I forgot to add that to the video):
The voice cast for the UK is good as usual, however with Rupert Degas gone from the cast, Ben Small does a good Flynn voice although it's not quite the strong American accent that Rupert gave him which suits him a bit more, it could do with a little bit more tweaking, Bertie's voice is fine though, Keith Wickham makes him sound like his original voice actor. I must say, thank God they changed Victor's UK voice to the US' David Bedella (this was since BMM) since his UK voice just didn't suit him in the slightest, it was over the top. His US voice makes him in character much more and the best voice actor replacement Sharon Miller has ever done. I do wish that Butch's voice was changed to his US one though, as you'd think that this would happen, but nope, he still has his UK voice. Steve Kynman's Duck voice is made to perfection, 'nuff said. Jonathan Broadbent is an exquisite addition to the voice cast and makes his Bill and Ben voices sound like young Birmingham teenagers about to cause mischief (no, not smoking or drinking alcohol...). The UK voice cast gets a rating of 9.5/10. US on the other hand gets the same rating (and no, Duck and the twins' voices haven't changed in the US version).

We chat to the cast of In the Heights
We popped into rehearsals for In the Heights earlier this week to find out how the cast and creatives were getting on ahead of opening next week. Sam Mackay leads the cast of the WhatsOnStage Award-nominated show, returning to the role of Usnavi opposite Sugababes star Jade Ewen as Vanessa. Reprising their roles following the sell-out run at the Southwark Playhouse last year are David Bedella (Kevin), Josie Benson (Camila), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Daniela), Sarah Naudi (Carla) and Eve Polycarpou (Abuela). We popped into rehearsals for In the Heights earlier this week to find out how the cast and creatives were getting on ahead of opening next week.
Sam Mackay leads the cast of the WhatsOnStage Award-nominated show, returning to the role of Usnavi opposite Sugababes star Jade Ewen as Vanessa.
Reprising their roles following the sell-out run at the Southwark Playhouse last year are David Bedella (Kevin), Josie Benson (Camila), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Daniela), Sarah Naudi (Carla) and Eve Polycarpou (Abuela).
They are joined by Lily Frazer (Nina), Antoine Murray-Straughan (Graffiti Pete), Joe Aaron Reid (Benny) and Cleve September (Sonny). The cast also includes Jocasta Almgill, Courtney-Mae Briggs, Michael Cortez, Gabriela Garcia, Reiss Hinds, Alexandra Sarmiento and Spin.
Featuring music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda - whose new show Hamilton is currently taking Broadway by storm - and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes, In the Heights is billed as "an exhilarating journey into Washington Heights, one of Manhattan's most vibrant communities".
The production is directed by Luke Sheppard with choreography by Drew McOnie, musical supervision by Tom Deering, set design by takis and casting by Will Burton. It is produced in London by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment Ltd and Paul Taylor Mills Ltd.
In the Heights opens at the King's Cross Theatre on 3 October and runs for a limited four week period until 1st November 2015.

Well I'm pretty sure none of you were expecting this from me, eh? I finally tell you all my thoughts on the latest series of Thomas & Friends which had gotten a lot of acclaim by many of the E2 0-6-0 locomotive's fans. All the episodes in the video will be summed up with the plot and my thoughts afterwards trying to squeeze them into one minute per episode. Don't remind me about some of the video errors, I know about them, so keep shut. Well I'm pretty sure none of you were expecting this from me, eh?
I finally tell you all my thoughts on the latest series of Thomas & Friends which had gotten a lot of acclaim by many of the E2 0-6-0 locomotive's fans. All the episodes in the video will be summed up with the plot and my thoughts afterwards trying to squeeze them into one minute per episode.
Don't remind me about some of the video errors, I know about them, so keep shut.
My thoughts on the voice cast (as I forgot to add that to the video):
The voice cast for the UK is good as usual, however with Rupert Degas gone from the cast, Ben Small does a good Flynn voice although it's not quite the strong American accent that Rupert gave him which suits him a bit more, it could do with a little bit more tweaking, Bertie's voice is fine though, Keith Wickham makes him sound like his original voice actor. I must say, thank God they changed Victor's UK voice to the US' David Bedella (this was since BMM) since his UK voice just didn't suit him in the slightest, it was over the top. His US voice makes him in character much more and the best voice actor replacement Sharon Miller has ever done. I do wish that Butch's voice was changed to his US one though, as you'd think that this would happen, but nope, he still has his UK voice. Steve Kynman's Duck voice is made to perfection, 'nuff said. Jonathan Broadbent is an exquisite addition to the voice cast and makes his Bill and Ben voices sound like young Birmingham teenagers about to cause mischief (no, not smoking or drinking alcohol...). The UK voice cast gets a rating of 9.5/10. US on the other hand gets the same rating (and no, Duck and the twins' voices haven't changed in the US version).

After beating Gordon the Big Engine in a race to Vicarstown Station, Thomas the Tank Engine is introduced to Gordon's brother, The Flying Scotsman, who is taking part in The Great Railway Show on the Mainland, encouraging Thomas to try and take part as well. Though every engine on Sodor wants to take part, Sir Topham Hatt has not made up his mind yet, and Thomas fears he won't be picked to go to the competition. But after getting an idea to be streamlined for the competition, he passes his idea on to Sir Topham Hatt, who chooses Gordon to be streamlined instead.
At Brendam Docks, Thomas has a run-in with several of the competitors for The Great Railway Show (Teresa Gallagher, David Bedella & Rob Rackstraw) when their rail ferry docks there by mistake, and as a result, one of them is left behind. The engine, a beautifully-painted one from India named Ashima (Tina Desai), makes a bad first impression on Thomas after almost making him fall off the dock, but upon getting another idea regarding her paintwork from Annie and Clarabel, he heads to the Steamworks to be repainted, but is forced to reveal his new idea to Sir Topham Hatt, who selects James and Emily to be repainted instead. Running into Ashima again after learning she took Annie and Clarabel down his branch line, Thomas is convinced by her to just be himself and take part in the shunting challenge at The Great Railway Show since he is so good at shunting.
However, thanks to a trick by Diesel involving Den, Dart, and Paxton, Thomas suffers an accident with Norman at Knapford Junction, and has to be left behind to have his front end mended while Percy takes his place. In the end, Thomas is able to go, despite not being fully repaired when he discovers that Gordon left without his safety valve being properly installed while he was being streamlined, which means his boiler could overheat at high speeds.
At The Great Railway Show, Henry loses the strength competition, James and Emily lose the Best Decorated Engine award to Ashima's fellow engine from India, Rajiv, and due to not waiting to have his safety valve installed, Gordon's boiler explodes and he loses the race. Thomas takes Percy's place in the shunting competition, but sacrifices his chances to win when he sees Ashima's track blocked by a derailed flatbed and switches tracks with her so he hits the flatbed instead. However, the judges decide to award Thomas the win alongside Ashima for his excellent sportsmanship. Sir Topham Hatt and the other Sodor engines are very proud of Thomas.
With The Great Railway Show over, Thomas invites Ashima to come back to Sodor to catch her ferry home to India there, allowing her to spend some more time with her new friends while Diesel, stuck in a crate, sails away on a ship leaving Sodor.

After being an absolute nuisance to all of the other engines by teasing and bossing them around, Thomas (voiced by UK: Ben Small/US: Martin Sherman) accepts Spencer's challenge to a contest of strength, taking heavy cargo around the island. Thomas's brakes fail after climbing a tall hill, and he runs out of control through an overgrown, abandoned line. There, Thomas finds an old abandoned Japanese engine named Hiro (voiced by Togo Igawa). Hiro doesn't want the Fat Controller (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) to find out, fearing he will be scrapped, so Thomas promises to keep him his secret and work to make Hiro "Master of the Railway" once again. Later, he's taken to the Sodor Steamworks for repairs, where he finds old parts for Hiro. Percy misplaces his own mail trucks and breaks down while doing Thomas's job, so Thomas brings him to the Steamworks. The Fat Controller finds out about this and scolds Thomas by forcing him to do Percy's work. With nobody else to ask for help, Thomas tells the rest of his friends about Hiro. They all work together in bringing Hiro new parts, distracting Spencer, and keeping the operation a secret from the Fat Controller while Thomas and Percy try to find the missing mail trucks. Hiro makes friends with all of the engines, but gradually grows homesick. On the day that the last necessary part for Hiro is to be delivered, Spencer discovers Percy's mail trucks, only to be cornered by Thomas, James (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) and Toby (voiced by UK: Ben Small/US: William Hope). The Fat Controller accuses Spencer of stealing the trucks and demands he return them to Percy.
While Thomas and Hiro wait for Percy with the last part, they hear Spencer's whistle and run. Spencer finds them and gives chase, but without the last part, Hiro falls apart and is forced to a stop. Spencer is suddenly distracted by Gordon (voiced by UK: Keith Wickham/US: Kerry Shale) while Thomas moves Hiro to a new hiding place. The Duke and Duchess are furious with Spencer for abandoning his own work, and Thomas asks to assist him, in order to keep his eye on Spencer and to gain the trust of the Fat Controller. Meanwhile, the other engines visit Hiro to keep his spirits up. When Thomas finally decides to tell the Fat Controller about Hiro, Spencer tries to stop him, but he is foiled by a rickety bridge which collapses beneath him.
When Thomas explains Hiro's situation to the Fat Controller, he reassures Thomas that he would never have scrapped the "Master of the Railway", and the following day, Thomas and Percy bring him to the Steamworks. There, Victor and his assistant, Kevin the Crane (voiced by UK: Matt Wilkinson/US: Kerry Shale), work together to restore Hiro. 3:35 The musical premiered at the New York Theatre Workshop from October through November 1999 under the title Wise Guys. It was directed by Sam Mendes and starred Nathan Lane and Victor Garber as brothers Addison Mizner and Wilson Mizner.[1] A legal case involving Scott Rudin and Weidman and Sondheim held up further production.[2]
Substantially rewritten and retitled Bounce, the show opened on June 20, 2003 at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. The production was directed by Harold Prince, with choreography by Michael Arnold, set design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Miguel Angel Huidor, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and hair design by David H. Lawrence. The cast starred Richard Kind (Addison Mizner), Howard McGillin (Wilson Mizner), Jane Powell (Mama Mizner), Herndon Lackey (Papa Mizner/Businessman/Englishman/Plantation Owner/Armstrong/Real Estate Owner), Gavin Creel (Hollis Bessemer), and Michele Pawk (Nellie).[3]
The musical then ran at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in October and November 2003 with the Chicago cast. It received mixed–to–negative reviews and was not produced in New York.[4][5][6] A private reading of Bounce was held at the Public Theater on February 6, 2006. Playbill reported that Eric Schaeffer directed, with Richard Kind and Bernadette Peters among the cast.[7]
A new production of the musical, titled Road Show, rewritten without an intermission and without the leading female character of Nellie (who had been added for 2003 production), opened Off-Broadway at The Public Theater's Newman Theater in previews on October 28, 2008, officially opening on November 18, and closing December 28, 2008. John Doyle was the director and designer, with Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani playing brothers Wilson and Addison Mizner respectively, Alma Cuervo as Mama, Claybourne Elder as Hollis, and William Parry as Papa.[8][9][10] This production won the 2009 Obie Award for Music and Lyrics.[11] and the Drama Desk Award, Outstanding Lyrics (Sondheim).[12]
The title changes reflect the creators' attempts to hone the show's story and themes. "Ideally the title is connected to what we hope the show is about," Weidman says.[13]
The musical opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory, London in previews on June 24, 2011, officially on July 6 and closed on September 18. John Doyle was the director and designer, with a cast featuring Michael Jibson, David Bedella and Jon Robyns.[14]
The US regional premier opened at Stages Repertory Theater in Houston, Texas on May 22, 2013, directed by Kenn McLaughlin. The cast featured Tom Frey and L. Jay Meyer, playing Wilson and Addison Mizner, respectively, along with Susan Shofner as Mama, Jimmy Phillips as Papa, and Michael McClure as Hollis. Rounding out the cast were Cameron Bautsch, Bridget Bierne, Hunter Frederick, Sarah Myers, Amanda Parker, Amanda Passanante, Tom Prior and Brandon Whitley.[15]
A Chicago version opened at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on March 13, 2014, starring Andrew Rothenberg as Wilson and Michael Aaron Lidner as Addison.

3:35 The musical premiered at the New York Theatre Workshop from October through November 1999 under the title Wise Guys. It was directed by Sam Mendes and starred Nathan Lane and Victor Garber as brothers Addison Mizner and Wilson Mizner.[1] A legal case involving Scott Rudin and Weidman and Sondheim held up further production.[2]
Substantially rewritten and retitled Bounce, the show opened on June 20, 2003 at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. The production was directed by Harold Prince, with choreography by Michael Arnold, set design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Miguel Angel Huidor, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and hair design by David H. Lawrence. The cast starred Richard Kind (Addison Mizner), Howard McGillin (Wilson Mizner), Jane Powell (Mama Mizner), Herndon Lackey (Papa Mizner/Businessman/Englishman/Plantation Owner/Armstrong/Real Estate Owner), Gavin Creel (Hollis Bessemer), and Michele Pawk (Nellie).[3]
The musical then ran at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in October and November 2003 with the Chicago cast. It received mixed–to–negative reviews and was not produced in New York.[4][5][6] A private reading of Bounce was held at the Public Theater on February 6, 2006. Playbill reported that Eric Schaeffer directed, with Richard Kind and Bernadette Peters among the cast.[7]
A new production of the musical, titled Road Show, rewritten without an intermission and without the leading female character of Nellie (who had been added for 2003 production), opened Off-Broadway at The Public Theater's Newman Theater in previews on October 28, 2008, officially opening on November 18, and closing December 28, 2008. John Doyle was the director and designer, with Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani playing brothers Wilson and Addison Mizner respectively, Alma Cuervo as Mama, Claybourne Elder as Hollis, and William Parry as Papa.[8][9][10] This production won the 2009 Obie Award for Music and Lyrics.[11] and the Drama Desk Award, Outstanding Lyrics (Sondheim).[12]
The title changes reflect the creators' attempts to hone the show's story and themes. "Ideally the title is connected to what we hope the show is about," Weidman says.[13]
The musical opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory, London in previews on June 24, 2011, officially on July 6 and closed on September 18. John Doyle was the director and designer, with a cast featuring Michael Jibson, David Bedella and Jon Robyns.[14]
The US regional premier opened at Stages Repertory Theater in Houston, Texas on May 22, 2013, directed by Kenn McLaughlin. The cast featured Tom Frey and L. Jay Meyer, playing Wilson and Addison Mizner, respectively, along with Susan Shofner as Mama, Jimmy Phillips as Papa, and Michael McClure as Hollis. Rounding out the cast were Cameron Bautsch, Bridget Bierne, Hunter Frederick, Sarah Myers, Amanda Parker, Amanda Passanante, Tom Prior and Brandon Whitley.[15]
A Chicago version opened at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on March 13, 2014, starring Andrew Rothenberg as Wilson and Michael Aaron Lidner as Addison.

Well I'm pretty sure none of you were expecting this from me, eh?
I finally tell you all my thoughts on the latest series of Thomas Friends which had gotten a lot of acclaim by many of the E2 0-6-0 locomotive's fans. All the episodes in the video will be summed up with the plot and my thoughts afterwards trying to squeeze them into one minute per episode.
Don't remind me about some of the video errors, I know about them, so keep shut.
My thoughts on the voice cast (as I forgot to add that to the video):
The voice cast for the UK is good as usual, however with Rupert Degas gone from the cast, Ben Small does a good Flynn voice although it's not quite the strong American accent that Rupert gave him which suits him a bit more, it could do with a little bit more tweaking, Bertie's voice is fine though, Keith Wickham makes him sound like his original voice actor. I must say, thank God they changed Victor's UK voice to the US' David Bedella (this was since BMM) since his UK voice just didn't suit him in the slightest, it was over the top. His US voice makes him in character much more and the best voice actor replacement Sharon Miller has ever done. I do wish that Butch's voice was changed to his US one though, as you'd think that this would happen, but nope, he still has his UK voice. Steve Kynman's Duck voice is made to perfection, 'nuff said. Jonathan Broadbent is an exquisite addition to the voice cast and makes his Bill and Ben voices sound like young Birmingham teenagers about to cause mischief (no, not smoking or drinking alcohol...). The UK voice cast gets a rating of 9.5/10. US on the other hand gets the same rating (and no, Duck and the twins' voices haven't changed in the US version).
