Hell hath no fury like a neo-Nazi scorned amirite?
Neil ‘Nazi Boy’ Erikson has been busy over the last few days exposing local neo-Nazi elements in the patriotik milieu. Much of what he’s stated — Nationalist Alternative (NAlt) is a neo-Nazi gang; the United Patriots Front (UPF) is led by neo-Nazis (Blair Cottrell, Thomas Sewell); he was #BFFs with the defunct Melbourne-based neo-Nazi gang the ‘Crazy White Boys’, etc. — is already known. But he’s made a few other claims which are revealing:
• NAlt meets at a mansion (146 Toorak Road) in South Yarra which functions as the happy home of ‘The English-Speaking Union of Victoria’, the ‘Royal Society of St George’ and the ‘British Australian Community’ (formerly the ‘United Kingdom Settlers’ Association’). I’d never heard of these groups, but they seem somewhat reminiscent of arch-Tory groups like the ‘Conservative Monday Club’ in the UK; a group which had close links to the fascist ‘National Front’ in the 1970s. (Oh yeah. On its website, the BAC gives props to Swedish neo-Nazi warbler Saga.)

• Sydney-based ‘Australia First Party’ (AFP) bizarr0 Nathan Sykes — who writes for AFP, Whitelaw Towers (WLT) blog and the US-based neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer — is in fact Jewish. This would, of course, be quite remarkable if true, though not unique: the 2001 film The Believer was inspired by the life and death of Daniel Burros (1937–1965), an American neo-Nazi of Jewish descent. (Burros committed suicide on October 31, 1965, hours after his Jewish heritage was made public. He shot himself in the chest and then the head. At the time, he was reportedly listening to music composed by Richard Wagner.)
Sykes is not. a. fan. of my blog and wrote a batshit piece about me back in March 2015 (see : slackbastard ~versus~ Australia First Party, Daily Stormer, Reclaim Australia (etc.), March 10, 2015). Inter alia, Sykes wrote that I was a “gutless squid” who “champions every cause in the whole spectrum of the social justice warrior rainbow, without being sincere about any. If it’s faggot marriage, Muslim asylum seekers crying in detention because they didn’t get to sneak in and rape a white woman, petrol-sniffing Abos demanding sit-down money or self-hating Whites marching in solidarity with Ferguson, he’s got his tender paw in the scene.” (I’m also denounced as an “ideological fraudster”, “professional mud slinger”, “champion of the Jew-run left-wing media”, “hipster skunk” and “limp-wristed poseur”. Touché! LOL.)
The Daily Stormer was in the news last year for publishing various crazed attacks upon Australian public figures such as Josh Bornstein, Tim Soutphommasane and Mariam Veiszadeh. Notoriously, the site also hosted writings by Joshua Goldberg. Sykes — until 2008 the editor of B-grade pornographic magazine 100% Home Girls — has contributed dozens of articles to Daily Stormer using the handle ‘Hamish Patton’. • In December 2015, Brisbane-based neo-Nazi Jim Perren (ex-‘White Pride Coalition of Australia’, WLT blog) was apparently part of the UPF’s (vewy secwet) inner circle. You may remember Jim Perren from such events as the abortive joint rally by Australia First and Golden Dawn in Brisbane in May 2014. Assuming Perren remains a part of the UPF — and has not left or been removed by der Führer in the meantime — the ‘pagan’ neo-Nazi would be holding hands with fellow Queenslander and Christian fu-da-mentalist Scott Moerland: such a happy marriage! LOL.
On the whole, the cracks in the patriotik movement between neo-Nazis and Christian fundamentalists (whose chief embodiment at the moment is the UPF) on the one hand and ‘civic patriots’ (also sometimes termed ‘kosher patriots’ by their anti-Semitic and White nationalist rivals on the right), on the other hand, would appear to be further widening. Reclaim Australia appears to be in steady if not permanent decline — the national page was unpublished a few days ago, and the dumbs and mads who comprised the original committee are at war with one another over money, merchandise and fame — leaving the UPF, in whatever disarray it may be currently, holding the patriotik bag. Of course, fascists rarely play well together, and there are seemingly still many scores to settle among the ranks, so it’s highly likely that there’ll be more recriminations to come …

Mr Sykes has advised me to correct you on two points, and upbraid you on a major. Firstly, the pornographic magazine in question was not B-grade, it was C-grade… and he forgets the other… but the major point is that you give a hell of a lot of oxygen to a committed liar, schemer and traitor in the perfidious Neil Erikson. You have some absolutely first class commentary to ridicule with WLT, who are breaking the serious stuff, and yet in your unforgivable mediocrity you choose to rely on the latter’s boorish produce. For shame. And Mr Sykes is about as Jewish as Benito Mussolini, but he asks that you not be so quick in publishing that fact because Neil has just given him an avenue with which to finally ca$h in on his long-drafted, long-ignored Hollywood script. If the tribe believe he is with them, Mr Sykes will finally be able to buy me those see-through Jimmy Choo stilettos he reckons show off my speckled toes to kinky perfection.
The assertion that Sykes is Jewish is questionable, yes, and if Erikson is the only source, hardly credible. On the other hand, Goldberg wrote for the Daily Stormer, and if prior to his public exposure someone had suggested that he was in fact Jewish, the reaction would have been dismissive (at best). But in fact, he was (is). The rest of Neil’s account seems pretty straight-forward.
Erikson was removed from the UPF. He was told to leave. This behaviour gives you an idea why: he has no loyalty, but to his own ego. The point being that Muriel is making is that if you see that video about Howard Crawford you understand where this is going. Erikson and Burgess have not gone by themselves rogue. These two comedians are being used by the same Liberal party man behind Nick Folkes. The intent, which your readers would love very much, is to cause a rift and take control of that stupid patriot movement. But the fascinating thing is the Howard Crawford character and how he ties in with Marcus Cornish, a Penrith Councillor, and all the minor figures stretching out to Pauline Hanson and her One Nation party. Howard was caught by these jokers who had a troll make friends with him on facebook and then promise dirt on Jim Saleam of Australia First party. Look him up. On those tapes he admits to his involvement in this rift and telling Folkes to keep quiet. There is money on the table for Folkes’ court costs after the Jamal Rifi case but none for Shermon who is being used. It’s like days of our lives…
I’m not aware of any connection between Crawford and Burgess or Erikson. In the first of the two videos the AFP have uploaded (the audio quality is very poor in parts), when asked for his opinion, Howard calls Felicity Sharpe a ‘goose’ and says Nick Folkes is a good bloke but a bit excitable; Howard further reckons he assured Nick not to worry about his legal troubles because he could arrange a barrister to represent him in court. The second video largely consists of a discussion about court costs, with Howard expressing a willingness to help Nick meet his and disinterest in meeting anyone else’s (ie Shermon).
Cottrell has firmly established himself as fuehrer of UPF and Fortitude and surrounded himself with lickspittles (eg Sewell) and useful idiots (eg Shortis). Burgess is too much of a boofhead, and because he gained an inflated sense of himself via his creation of ‘The Great Aussie Patriot’, can’t be relied upon to follow orders — the same goes for Erikson (though he actually seems a bit less naive than his mate). As I see it, both Burgess and Erikson served their purpose in helping to create the UPF and thereby a platform for Cottrell: he simply doesn’t need them any more. Neil reckons it was attacks upon his mate Shermon that caused him to join him in denouncing Cottrell/UPF/Fortitude — maybe. Obviously, both boys knew that Cottrell and Co were neo-Nazis long before their very recent denunciation, so no, it’s not a principled stand they’re taking (and leaving aside Neil’s many years as a neo-Nazi activist).
Beyond this, I’d suggest that the various conflicts between Jim and AFP, Nick and PFF, and also Howard, centre upon ‘nationalist’ politics, broadly defined, in Sydney, with less relevance in Melbourne (or Cooma).
The quality of the audio is not great but you have no comment on this man Crawford representing patriot parties as such sitting down with what he believes is a Socialist Alliance member? Well, anyway in my view that is what the videos rest on. This man is not even scrutinized while he is being present with Marcus Cornish a Sydney Penrith councillor and the same lawyer defending all failed mosque court actions. And he is involved at every corner. Yes, Burgess is involved with Nick Folkes and therefore Crawford. The allegation of Sykes being a Jew comes from Crawford’s camp. The UPF are not the core of the story unless you favour events from Erikson and Burgess and they are hardly reliable witnesses given their willingness to lie and trade corners. You cannot run with the foxes and hunt with the dogs, yet as you say the thing is Sydney politics (pardon my typing on this bad device by the way). But we care enough to comment this far!
I’m not sure who Howard was representing. AFAIK, his principal allegiance is to the Liberals.
Something is not right with this whole Crawford saga. WLT has released what seems to be parts of footage but no email correspondence, no texts or recorded phone conversations. How was contact made by this alleged Soc Alt member and under what guise? It looks like it’s got a long way to go but it is getting very interesting Andy.
Just an outside perspective… having known of Neil and having some personal contact and being on the fringe of his political movements and ideology I can honestly say Neil preoccupies himself a lot with the politics inside the politics and the rest of the time enjoys a topsy turvy personal life with some stability given by his spouse and children. I think his outlet half the time is to cause commotion and smoke… his long term ambition to lead or be part of the ruling elite in any political party is often undone by his instability and inability to blend in and accept the majority rules even in a right wing party and comes undone when the cunning side of politics come into play. Top bloke all this considered. Label him whatever you want but if you earn his mateship he’s a helpful guy and won’t shit on it however he is prone to erratic behavior which can bend and break friendships or get him charged as per previous history. Lots of potential but too rough around the ages to amount to legitimate high powered right wing player. Please just all move on and let him be without adding any more fuel to the smoke. Cheers.
