* Note that we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday and therefore orders received after 4:15 PM PT on Friday may take 1-2 days longer to arrive. Overnight orders placed by 4:15 PM PT on weekdays will arrive the next business day. For legal and safety reasons, we are only able to ship items containing hazardous or flammable materials (such as fragrances) via our standard shipping service.

   

Standard Shipping

Standard Shipping is $5.95 per order in the U.S. Available delivery speed depends on whether the product is in-stock at our warehouse or shipped from a manufacturer. Delivery upgrades are available for many locations for most items. Certain items, like furniture and large or heavy items, may require door-to-door or enhanced delivery and incur extra delivery charges. Orders containing multiple items may be split up into different shipments to get you your items faster and these multiple shipments may be subject to an additional fee.

   

Restrictions, Undeliverable Packages & Credit Card Charges       

Shipping Restrictions

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, and U.S. protectorates and territories (American Samoa, Guam, Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau, and U.S. Virgin Islands) will generally arrive within 3-7 business days of the ship date. Deliveries to APO or FPO addresses may take longer - up to 21 days from the ship date.

Deliveries of items containing hazardous or flammable materials (such as fragrances) may take longer due to legally mandated shipping requirements. In the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond the control of MyHabit, packages will be delivered as fast as possible, but may take longer than the estimates above.

MyHabit reserves the right to discontinue any shipping promotion at its discretion.

Undeliverable Packages

When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to MyHabit, a full refund is issued for the items less the shipping fee. We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order if the product is still available for purchase.

The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to some addresses. If you have a PO Box address, it's best to use that for your orders. All orders with "PO Box" in the address are automatically shipped via U.S. Mail.

If the order is being shipped to a prison, there may be delivery restrictions associated with the items or shippers. These restrictions are determined by the penitentiary and may vary.

Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package before it is deemed undeliverable. Packages that contain more than $1,299 in merchandise will always require a signature.

Charging Your Credit Card

We will not charge your credit card for any items until after they enter the shipping process. You will receive an e-mail notification once we have charged your credit card.

   

International Shipping

We offer priority international shipping to 65+ countries as well as expedited international shipping to selected countries. To determine the cost of shipping an item to your home country, please see the below Global Shipping Rates. Certain items like large furniture may incur extra delivery charges. International shipping rates do not include import taxes, customs duties and fees. Available products and fees may vary depending on the delivery address for your order. Product detail pages will indicate which items may not be shipped outside of the U.S. Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. Limitations on Imports

For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from MyHabit, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.


International Returns

If you return a product to us, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and risk of loss transfer to us upon receipt at our fulfillment centers.

About Customs, Duties, and Taxes

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

 

Customs offices in some countries require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. As the importer of record, you or the party to whom you are shipping may be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID. Countries that require an identification number include: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Israel, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey. You have the option to save an identification number with a shipping address by editing an address in the My Shipping Addresses portion of My Account.


Using a Freight Forwarder

Using a freight forwarder to ship items internationally may result in complications not covered by MyHabit. If a freight forwarder is used, the following terms will apply:

MyHabit will not be responsible for damage or loss that occurs to goods after they are delivered to the freight forwarder. This means that MyHabit is not able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any goods delivered to a freight forwarder. You should instruct freight forwarders to refuse goods that arrive damaged, and goods lost after being received by the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.

You (or the freight forwarder if you so designate) become the exporter of the goods and are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country. MyHabit must not be listed on any export or import documentation (e.g., import or export declarations, invoices, packing lists, etc.).

MyHabit products that are exported by you through a freight forwarder may be returned to MyHabit, provided that you are responsible for all the costs associated with returning the goods to the U.S. In addition, you become the exporter and importer of record of the shipment; title and risk of loss transfer to MyHabit upon receipt of the goods at MyHabit's fulfillment center.

How will I know what was actually paid to Revenue Canada and who do I contact for documentation?

Canadian customs clearance for most retail purchases from MyHabit is done through the Low Value Shipment (LVS) process. Information regarding duties and taxes paid to Revenue Canada is available from the carrier. Please contact the carrier directly with your order number and carrier tracking ID which is available on the shipping label or in Your Account.

The carrier contacted me for additional information to process the customs clearance. Why do they need this?

Shipments valued over CAD 1600 per Revenue Canada regulation require a formal clearance. To process a formal clearance, the carrier requires a Power of Attorney signed by the importer. The carrier will provide the necessary paperwork to the importer. There is no additional fee for this service.

Return Shipping Fees & Policies

You may choose from one of the following methods:

1. Return items for a refund to the credit card or debit card you used for payment minus a $3.99 return shipping fee (unless the return is a result of our error).

OR

2. Return items for a refund in the form of an Amazon.com gift card for payment minus a $3.99 return shipping fee (unless the return is a result of our error). Amazon.com gift cards may be used on MyHabit and Amazon.com, subject to the terms and conditions of the Amazon.com gift card.

A $3.99 return shipping fee for U.S. orders will be deducted from the amount of your refund.  If you send multiple items in your return, the return shipping fee is $3.99. If you’re sending us returns from two different orders, you’ll be charged for each return. If the reason for return is the result of a MyHabit error, you will not be charged. You must start the return process within 14 days of receiving your item(s).


U.S. Returns: MyHabit offers a 14 day return window within the U.S. for returnable items, in exchange for a refund to the credit card or debit card originally used for payment or refund in the form of a gift card credit. You must start the return process within 14 days of receiving your item(s).

International Returns: Send the original item (if it is eligible for return) back to us via an economical method and, if the return was the result of our error, we'll reimburse you a portion of the return shipping cost once we receive the returned item. Customers seeking reimbursement for international return shipping must provide a copy of the return shipping receipt that clearly indicates return shipping cost in USD from the carrier along with the return in order to process the return shipping reimbursement request. If the return was not the result of our error, all return shipping costs, duties and taxes will be your responsibility.

Gift Returns: Please visit our Online Returns Center and select "I received the item as a gift" and follow the return steps as directed. We'll send your refund in the form of an e-mail Amazon.com gift card redeemable on MyHabit or Amazon.com. If you use our prepaid shipping label, a $3.99 return shipping fee for US orders will be deducted from the amount of your refund.  If you send multiple items in your return, the return shipping fee is $3.99. If you’re sending us returns from two different orders, you’ll be charged for each return. If the reason for return is the result of a MyHabit error, you will not be charged.

Returnable Items: As part of the detailed product information about each product, we indicate whether or not it is eligible for return. For an item to be eligible for return, the following must apply:

  1. The item must have been marked as returnable on our site at the time of purchase. Items marked as non-returnable may not be returned at any time.
  2. You must start the return process within 14 days of receiving your item(s).
  3. Items must be returned in their original packaging, including: hangers, polybags, hang tags on garments, shoe boxes, dust bags, and gift boxes.
  4. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  5. Beauty products are only eligible for returns if they are unopened.
  6. If you are returning multiple items from a single order, you may return them together in a single package. If you are returning items from different orders, please package them separately, and include the correct return documentation in each package. 

Large Items: Certain large items may be shipped via a non-standard carrier and require special handling for returns. These items may also be subject to additional return shipping charges. Please contact customer service directly for assistance.

Non-Returnables

In order to offer a great selection of quality products at low prices, we try to keep all costs (such as processing returns) at a minimum—meaning we're unable to process returns on some items. Our priority, of course, is that you are thrilled with your purchase. If you have any questions or concerns about an item in your order, our Customer Service team is happy to help you.Please contact customer service directly for assistance.

Refund Method

The product detail page will indicate if an item is eligible for returns. If you return an eligible item, you can choose between a refund to the credit card/debit card you used for payment, or a refund in the form of an Amazon.com gift card. Amazon.com gift cards may be used on MyHabit and Amazon.com, subject to the terms and conditions of the Amazon.com gift card.

If you originally paid for the purchase with gift card credit, or with a combination of gift card credit and payment by credit card or debit card, you will receive the refund in the form of Amazon.com gift card credit only.

Refunds will take approximately 14 business days from the date you mail your return to reflect on your original form of payment. After 14 days, you should expect to see the full amount of the refund, minus the return shipping charge where applicable, to your credit card, debit card or gift card credit. We will notify you once the refund has been applied.

Please visit our Online Returns Center to get a return mailing label for your order. If you use our prepaid shipping label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return is the result of our error.

Exchanges

To exchange your item for a different size or color, please visit the Online Returns Center.

Eligible items must meet the following criteria:

  • Not previously exchanged
  • Different size or color than the item being returned
  • Less than $500
  • Shipped in the U.S.
  • Purchased without promotional certificates and not sent as a gift
  • You do not have another item out for exchange from the same order- MyHabit only processes one exchange per order at a time until the exchange is complete.
Once you’ve selected an item for exchange, items are reserved in your cart for 10 minutes before they become available again to other customers. We’ll also waive the return shipping fee for the first exchange you request per order. If the price is lower or higher on your new item, we’ll either refund the difference to your original form of payment or charge any additional cost to the payment method of your choice.  If the original item isn’t received within 30 days, we’ll charge your card. If you need to return the exchanged item, we will refund you in the form of a Gift Card. We do not offer subsequent exchanges on previously exchanged items.
