Philippines Travel Guide questions to sean@BADLADZ.com
The key to traveling in the Philippines is to always travel light. The lighter the things you carry are, the less punishment your body gets. Especially when traveling to the mountains here in the Philippines or hiking, the extra weight would bring you down and make you get tired faster. When you travel in the Philippines, there’s going to be lots of places you want to go to. So if you have a lot of things with you, you’re going to need a place where you can leave unnecessary stuff from your pack before traveling again. I will give you travel light packing essentials so you don’t have to wonder what to bring.
I certainly understand that a lotta people don't want to plan their vacations too much, wanna be a bit more spontaneous, wanna rock n roll. I understand it, I do it myself, but you want to plan a few things.
You want the right gear. Waterproof backpack. If a laptop, then a small one. Swimsuit. Micro-towel.
Focus on nice, lightweight stuff. Get wrinkle free and you won't have to worry about ironing.
There's great adventure here, but you wanna be able to pack light and fast. Packing light will make everything easier.
It's one of the best Philippines travel advice tips to remember.
One of the bags that you hang around your waist for your phone, wallet, cash, etc.
If you can buy it in your country, you can buy it here. You can buy Macbooks, bottled water, batteries, etc.
Everything you can get here, so pack light. And everything's cheap here. Laundry is cheap so you won't have to do any laundry.
2 or 3 changes of clothes. MAYBE a change of pants but not really necessary. This is the second video in the Philippines travel guide series.
Quick Tips:
1.
Whenever you get a taxi in the Philippines, always make sure the meter is turned on and that your taxi driver knows where you are going.
2.
Money changers in
Manila have tricks to give you less money than you gave them, and they have tricks to slip bills under the table without you noticing! Keep a close eye on their bills and their hands!
3. Be careful giving money to street people when you travel in the Philippines. For one, you are just perpetuating a problem. You can also pull out your wallet to help and find it snatched out of your hands and halfway down the street before you can shout '
Stop!'
4. Wear your backpack on your front when on public transportation in Manila. Even if you think you're being careful, a tourist who's rucksack is on their
... ruck... is a tempting target.
5. If you have trouble with the Philippines police, pay the first person who stops you for anything. The longer you wait, the more people will get involved, and everyone will need a bribe to forget they saw you.
6.
Insect repellent - BRING SOME or
BUY SOME in the Philippines-
After dark mosquitos can be voracious little bloodsuckers and they'll dive-bomb straight for your ankles!
