Dell XPS 13 9350 (Late 2015) Review
Lisa Gade reviews the late
2015 Dell XPS 13 model 9350 with
Intel 6th generation Skylake
CPUs. The late 2015 model looks identical to the early 2015 that we reviewed, and that’s fine with us because the XPS 13 is one of the most portable, well made and attractive 13.3” Ultrabooks on the market. Dell changed just a few things: the
CPU generational update, a slightly higher capacity battery and the addition of the USB-C/
Thunderbolt 3 port that replaces the mini DisplayPort. The laptop is available with
Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 dual core 15 watt U series CPUs with Intel HD 520 graphics. You can get it with 4, 8 or 16 gigs of
DDR3 RAM, and 128, 256 or 512 gig
PCIe SSDs. It has dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a backlit keyboard.

The Infinity display with almost no bezel is eye-catching and as with the prior model, it’s available with a
1920 x
1080 matte, non-touch display or a
QHD+
3200 x 1800 gloss IGZO touch screen. This is a traditional laptop and not a convertible, and it’s the smallest 13” notebook on the market with a footprint similar to some 11.6 to 12” laptops. The base non-touch model with a
Core i3, 4 gigs of RAM and a 128 gig
SSD is $799. Our QHD+ touch model with the 2.3 GHz
Intel Core i5-6200U, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gig SSD is $1,399.
