Borre (gl. form Burgh, Borrig) er en landsby på den østlige del af Møn, beliggende i Borre Sogn for foden af en stor bakke på vejen fra Stege til Liselund og Møns Klint. Landsbyen har 309 indbyggere (2015), ligger i Vordingborg Kommune og tilhører Region Sjælland.
Borre var i Middelalderen en købstad, som var stor nok til at kunne sammenlignes med øens anden købstad, Stege. Velstanden skyldtes den store sildefangst i sundet. Dens tidligere beliggenhed er ikke klar; men den har formentlig ligget på en ø i et sund, som helt gennemskar den østligste del af øen Møn fra nord til syd. Senere forvandledes dette sund til en smal vig med indløb fra nord.
Det første alvorlige knæk led Borre, da den i 1510 blev plyndret og ødelagt af lübeckerne, og da fjorden begyndte at sande til, mistede den helt sin betydning. I 1648 fornyede Frederik 3. dens købstadsprivilegier, men den havde næppe på det tidspunkt nogen økonomisk rolle.
Senere lukkedes fjorden helt – endnu 1763 kunne den dog besejles.
Borre Kirke stammer fra begyndelsen af 1200-tallet og er opført i romansk stil.

With a population of 309 in the village and 576 in the parish as of 1 January 2015, it is the third largest community on the island after Stege and Store Damme. In the Middle Ages, Borre was a market town which owed its prosperity to the herring fishing industry. The drained area now referred to as Borre Sømose was then a navigable inlet connected to the sea.

Denne episoden går turen til Danmark og til en plass jeg har drømt om å reise til helt siden den gangen jeg så bilder derfra.
Vi reiser til Møn som ligger på en øy i Grønsund utenfor Sydsjællands kyst.
2 dager med fiske ble ikke mye tiden der nede, men vi traff både fisk og fikk oppleve den naturen vi ønsket
Med på tur har jeg med min kompis Anes Spahic som ikke trengte noen betekningstid på å bli.
Så her kommer noe av det vi opplevde på disse 2 dagene.

Møn
Møn is an island in south-eastern Denmark. Until 1 January 2007, it was a municipality in its own right but it is now part of the municipality of Vordingborg, after merging with the former municipalities of Langebæk, Præstø, and Vordingborg. This has created a municipality with an area of 615 km2 (237 sq mi) and a total population of 46,307 (2005). It belongs to the Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region"). Møn is one of Denmark's most popular destinations for tourists with its white chalk cliffs, countryside, sandy beaches and the market town of Stege.
Location
Møn is located just off the south-eastern tip of Zealand from which it is separated by the waters of the Hølen strait between Kalvehave and the island of Nyord, at the northern end of Møn. Further south is Stege Bugt. At the narrowest point between the two islands, the waters are referred to as Wolf Strait (Ulvsund), which is the primary strait separating Møn from Zealand.
To the southwest is Stubbekøbing on the island of Falster, which is separated from Møn by the Grønsund (Green Strait).

With a population of 309 in the village and 576 in the parish as of 1 January 2015, it is the third largest community on the island after Stege and Store Damme. Now part of Vordingborg Municipality, it belongs to Region Zealand.
In the Middle Ages, Borre was a market town which owed its prosperity to the herring fishing industry. The drained area now referred to as Borre Sømose was then a navigable inlet connected to the sea.

Copenhagen in Denmark was INCREDIBLE! We didn't have a lot of time in Copenhagen so we jammed A LOT of attractions into this trip. In this Copenhagen vlog, we checked out a few free museums in Copenhagen like Glyptotek, David's collection. Nyhavn, the round tower, the royal stables and SO MUCH MORE!! Most of our Denmark travels were spent eating credible food, so if you're not sure where to eat in Copenhagen, then now you know! At first we weren't sure what to do in Copenhagen, after the main attraction we just ended up lost but when we visit Copenhagen again we'll make sure we follow a better travel guide maybe Joe goes lol! "The Cliffs of Møn are a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. Some of the cliffs fall a sheer 120 m to the sea below. The area around Møns Klint consists of woodlands, pastures, ponds and steep hills, including Aborrebjerg which, with a height of 143 m, is one of the highest points in Denmark. The cliffs and adjacent park are now protected as a nature reserve. Møns Klint receives around 250,000 visitors a year. There are clearly marked paths for walkers, riders and cyclists.
